How can I unmake a album?

I am completely new to this Adobe Elements 12 program and should have researched more:  I gathered all my photos and was ready to start organizing.  No photos were highlighted. I chose from the drop-down menus to create a new album.  I typed in a name, clicked Okay, all my photos disappeared and no album shows up under Albums in the left column.  What happened?  How can I reverse this?

If you want to delete an album just right click on the album title and click delete.  If you have an album with nothing in it, your photos didn't transfer.  You can still add to the album but clicking on All Media, all the photos you imported should be there.  If you want to import more photos click on the green cross, next to were it says Albums.  When you have the all media open and see the photos you want to move to the album you can click on the photo, you'll see a blue check in the bottom right corner, and you can drag and drop the photo into the album.  If you have several photos to move to a album, blue check mark the first photo, hold the shift key and click on the last photo ... you can drag and drop all of these photos at once into the album.  Hope this helps
