How can i reset timer (query)

Question

how can i reset timer if particular job_action will occur within the time period (eg. 7days)
for eg.
dbms_scheduler.create_job(
job_name => 'seven_day_job',
job_type=>'plsql_block',
job_action=>if MIS_REPEAT_COUNT>=1 and MIS_TIMESTAMP=7 days
then reset timer( how coul'd i reset the timer) ;',
start_date=>systimestamp+7,
repeat_interval= freq= hourly,
enabled=>true);
i want that when the if condition is true the timer start again for 7 days

Your seven-day job will only run starting after 7 days since the start_date is set to current_time+7 days and after that it will run every hour.
If you want to reset when the job runs you can modify the start_date of the job
dbms_scheduler.set_attribute('seven_day_job','start_date',sysdate+7) ;
this will reset the job to run next after 7 days.
