How can I get everyone's questions sent to my email. I have gone to my preferences and put NO to all the email notifications but I still get 40-50 a day.

Every day when I check my email I have many notifications from apple support community pertaining to someone else's questions. I have check all answers to getting emails No in the preferences in my profile. What else can I do?

To make a new document, go to File > New From Template chooser and choose the type of document you wish to create.

Lightroom 1.4.1 does not support native (NEF) files from the D700 because the camera didn't even exist when it was released. To get support you have two options: upgrade to Lr 2.x (paid for upgrade) or convert your NEF files to DNG.
DNG converter 5.4 can be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/downloads/ (see right hand side of page)

Congrats on the first iPhone. This is not normal. First check if moving the volume up or down either way has any impact on the sound. Then see what happens while on speakerphone. If you can hear ok on speakerphone, and there's no change from the regular earpiece with the volume changing, check with the carrier you received it from or the Apple store you purchased from. They will have other things to look at for you.

Usually effects packages are AU plugins that would have no effect on track selection. Interfaces should have no control over what kind of track you can select. I really think something else is going on her maybe something you overlooked.
Did you choose the input channel in the track info pane. Try both channel 1 mono or channel 2 mono. Make sure the track is record enabled.

I have a new iMac, and successfully transferred all the music. But I still can't get my iPod to download from iTunes without it losing all of the songs, photos, or tones.

I have transferred all of the songs from the old iMac we own to a new one we just bought. I have already had one problem with the music as in some songs wouldn't play without me using sharing. So I took and old computer off the sharing network and all is well there. But my iPod Touch will not download any music, tones, or pictures without me taking all of the previous items on my iPod Touch. Anyone have any clue what I should do?

Since I am impatient and can't wait for 90 minutes for an answer, I have decided to lose everything on my iPod and try to remember all the songs I had on them. But if anyone can help me prevent this in the future, that woud be great!

In my Thunderbd 24.4.0-Windows7-how can I copy and save to DVD all the emails? Unlike in previous Thundrbd they no longer come up in Defaults under Mail.

In my win XP, after Profiles to Default with all those numbers, then Mail, up came Local Folders which contained all the current emails, which were then easily open-able and save-able.
How can I now do the same with my newer thunderbird on my windows 7?

Thank you - I now can find the Mail folder, and then only when I select : pop3.virginmedia-1.com (my server) from it's 3 choices, does it show all my email folders. They are all in 2 versions. Those ending .msf I cannot open as they are "not a valid Win 32 application". The others with a little page icon, do all open - in Wordpad or Libreoffice, but the messages are almost totally lost amongst dozens of complex data pages before and after each little actual message! How can I open and see just the actual email messages without all the vast other data, so that I can then save them to a DVD?

HT3576 Can you get sound notifications for mail and iMessage with the new iPad. Under general sounds I have a sound selected for both of those. My volume is turned all the way up but I still don't get sound notifications with these apps. Suggestions?

I have sound turned on under general> sounds. The volume is all the way up and I can hear it when i adjust it. However under notifications sound is not an option for mail or iMessage. Just badges and alerts. Both of which are on. I would really like to hear my notifications. Any suggestions.

Have an Apple TV device I have gone thru setup with and used. Want to sell it now but concerned that it may store personal info that would be at risk if I sold it. Should I be concerned? Can I wipe it clean?

I have an Apple TV device that I attached to my tv, went through the setup, and used for a couple of weeks. I would like to sell the vice now, but I am concerned that it may in some way store personal info on it like the credit card no. that I would use for paying for movie rentals, etc. Does this device store any personal info on it that would be at risk if I sold it to another person? If so, is there some way I can wipe that info off of it?
The Macbook Pro and Apple TV were both bought from the Apple website in December so I assume they are the most recent models and operating system.

Settings > General > Reset > Restore, will wipe everything in preperation for resale.

I have deleted my history and put a check on the passwords, etc, but the old id's and pw's still come up so how do I get rid of them?

I cleared my history often by clicking on all of the items in that area. Is there a way to clear out the old id's and passwords? They keep coming up.

You can remove a saved password here: Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"

I have been creating a photo book using a lots of photographs on iPhoto, and then I took another photos by using new iPAD which I want to integrate with the original album/book on iMac. I was able to import them from iPAD's iPhoto to iMac's iPhoto. However I cannot import or transfer or sync anything from iMac's iPhoto to that of my iPAD.
So my iPhoto page on iPAD contains only 3 or 4 newly created albums, and no other info. That means no syncing....
I am supposed to be able to work on this project on either of these iPAD and iMac, correct?
I am puzzled. I appreciate for your advice and help.

It doesn't appear under the iPad device on the left-hand sidebar of iTunes, you need to select the iPad device on the sidebar and then select the Photos tab on the right-hand side of iTunes e.g.

I think i know what the problem is here. You have downloaded the Apple MAC version and trying to install on a Windows system. If this is so then you will get this error message.
Try to download the Windows version and then see if it works this time. Windows and Apple MACS are two different types of operating systems. Windows is widely used in the market place because of Microsoft's Marketing expertise while Apple MACs is used in the printing industry.
