How can I use Diagnostics Object Model APIs?
Hi.
In the Internet Explorer DevCenter page I could reach a very interesting section about developer APIs. In particular there is a section devoted to the Diagnostics
Object Model API. This is something very cool I think but the problem is that I couldn't find a way to use such APIs.
There are many pages about methods, properties that one can use, but absolutely no page where it is possible to download something or understand how to use these tools. For example consider the DiagnosticsGlobalScope object
used across this API to retrieve references to all methods and other objects for diagnostics: I tried typing it in F12 console, but did not succeeded in getting a reference to a valid object.
How am i supposed to use this API?

Hi Everyone,

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to update list column in SharePoint hosted apps using JavaScript Client Object Model.
Based on the error message, it seems not retrieve the list object in context. I suggest you debug the code step by step using Internet Explorer Developer Tools to
find the problem.

We all know that business object has been part of sap products.
But even though in SAP, I really don't know much about business object.
and how can we use the great function of BO and integrate into our development to make
user have much better function and user experience.

Aaron.One of the main ways that you can integrate some Business Objects content with WDA is via FlashIslands. If you are on 7.01 or higher, you have the option to use FlashIslands UI element. There are many tutorials on FlashIslands available on SDN. FlashIslands work well with Xcelsius content, since the output of Xcelsius is a Flex component. It is pretty easy to set the Xcelsius interface to External Connection and then write a wrapper Flex Component around the generated output, so that it can be used in the FlashIslands interface.
For Crystal Reports integration you will need NetWeaver 7.02 (comming early next year). We have integrated Crystal Reports as an output option in the Web Dynpro ABAP ALV and the Classic Dynpro ALV. You don't need to do any development to enable this. You can use two different SAP delivered Crystal Reports templates for the ALV output, or create and add your own templates.
Some of ther BOBJ integration is still in prototype and demo phase within SAP. For instance we have a data interface to send data to Explorer onDemand from any ABAP application. We have a prototype FlashIsland for WebI to run in place within Web Dynpro ABAP. Over future enhancement packages you will see increased integration opportunties with the BOBJ capabilites. -

the ADF JavaScript API is not meant for you to create JSF components on the fly. For this you please use teh ADF Facesserver side components.
The RichInputText component is defined by a pair of components, the AdfRichInputText and its Peer component. I don't know what your usecase is, but my impression is you are looking at it from the wrong end

Besides, the data server control is single threaded and would not be a good candidate for web apps..As a research project internally, we created an ASP demo that uses web services to talk to Essbase Deployment Services (Java API).. Understanding Passivation of Entity Beans
Entity beans that are involved in transactions can be passivated when necessary in order to attempt to prevent a CacheFullException when an attempt is made to insert an entity bean into a cache that is full. Passivation is handled automatically by the EJB container and you do not need to change the way you program EJBs in order to take advantage of this feature. However, you can optionally program your EJBs to communicate to the cache that they are done performing all operations in the current transaction. The cache can then make use of this information when evaluating beans for the possibility of passivation.
To optionally program EJBs to notify their cache that they are done performing operations in the current transaction, you can use the operationsComplete Java API as follows:

in WAS ABAP.. if you go to SPAM.. and select imported support packages and click display..
You will see list of components.. some of the components you might see at same level and some follow different paths...
ex:
SAP_OCS - > SPAM/SAINT UPDATE 24
SAP_BASIS -> Support pacakage 13 for 7.0
SAP_ABAP-> Support pacakge 13 for 7.0
and the same way you can find different components in java engine...

You can upgrade each of them by individual support packages.. or you can upgrade stack by stack..
stack is collection of supporpt packages...
If you follow stack.. then you can tell that you at NW04S Support stack 10 or 11... if you upgrade by support package always it is collection of versions of different support packs in your system...

Thanks a lot!!Positive feedback? Then please take this in a positive way: if you want to work on persisting Java objects into XML, then GUI programming is irrelevant to that goal. The 1,000 lines of code you posted there appeared to me to have a whole lot of GUI code in it. You should produce a smaller (much smaller) example of what you want to do. Calling the working code from your GUI program should come later.

I am trying to Activate a custom feature using Client Object Model in SharePoint 2010. Here is the code I used. When I execute the code, I got the error "Feature with Id 'xx' is not installed in this farm, and cannot be added to this scope while

When you activate a feature on the site collection, the feature should be scoped to site or farm, the error message shows it cannot find the specific feature, this will happen when you have a feature in web
scope or the feature isn’t installed.
So, to troubleshooting this issue:
Verify whether the feature is scoped to web. Please go to
Site Setting->Site Features . If the feature is a web scope feature, then add the feature to webfeatures.
Make sure the feature is installed correctly.
