i write a program with dbxml,if i want to know a query uses how much time,what should i do?

Note that you can use the "time" command of the Berkeley DB XML shell to see how much time a command takes to execute.
But you said you would do this programmatically. So, you can take a look at how the "time" shell command is implemented and do something similar within your program. The "Timer.hpp" and "Timer.cpp" files are found under "DBXML_HOME\dbxml\src\common>.
You could use the time/date related methods specific to C++ or Java (get the time before starting the query, execute the query, then get the time at which the query ended, and calculate the time difference between those moments).

How can I get the elapse time for execution of a Query for a session?
Example - I have a report based on the procedure ,when the user execute that it takes say 3 min. to return rows.
Is there any possible way to capture this session info. for this particular execution of query along with it's execution elapse time?

You can use the dbms_utility.get_time tool (gives binary_integer type value).
1/ Initialize you time and date of beginning :
v_beginTime := dbms_utility.get_time ;
2/ Run you procedure...
3/ Get end-time with :
v_endTime := dbms_utility.get_time ;
4/ Thus, calculate elapsed time by difference :
v_elapsTime := v_endTime - v_beginTime ;
This will give you time elapsed in of 100th of seconds...
Then you can format you result to give correct print time.

I have defined a new web item but I can't retrieved parameter of my webitem in the RENDER method for instance. I have declared a parameter in the RSRRENDERATR table like this :

How can I do this ? How can I get the MY_PARAM value in the RENDER method ?

I have a JTextField added as an editor to a cell in JTable.
I value gets changed when I press enter.
but in actionPerformed of the JTextField when I say

I guess, your understanding of how JTable works together with its models is not good enough - for example the method getTableCellEditorComponent(...) of the TableCellEditor interface is used to get the component, that should be used as editing component - its second parameter is a value that should be used to setup the editing component - it is normally not the editing component itself.
JTable uses an underlying TableModel to store the cell values - if you have edited a cell, JTable gets the value of the editing component by itself and stores it in the TableModel using its setValueAt(...) method. To retrieve this data you only need to query the TableModel using row and column of this cell as parameters
say jt is your JTable, and row and column are the row and column of the cell - so to get the value, simply use
Object obj = jt.getModel().getValueAt(row,column);
if you know, that there is a String in this cell use
String str = (String) jt.getModel().getValueAt(row,column);
The editor component is used for the view of the JTable - you only want the data, which is stored in the model - you don't have to deal with the GUI components in this case.

How can I get the "Open" and "Save As" dialog boxes to open at larger than their default size? I would like them to open at the size they were previously resized like they used to in previous operating systems. They currently open at a very small size and the first colum is only a few letters wide necessitating a resize practically every time one wants to use it. Any help would be appreciated.

You can expose the APIs in the Non-SAP backend as Web Services, and consume them in SAP by creating an Enterprise Proxy. Then these can be called just like normal class methods from Web Dynpro.

Are you wanting actual URL or just the url (query string
variables)?
For url variables you would reference the structure.variable
name like so:
#url.variablename#
So if you had a url like this:

You could access the variables like so:

If you are wanting to actual page you could use:
#cgi.script_name#

Adding the AD group into the win ad authentication configuration page creates the user group but the members of the group aren't being pulled in when I go to the group and select / query the users tab

By default the setting for update options on the Windows AD tab of authentication does not actually create the aliases until the user attempts to login the first time. We set it this way to prevent a huge group of alias's being created when the administrator sets up Windows AD and also so that only user aliases for users actually using the system get created. You can change this behaviour though if you like. Simply change the radio button option to 'New Aliases will be added and new users will be created' this will create the accounts for you when you hit the update button. If you have a large group your adding I would wait until and afterhours time when you have less activity as this will impact CMS performance while it creates all the accounts.

but, how can i get the password without encryption in the v$XXXXX tables. Is there any dynamic table which stores the statement executed above in the current session, so that I can get the original password given.

I would hope there is no way to get this data. I wouldn't want a mechanism to grab passwords out of the SGA. Passwords are stored encrypted in the database. If you need to know the password, run another 'alter user username identified by password' and make not of what you changed it to.

reg is a command line tool in windows that allows you to query the registry. You can use it to query any part of the windows registry. Once you know what query string you will need to query the entry you want, you can use ProcessBuilder to build the command line command you want to run. In your Java code, you will then need to run an external application (reg) with its arguments. ProcessBuilder is a class which makes this task easier.

Unless I have misunderstood your question, a 'connection' and a 'session' are the same thing. When you obtain a database connection, you have created a database session. Once you close that connection, the session dies -- it no longer exists. You cannot obtain the same 'session' when you get another database 'connection' (after you closed the first one).
