How can I export LDAP portal users

We are using SSO with LDAP for production portal EP 7.0 users.
We would like to export ALL the users.
I tried to export all the users under
User administration-> Export button but it is not exporting all the users from LDAP
Does anyone have any experience with this before?

Always with the DVD Video Player final message reading, “Supported disc not available.” Advisors and Mac Geniuses at local Apple Stores have told me to try Roxio Toast. When I visited the Roxio website, and found numerous other company products, the descriptions all seemed to suggest that most of the apps shown can easily export videos to DVDs, but nothing was said about finished digital slide shows being exported. At future events soon, I hope to be handing out these finished DVDs (free) to the people in them. Any help will be greatly appreciated. A.Z.

Aperture cannot burn slideshows to a DVD. It only can export a video of your slideshow.
In Aperture 3 you use the "Export" button in Aperture's slideshow project to render a video to a folder on your disk.
Then you use iDVD or another program to burn a video DVD.
I cannot do a copy (export) without various error messages appearing and the inevitable stoppage occurring. Always with the DVD Video Player final message reading, “Supported disc not available.”
Could you please describe the exact steps that are causing these error messages?
How are you exporting your slideshow from Aperture? Which settings are you using? And how are you importing the video to iDVD or Toast to burn a video DVD?

How can I use LDAP searching from OSX Lion Server to Mozilla Thunderbird? We have a super awesome contacts server that works great for our Mac users. About 30% of our company are on PCs, and I would like to use the Mozilla Thunderbird mail client for them. I see that in Thunderbird I can set up LDAP searching, and would like to have this feature point to our contacts server. I've tried several different settings, and looked all over the web, but could not find the proper way to configure this. Does anyone know if this can be done, or if not, would have a better suggestion? Thank you for your time!!

How can I export aperture pictures to a new library? I wan to create a new aperture library at an exernal drive so that I can reduce the size of the current library in the internal drive. Thank you for letting me know.

"File➞Export➞ ... as new Library " will create a new Library from the selection.
The preferred method for making the Library on your system drive smaller is to change some of the Image's Originals from Managed (= stored inside the Library) to Referenced (= stored outside the Library, often on external drives). There are so many advantages to this that it can be recommended without question. Unless you have specific reasons for splitting your Library into two Libraries (security concerns are one of the very few reasons), you should keep your Library on your system drive with some Image's Originals Managed, and the rest Referenced to an external drive.
Read up about these options in the User Manual (scroll down).

the user management tab opens in Read Only mode - thats why the button is coming as disabled. There is a button for switching into Edit mode - it looks like a pen / pencil on the top bar. Click on that - your "Create User" button would be enabled.

How to determine numebr of portal users?

Hi experts,
we are using sap portal for displaying contents from different application, and active directory is storage of user master data.
my question is how can i find the number of users using SAP Portal ( login to sap portal ) ? i searched the users through portal user administrator it gives me all users created in active directory that does not make sense because some user do not know about portal.
another way i tried to run http://<server>:<port>/USMM this does not work either.
so how can i determine number of users using SAP Portal?

Hi Arvind,
If you want to find out the number of users which are actually defined in Portal, you can go to the User Administration tab and in Identity Management, Search Criteria as USER and select All DATA SOURCES, put a * in the column adjacent to it and click on GO.
It may give you tht the size limit is exceeded but it also gives you the total number of search elements.

Coming in and whining loudly is rude. We are all volunteers here, voluntarily sharing our expertise so that users like you can make the most of their time with Aperture. Speaking just for myself: although I do care about your success with software (it's why I'm here), I don't care what software you use. If you want to use Lightroom, do so, and post your questions in an appropriate forum.
Burning files to a CD is a file operation done at the system level (it is built into OS X). Aperture lets your create sharable image-format files from your Images. You then use OS X's tools to burn those files to a CD. Iirc, you can set up a "Burn Folder" in Finder, into which you can export files created from your Images, and with a single click burn your CD.
Naming the files you create by exporting your Images can be tricky. There are _many_ possibilities. Some things can't be done. Sequencing can be done in a number of ways (see Léonie's answer above). What have you tried? What was the result? In what way did this differ from what you expected?

Sorry but your iPhoto library is not on an iPad or iPod - you may have photos there (most likely low resolution copies) but not an iPhoto library - dying computers (along with software and human errors) are why you always must have a backup - now is the time to load it
