I use a Facebook logo and then encourage people to like the page. But I do have a couple of clients who have asked me to do this.

That was helpful, but I'm still having problems.
I've plonked a Facebook logo on the page.
BUT I can't seem to give it a hyperlink to my Facebook page.
When I select the logo and then use the tool bars or the box thingy. It won't allow me to paste in the URL.
It looks a bit ugly having a Facebook logo and the text of the URL beside it.
Is there a way of making the Facebook logo have a hyperlink to its URL so you just click on the logo and it takes you to the facebook page.

How do you add a Facebook "like" button to a Fluid Grid layout?

There are two snippets of javascript from Facebook you're supposed to paste into two different places. Something about the Dreamweaver fluid grid makes it work differently, though, and I can't figure out what it is. I can't figure out what to do with the snippets of code to make the Facebook box/button show up in the browser window.

Here's what the FB page says to paste just after the body tag:

Seems simple enough, but it hasn't appeared on the page in a browser.

In your code find this :

so it will be this :

IWeb and Facebook Share Button

Hi,
I know people have asked about this issue, but I don't seem to be able to decipher any reasonable solutions..
I want to add the Facebook Share button to some of my iWeb pages. To do that I am using the HTML widget.. I know that because it's a widget within the iweb page etc etc it isn't going to work properly.
I read a different post with answers from Cyclosaurus, and he/she was able to look at the facebook code and make a minor adjustment to make it work in iWeb. However, that was a few years old and Facebook have now changed their code.
This is the code that facebook want you to copy and paste:

Does anyone (or hopefully Cyclosaurus if you are reading this), know how to make this work in iweb?

Thanks for that.. I had thought of just having an image and linking etc, but the Facebook share code gives me an option where it will place a counter to show how many people have shared the page etc.. I kind of like that concept for the pages the share button will be on so want to try to get it to work..
I know of the overlapping issue in iWeb that has even happened with simple text boxes and images in the past with my site.. It doesn't happen anymore, not sure what I did to rectify it back when it was happening.. Anyway, the share button is going to be on its own as i'm not wanting to use twitter, plus it's not going to be close to any page borders or other images, boxes etc to cause problems..
I'm still hoping someone out there knows a way to modify the code..

Facebook share button in web gallery

Is it possible somehow to add a facebook share button to the photos in the web gallery? I use the web module to create galleries of athletes - and I want to give them the possibilty to share their photo by clicking in the gallery instead of right click and "save as..."...

How to add a google+ share button to a composition?

I am working on a little app for which I want to add share buttons.
I don't have problems adding Facebook share and Twitter buttons, However I cannot find a way to add a Google+ share button.
For FB I create a rectangle and name it fbBtn. Then on click I add the foolowing code:

This works as expected, but I am having a hard time position the button in the right place on my page. I can see the button in EA, but the position I set it in there is not maintained once the file is published.
Thus, I would like to know how to include the code directly in EA as I am doing with the Twitter and facebook buttons.

Again, this works, although with this code I don't know how to customize the name, description and image for the info I am sharing.
In this case I was able to include the code on EA adding the following to document.compositionReady:

The problem here is that instead of opening a window, it replaces the page with the one supposed to be on a different window, which I don't like.
So, in short, I need some help figuring out how to include the code directly in EA for the first method for Google+.

I don't have an answer for you, but I do have a question. You said the FB code works. What did you do? What did you put in your html page? I tried the FB code above and it gives me an ID error. iPhoto Preferences > Accounts > click the little plus in the lower left corner and follow the onscreen instructions.

Need help with adding Facebook share button

I need to add a simple Facebook share button in the row of social share buttons at the bottom of the page http://www.ottawapatentagency.com I just need a simple button, I don't need any counts, nor any analytics. I tried to insert the code from the Facebook developers pages and follow the instructions, but I can't do it.
I am neither a Facebook developer nor a programmer, for that matter, help!

Have you created your Facebook share button code from the Facebook resource page below:

Once you have done that copy the code and paste it in your pages code, directly after the opening <body> tag.

How do I add a functional "submit button" to a pdf form in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI ? I created the pdf form in Adobe Forms Central. It's for an online Diet Questionnaire. After people complete the form I'd like them to click "SUBMIT" and the completed form will be emailed to me.

This can be a bit confusing because Acrobat 11 comes with the desktop app that allows you to create simple PDF forms without having a FormsCentral account. Some people find this helpful, but you need to understand that when you generate the PDF form, it is Reader-enabled by Acrobat. In order to edit the form further in Acrobat, you have to create a non-enabled copy of the form. You do this in Acrobat by opening the form and selecting: File > Save a Copy
and opening the copy. It is not opened automatically.
You can now add a button and set it up to submit by email, either using a "Submit a form" action or the submitForm JavaScript method. You can set it up to include just the form data or the entire PDF, and will want to use a mailto type URL. Submitting the form to the FormsCentral server has a number of important advantages over email (much more reliable, more secure, etc.), so you might want to consider it.
If the form needs to be saved with Reader versions prior to 11, then you will need to Reader-enable the document. In Acrobat 11 you do this by selecting: File > Save As Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools
