How can I prevent my iPhone 5 from being hacked or cloned?

I have had my iPhone 5 hacked! How it's been done I think is by cloning or by some how signing in to my iTunes account as another device but that wouldn't explain how they are using my cell phone network. Verizon says that my phone has connected to other cell towers when I haven't even left my hometown!! So I know it's not my device!! Also my call and data and messaging details are activitys not coming from my cell phone! I notice that when I push the reset buttons in the headphone outlet my phone will run super fast for a few minutes and then go back to super slow!! Also my camera won't work and I can't connect any sound devices to it!! Help!! I pay good money for my cell service and for my new iPhone!!! This has happen to me and I can't seem to prevent it no matter what I try!! I have done factor resets but as soon as I do it it will go right back to hack mode!!

I hand a similar problem with my old Iphone 4. My camera stopped working and internet was really choppy. I took it to the genius bar. They said there was nothing they could do as it was a hardware problem. I told them it happened after a ios update but they said that was most likely not the cause. Then I asked them has my Iphone been hacked they said no like I said it is just a hardware problem and they if I wanted a replacement phone I would have to ask my carrier as I was just out of warrenty. I ended up just waited for the Iphone 5. I would take your phone to genius bar  to see if they can fix it if or a replacement Iphone(assuming it is still in the warrenty period). If genius bar cannot help you could also try your carrier. If you do get a replacement Iphone you should be able to sync some data from your old Iphone to the new one. Also do you have trouble with your Iphone 5 volume adjusting by itself and static sounds from speakers when unlocking Iphone? My Iphone has been having these problems lately.

  • How can I prevent my iPhone from making calls on its own?

I often put my iPhone in my pocket. Sometimes I then discover that it is making calls on its own.
    How can I prevent this?
    Thanks.

Turn on auto lock. I have never had my iPhone once do anything without me doing it.

  • How can I prevent my images from being copied?

This is a perennial question, but the simple answer is that you can't. It's impossible.
Don't believe snake oil adverts for products that claim to prevent images from being copied. Once an image is displayed on a computer, there are numerous ways of copying it. "Solutions" that prevent users from right-clicking or pressing Print Screen can be disabled by turning off JavaScript in the browser; and screen grabbing software can easily make a copy of an image.
If you want to show your photography on the web, but don't want others to steal your images, consider the following options:
Add a watermark to your images.
Embed copyright information in the metadata of your images.
Save images at low resolution (72dpi is standard on the web, but useless for printing).
The following image uses all three techniques:
You can create a Photoshop action to watermark images. Use the File Info dialog box in Bridge CS4 to add copyright metadata to your images.

I asked a question. Hans was kind enough to give me a solution, and for that I thank him! I have also learned a little more in the process!
We have already established that the solution stops people right clicking on an image and saving the image (be it in Windows Explorer or not), but it has also been established that it is by no means a fool proof way of protecting images and that there are other ways of copying images from a webpage. However, it is another level of protection.
Unfortunately, I do not want to watermark my images as I do not like looking as watermarked images myself. I also downsize my images for the web. I was just looking for another level of protection.
    Thanks for the input anyway!

  • How can I prevent my computer from being slow? Why does it go slow when I click anything on my Mac?

My computer is giving me more issues everyday. Its constantly getting slower and slower. I am afraid it will not turn on one day because it barely turns on and off. I can't click anything without waiting a 2 minutes for anything on my dash to load or on my computer in general or even when I'm online.

    Hi Brittany,

Everything that you have checked in your icloud settings will be shared between devices using the same Apple ID.  If you don't want icloud to share that information, then simply turn off that process under settings > icloud

  • How can I prevent deleted mail from ending up in "All Mail"     and "Archives"?  To my horror, I've emptied these boxes and lost all my mail from all my boxes  (and why do I need to enter this question three times?"

How can I prevent deleted mail from ending up in "All Mail" and "Archives"?
To my horror, I emptied these boxes and lost all my mail from all my boxes .
All mail also disappeared from my iPad, I suppose because they are "synched"
(Also, no offense, but why do I need to enter this question multiple times?)
    Thanks for any thoughts.

I'm having a similar but slightly different problem. My company just migrated to Gmail, and it's saving mail drafts every 30 seconds into my Trash folder.
I unchecked the "Show in IMAP" preference in the Gmail settings, but my Drafts folder completely disappeared. I went back and checked it and the folder reappeared (with my drafts still in there).
I like the idea if starting an email on my laptop and having the option of finishing it on my iPhone or iPad, so only saving Drafts locally would not be ideal.

  • How can i prevent my pro from over heating?

How can i prevent my pro from over heating?

Don't use the computer in your lap, or on a blanket or pillow. The case bottom is part of the heat dissipation system so it needs air underneath. If you must use the computer in your lap, get a lapboard. There are cheap, even more so if you make one yourself.
If the computer is a older MBP with silver keys, avoid "clamshell" mode when using an external monitor. Those models let a lot of heat escape through the keyboard. The black-key Unibody versions don't seem to rely so much on the keyboard as a vent.
Like eww said, what feels hot to you may not threaten the computer's well-being. Get a temperature monitoring utility. I like this one:
    http://bresink.com/osx/TemperatureMonitor.html
It runs politely in the background and puts the readout in the menubar:
so you don't have to invoke Dashboard like some other temp monitors require. As Dashboard loads all its widgets as soon as it's invoked, the extra widget processes can run up the temps and you don't get a true average use temp.
If you use Dashboard a lot, those processes stay active after the first launch and can eat processor cycles as well as increase temps. I use DashQuit, a widget that shuts down Dashboard when I'm done without requiring a computer restart. It's here:

  • How can I disable a JInternalFrame from being "restored"?

Sorry, I thought I should start a new thread for a new question.
With my JInternalFrame, I have it minimized initially when it is created. Now, how can I prevent the user from opening or "restoring" that frame? Basically, I just want the "title" bar to appear, and disable the frame from opening up.

  • How can i detach my iphone from my itunes (NOT from my apple ID)

how can i detach my iphone from my itunes (NOT from my apple ID)

    Hello Laurien123,
Can you tell me a little more about your situation?  I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish.   You authorize your computer to sync or download iTunes; you associate your iPhone with your Apple ID, not with iTunes.
Please reply if you can with a little more information, and I'll do what I can to help.
Authorize your computer in iTunes - Apple Support
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201251
Do I need to authorize my iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch?
No. You don’t need to authorize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but you do need to associate your iOS devices with your Apple ID. Your iOS devices don’t use your available authorizations.
    Have a great day!
