How can I print to an hp printer which is not air enabled

I am having trouble finding an app which will enable me to print to my HP All-in-One C7280 printer from the IPad and IPhone. I seem to remember about 6 months ago there was an article in the Telegraph by Rick Maybury which gave details do an app to download, but I can't find it again! Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

Check Printing from Your Apple Device with Non-Web-Enabled Printers (No Apple AirPrint or HP ePrint Support)
AirPrint enables instant printing from iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, and Mac without the need to install drivers or download software. Simply select an AirPrint printer and print. It's that simple. See more about  AirPrint Basic and AirPrint setup and troubleshooting.

How can I print from my ipad air without buying a new "air print" compatable printer? I currently have a HP Photosmart plus B210. Can I make that work?

Although you have posted in a Mavericks forum, implying that you have a Mac computer, your profile doesn't say that you have one. Printer Pro requires the printer to be connected to a Mac.

How can I print Essbase database notes information in Financial reports? As a requirements, I need to print certain database information in reports such as application refresh date/time and data source - from where my database is updated from.

Unfortunately, none of those text functions are going to pull the database note. Hardly anything does other than the add-in.
Maybe the OP could stick that information into an LRO? Then he could use CellText to get the info out.

  • How can I print out all notes?

I have over 200 notes and I would like to print out a copy to keep as a reference. Is it possible to somehow print out all of the notes at once without having to open up each one individually and print them out.

It's not a file, so you can't "open" one file. Every message (and note) is a single file on the computer.
This Applescript will grab all the notes in the selected mailbox (i.e. the selected Notes item in Mail) and put them in a textEdit document.
Note that Mail doesn't differentiate between a note and an email message, so if you run this while a normal email mailbox is selected, it will gather all of your email messages.
    tell application "Mail"
set theMailboxes to the selected mailboxes of message viewer 0
    repeat with aMailbox in theMailboxes
set theNotes to the messages of aMailbox
    set theText to ""
    repeat with aNote in theNotes
set theText to theText & content of aNote & return
    end repeat
    end repeat
    end tell
    tell application "TextEdit"
    set myDocument to make new document at end of documents with properties {text:theText}
    end tell
Copy and paste this into a new AppleScript Editor Document, select the Notes mailboxes you want to print the notes from, and click the Run button (Green button with arrow).
    This may take a while.

  • How can I print out all notes or export the entire file?

I have around 300 notes that include a variety of information. I would like to print out a hard copy. I don't want to open and print out each one individually. • I just bought my first and only apple product yesterday, an iPad mini with retina. How can I print to a non AirPrint enabled printer?

I have heard that unless I have a Mac or newer AirPrint printer, I will not be able to print from my iPad.  This is my first apple product, so I really hope that is not the case, or it may have to go back. I do not want to have to go out and buy a new printer when mine works fine and is only a couple of years old. Please let me know if there is a solution to my problem.

Check the app store for a third party printer application.  Depending on who made your printer, the manufacturer may have an app.  Otherwise, look for a third party app.
Whatever you find won't have the flexibility you would obtain if you had an AirPrint printer.  For example, Epson has an app, but it cannot print from all functions (e.g., mail).

  • How can I transfer a photobook from Iphoto which is not upgradable to my other machine which is a macBook air

I've created several photobooks in Iphoto. when I was about to order I got the message that I had to upgrade Iphoto. Alas in OSX7. Iphoto cannot be upgraded. The disk doesn't have enough space to upgrade to lion first. In addition I have a macbook air. How can I move the products to the airbook with the newer software?
    Thanks
    Winf

Connect the two Macs together (network, firewire target mode, etc) and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old Mac to the pictures folder of the new Mac - launch iPhoto on the new mac and it will open the library and convert it as needed and you will be ready move forward.
However the newer software may or may not support the older book themes and formats

  • How to install printer which is not listed in the software list

I just bought Canon MX372 and I am having a hard time installing it. I have installed the software that came with it and yet I can't add it as printer?
It is always giving me a msg to update the software and when I accept to update it takes a minute and then says software is not available?!!
any idea what is going on?

    Okay.
First, got any third-party login items? If so, disable them (and list here for info).
Got any other third-party software that might impact printing?
    Then try this:
Keep the installer or dmg you just downloaded from Apple if you haven't already trashed it.
If you haven't done so, repair permissions on startup drive and reset PRAM.
Then go to Print & Scan prefs and delete any printers.
Then go to Macintosh HD/Library/Printers. (You will have to enter password to authorize this)
    Restart.
Be sure printer is connected (hard wired, not wireless) and turned on.
Then reinstall Canon drivers downloaded from Apple, restart, and attempt to install printer.

  • HT1947 Lost Apple TV remote, how can I use app if the home sharing is not already enabled?

I lost my Apple TV remote so I can't change the settings on the tv.  Is there a way to use the remote app on my ipad without having the actual hardware remote to program the tv?

The remote app requires home sharing to be enabled and both to be on the same network. Since that's not the case you will have to purchase a new remote.
