How Can I Merge duplicate Lightroom folders

Some how i have TWO folders of Lightroom.
1st is :C>My Pictures>Lightroom
2nd is:C>My Pictures>Lightroom>My Lightroom Photo Library>Lightroom
This folder (My Lightroom Photo Library) is all my picture folders on the Drive
Can I drag and drop from the 2nd into the 1st then delete the "empty" folders.

I think I have similar problem, however, I tried the suggested solution, but received a message saying "folder is already in Lightroom"
To explain - Somehow I seem to have two sets of folders within my Lightroom catalogue which appear to duplicate in part my "My Pictures" folder structure.
Each shows the same total number of images in the top folder.
My images are then split into further folders by year, and then sub-folders by date taken.
The duplication seems to have started from some date in 2009. New folders are imported only to one of my "My Pictures" folder. I do not see them in my "original" My Pictures folder - although they do add to the overall image count.
At the same time, folders prior to the mid-2009 date can be seen in this "new" My Pictures folder , however, although I can view them in Library Mode, when I try to Develop them, Lioghtroom tries to open them, but then shows a message saying "no photo selected" - when I go back to Library mode, the image is no longer there. I can only access these images from my "old" My Pictures folder.
Until recently this anomally, while annoying, was not critical, however as my hard drive is now almost full, I would like to get rid of this duplication, prior to moving all of my files across to a new larger hard drive, along with the catalogue. I tried this by intially copying everything across, temporarily moving my orginal My Pictures on my C Drive, and then opening the copied catalogue in Lightroom - I had hoped then to be able to redirect the catalogue to "My Pictures" on my new external drive, however I then started coming up with the same problem of Lightroom saying that the folders were already in the catalogue. I have reverted to my original catalogue and changed my C Drive My Pictures back to its original location - so I am back to square one.
Can anybody help me, please ?

OK - I figured it out.
1. Go to Media in the Organizer.
2. Click on View at the top, and click on "Show People in Tag Panel."
3. Click on the name you want to merge - the file name you want to get rid of.
4. Edit > Select All
5. Drag the tag you want to use to the selected photos, so that they have both the old and new tags.
6. In the Keyword Tags pane, click on the old tag, go up to where it says "People Tags." There is a plus and minus sign next to this. Click on the minus sign and click on Delete. The tag you highlighted will be deleted.

PSE 6 Missing Photos How Can I merge ALL photos to PSE6?

in all the programs there are photos missing with the (?) or the torn photo image..
in PSE6 when I click on the (?) the program searches and finds the photo quickly BUT I dnt want to do that for thusands of photos.
I WANT to free up space on my hard drive and delete copies of my photos and ran a duplicate photo program which found some photos to have as many as 6 copies most have doubles..
I have 54,000 files of photo duplicates and about 120GB of space taken up.
I am sure that is double the amount of actual photos but as I started to delete the ones with 5-6 duplicates first saving just one copy I realized the
duplicate finder is not perfect...sometimes the one duplicate to be saved is in an odd location compared to the ones it listes as the duplicates.
I have deletd about 5,000 duplicates so far and got back about 10GB of space on my hard drive but I am afraid I am making it harder for the PSE6
to find all the photos. There is a one click button that will highlight ALL the duplicates and delete them in one swoop but I am worried PSE6 will not be able to find them and with just a (?) and a date I have no idea what photo is missing or how to find it.
I just deleted a trial version PSE6 and was finally able to install the one I was given on CD.
but when it loaded hundreds of photos have the (?) and so I opened ALL 3 versions of PE to see if the photos are still on my hard drive or if I deleted
them with this duplicate finder program.
I really just want to have ALL the photos in ONE place and delete the early versions of PSE4 and starter but I am afraid I will be deleting the photos
that are loaded in that catalog....

If you have an iPhone and have it set to keep the normal photo when shooting HDR photos the two image files that are created will be duplicates in a manner of speaking (same image) but the only duplicate finder app that detected the iPhone HDR and normal photos as being duplicates was PhotoSweeper. None of the other apps detected those two files as being duplicates as they look for file name as well as other attributes and the two files from the iPhone have different file names.
iPLM, however, is the best all around iPhoto utility as it can do so much more than just find duplicates. IMO it's a must have tool if using iPhoto.

How can I merge my adobe account with my wife's account. I had been using lightroom since 2011 up to version 4. I wanted to upgrade to version 5 and decided to just go with the Photographers package and I signed up for that. Now I have a conflict since we already have my wife's Creative suite 6 master collection on our PC and when I went to install LR and PS it made me install the Creative Cloud installer. It automatically link to my wife's account so it wont allow me to install LR since that isnt part of the Master Collection. Can I merge these 2 accounts in some way or can I log out of the Creative Clound under her name and log in under mine? I 'm guess I can't just log back and forth and I didn't want to try and mess it up even more.

I decided to change email from gmail to icloud so I setup an icloud email account and now I have two apple id accounts. All my primary information is in the gmail apple id account and i just want to merge the two together. I've tried changing the apple id on the main account to the icloud email, but it says it already exists. How can I merge these two accounts without deleting one or the other?

You can't merge iCloud accounts.
You could move all your calendars contacts etc over from the account you don't want to the one you do, it's not simple but about all I can suggest.

It sounds like your issue here is that iTunes can not find the files for some of the songs you have brought into it. This happens occasionally even if the songs have not been moved from the location that iTunes places them on import or purchase. When you try to use the song, iTunes prompts you to find the file, as you have seen.
To find the file, use the information in this article to navigate through the iTunes media folders -

When I try to sync my itouch with my library I am missing the purchases I made from the other user account. How can I merge these together so i can have everything at once that I have purchased?

Copy or move the song files from one account to a shared location and then drag them into the open iTunes window when logged into the other account.

How can I find duplicate photos withough going through all 5000 one by one? I have numerous duplications and used to be able to click on Edit and Find Duplicates and could clean up all the duplicates easily. Now that option is gone. I still have lots to delete.

I do backup everything using Carbonite.Please don't tell me it is bad, too :-) Also, especially with photo files, I do have other backups of those I am concerned about. Probably not the best in the world, but a log better than many people who I know about.
Again, I really have not seen any problems with MacKeeper. I imagine that if people do not read and follow instructions, they could have problems. For example, it is possible to scan all your files and see them in order of size. If you start deleting things, without knowing what you're deleting, you could cause trouble. Even when the computer scans for so-called junk files, you can look at them and decide for yourself if they are truly junk. I've never seen any that were not.
So, I will look at the complaints anyway to see them. I am open to change, although I hope I do not need to drop Mackeeper as it does things like keeping tracking of applications updates that I need. Please note that I definitely am not a MacKeeper employee or anything close. Just using it and happy with the the results.
I did download the recommend file for finding photo dupes and ran it. There were very few duplicates, in any case, As I said before, the MacKeeper dupe finder was very slow when I ran it over ALL my files. That was a year ago and it did find many non-text dupes.
