How can I skin the TextLayout scrollbar?

I've been searching online for hours about how to skin the scrollbar component thats embedded in the TextLayout component. I'm using Flash CS4 and Actionscript 3. I'm guessing it is very similar to skinning other components, but it doesn't seem to work the same way. Here's one line of code I'm trying:
myTextLayoutComponent.setStyle("thumbUpSkin", "SliderThumbUp");
where "myTextLayoutComponent" is the instance name of the TextLayout component, "thumbUpSkin" is the Style's skin I want to change, and "SliderThumbUp" is the Class name of a MovieClip in my library.
This same code works perfectly with the ComboBox component, UIScrollBar, and similarly with other components.
The documentation has all the skins listed in the "Styles" area, but this code does absolutely nothing. Does anyone have a clue how this can be accomplished? I'm guessing I'm very close, but missing something! I haven't been able to find anything online about skinning this new TextLayout component with ActionScript. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

TLF itself doesn't include a scroll bar, we just have the internal support necessary for scrolling. The scroll bar itself is supplied as part of Flash. If you have picked up the Flash Component for TLF, I think it is rather old now -- it uses a version of TLF that dates from more than a year ago. We have a new version out now that is much better. But it does not come with a component for Flash. I would suggest getting the new version of TLF from the Flex open source at http://opensource.adobe.com/wiki/display/flexsdk/Flex+SDK. You don't have to use Flex to use TLF, its just the best way to get the most up to date version. Then you can use the TLF libraries in Flash, although not with the Flash component. You will have to build your own component in Flash. Alternatively, you could wait for Flash CS5 (see cslaunch.adobe.com), which will have support for TLF.

I'm sorry Myron, I didn't mean to cause your thread to go in the wrong direction. I was feeling a bit frisky after a long day.
Making skin look like something else is not a task I do normally, but if I were to want to experiment I'd probably try things like pasting a section of rock over the top of the skin in question, then set the mixing mode to Luminosity (so that just the luminance of the rock surface is used with the color of the face. Use masking and partial mixing to help blend it.
Seek (or capture) rock imagery with the light coming from the same direction, and with a similar level of detail. That will help make it seem more believable.
There may be others (I hope) who will chime in with more specific instructions or other tricks o' the trade that they've found to work.

From your question, I assume you know how to do it for all persons :
Menu : Enhance/Adjust color/adjust color for skin tones
So what you have to do is to do the color correction on a layer copy. Concentrate on the person to enhance and ignore the rest of the picture.
When you are satisfied, add a mask to the layer copy and fill it with black.
Set your foreground color to white
In the layer palette, click on the mask icon on the right of the layer icon.
Then use a brush to paint white on the skin of the person to reveal the correction.

I have created an AIR app from my RoboHelp v7 WebHelp.
Works and looks quite nice. Great. It's just that it did not use the WebHelp skin I created. It uses some default skin.
How can I customize the skin of my AIR app? When I run the RH Packager for Adobe AIR, I get a dlg box come up, called, "General Options - RoboHelp Packager for Adobe AIR" and it offers me a few default skins, but it does not offer me the skin I made for my WebHelp.
I also heard that if you learn FLEX you might be able to change the skins.

How can I view the Firefox Reading List?

I am running Firefox on Android 2.3.4. I am reading about the Firefox "Reader Mode" [1], which states:
"By tapping the readinglist1 icon, you can add the current page to your reading list (a special folder in your bookmarks list)"
"Note: The reading list folder will not be shown until the first item is added to the list. If all the items in the list are removed, the reading list will be hidden again."
Once I add the current page to my reading list, the screen changes and I am presented with different navigation controls. From here, the documentation says that:
"By tapping the readinglist2 icon, you can display the reading list. "
I have several items in my Reading List. However, I can only see the 'readinglist2' icon when I am viewing a page which has been converted to the Reader Mode. If I browse my bookmarks I do not see a folder for the reading list.
How can I view the items which I added to my "Reading List"?

The portal´s customization does not affect webdynpro applications.

Yep, that's what you get with AIR output. You have to live
with the skins the AIR layout provides. I suppose if you are a FLEX
developer you might be able to change the skins. But it is what it
is.
You might consider submitting a Wish Form to ask the
development team to allow us more flexibility with AIR skins. Or to
even create a way for the AIR app to use elements of the WebHelp
skins.

You change the image using the Skin editor. Click View > Pods > Project Set-up, then expand the Skins folder and double-click the skin you are using for the project.
Select About. then click the Pencil icon and you finally use the file folder icon to browse to and select the image.

Well I'll guess you're using iPhoto 11:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
