How can I store the results of a report in an Oracle table ?

In OBIEE 11g, we need the records resulting from the execution of a report, to be stored in an Oracle table.
Is this possible ?. Thanks.

What I'm wanting to do is not exactly what you're proposing.
What I want is that an end user can run a report and that the results be automatically stored in an Oracle table. Without manual intervention. Other BI products perform this action, and I need to do it with OBIEE. Thanks.

I have successfully created and tested a web service.
I have created a web service process on the page and I can see that it is being run by setting the debug flag.
I want to return the results of this to a page or application item.

Well I'm not storing anything. But the Web service has the information I require.
(So then I will always show the same build number on the java application and the reports application).
We currently have a jsp page which gets the build number and this is displayed on the main application. I need to show the same build number on the apex application, so I thought that since this information is supplied by the web service I may as well call it.
So far, the options appear to be:
i) Change the web service so that it uses parameters (well at least one just for me)
ii) call the web service with JavaScript and parse the response file.

If you want that without code, i suppose there is a option in MS-Access to import data from Excel, so you have to first export to excel and then import to Access.
If you want to code it yourself then have a look at FM TABLE_EXPORT_TO_MSACCESS, as said in Exporting Data from R/3 to MS ACCESS

If you want a total at any group-level, go to the particular group in the data model, insert a summary column in the group, and select
Reset At > appropriate Group Name
For report level summaries, you must create the summary column outside of all groups.

I need to extract these results of my sequence in order to create a custom document automatically, creating an action with LabView that works with these results, without any action of an operator.

you've got several options here, although it seems you might want to go with the first option:
1) After running your sequence, you'll find all the results needed for creating a report on the variable Locals.ResultList, which is an array of objects (of the Result type). You can pass this array to external code for it to use the information (i.e. create a report)
2) You can override the report generation callback on your process model (Test Report callback)and create your own LabVIEW-based report generation sequence/routine
3) You can modify the report generation sequences on the process model to suit your needs (always make backup copies and place your modifications on the /Components/User folder !)
I would also recommend you to assist National Instruments Training Courses, as these things can be seen in detail and provide you a better understanding of all the options TestStand has.

I have one table CXATCMS.Which has 3 columns and has the following data
start_no end_no activity_date

I have to create a report which lists the the specific range.
If the next record's start_no is the immediate next number for the prevoius record's
end_no .....then it has to display all those numbers in a range until it finds a number which is not next immediate number for the previous record's end number.
like for example....if the user wants to see from 1 to 20 range.
then the result must be like this........
start_no end_no
05001000001 05001000002-------there is no 05001000003 number in the
05001000015 05001000020 start numbers so it has to stop its range by this number).

[CS3/CS4 JS] How can you get the associatedXMLElement of a merged cell in a table?

Inserting a table, and autotagging it, I get a table with a number of cell elements in the XML Structure.
Selecting an item in the table, I can find the associated XML by the following line of code:
app.selection[0].associatedXMLElement
My problems begin when cells are merged. Then the associatedXMLElement for the cell returns null.
How can I find the associatedXMLElement for a merged cell?
Using the getElements makes no difference.
app.selection[0].getElements()[0].associatedXMLElement
(returns null)
In the XML structure I can see that the merged cell is still associated to an XML Element, which becomes underlined and also referrs back to the cell, selecting it when double clicking the XML Element link in the structure.
Is there no way to get to the xml element of a merged cell?
I have tested in CS3 and CS4 as well, and they act in the same way.

Adding some more info:
I made a test, by selecting the XMLElement in the structure, and from that object finding the cell, and finding back to the assiciatedXMLElement:
app.selection[0].getElements()[0].cells[0].associatedXMLElement
Result: [object XMLElement]
So that kind of "chain" works.
But with the merged cell as only reference, I can't find its associatedXMLElement. Any ideas would be appreciated.

In my opinion, locate a cell according to his content is not so effortable. What happens if contents of more than two cells are equals?
I take xml elements of associated xml element of table and put them into an array.
This array contains associated xml elements of every cell ordered by cell positions into table.
Now, locate associated xml element of a cell based on its array position (index) is more reliable:

How can I increase the storage capacity in Linux for installing Oracle 11g?

I've been searching in Internet information about how to increase the storage capacity of a Linux machine, so that it can help me with my problem without success. I tried to execute some command lines encountered in some tips in forums, but no one works.
I want to install an Oracle 11g database, which needs 4 GB minimal for the installation. I can not continue with the installation because of this problem.
I use a VMWare virtual machine, which I increased over its settings to 160 GB, but not its file systems or whatever in the machine.
I did this:
[root@localhost ~]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda3 18G 15G 1.9G 89% /
/dev/sda1 190M 12M 169M 7% /boot
none 506M 0 506M 0% /dev/shm

As far I understand the bigger storage capacity is used by the file system /dev/sda3. But what about the rest, I mean the 140 GB?. I've already increased the storage capacity over the settings. How can I tell the machine "please use the remaining 140 GB for the installation of the Oracle DB and other needed installations?.
How can I increase here what?. Disk? File system? Volume Group? It can not be so difficult, can it?
There are no volume groups in the machine:
+[root@localhost /]# vgdisplay+
+No volume groups found+
Linux is too complicated. Unfortunately I have to do that in Linux :-(
Can someone help me? I sit here since long hours without finding a solution :-(

You can address the problem in a number of different ways, but please post your version of Linux and provide more information about your current partitions
The Version of Linux is Linux Red Hat Enterprise 5.
Open Logical Volume Management from the System Administration menu.
Select your volume from the logical view, edit properties and then use the slider to set your volume size, or click "remaining" to extend your partition.
I've already opened the LVM from the System Administration menu, but there is no possibility to see the volume groups, because there is no one. There is no tabs like Volume Groups or something like that...
I would try the procedure described above your answer and write you again. I hope it works...I will write you back in a few minutes...

describe <fs> lines l.
'l' will contain the number of lines as needed.
FYI
The size of this storage area in a field symbols depends on the number of table lines which is not fixed, but determined dynamically at runtime.
