How do i add cents to a $amount in a table?

i am trying to create an invoice in numbers and the table is set to round up and doesn't allow for decimals. How do I fix this?

If you are using Numbers for iOS and you want the cell formatted as currency, tap the cell, then the Format paint brush, then the circled i next to currency and change the number by Decimals.
On the Mac, click the cell(s), then the Format paint brush, the Cell tab and change the number in the Decimals box.

How can I add a new column in compress partition table.

I have a compress partition table when I add a new column in that table it give me an error "ORA-22856: CANNOT ADD COLUMNS TO OBJECT TABLES". I had cretaed a table in this clause. How can I add a new column in compress partition table.

When I create table with this clause it will allow me to add a column.

I guess, you are using Oracle 9i Database Release 9.2.0.2 and the Table which you need to alter is in OLTP environment where data is usually inserted using regular inserts. As a result, these tables generally do not get much benefit from using table compression. Table compression works best on read-only tables that are loaded once but read many times. Tables used in data warehousing applications, for example, are great candidates for table compression.

Much easier with a toolkit but you could use ADO objects,
get connection, make a SQL object "INSERT record INTO table where ...."
Execute the parameterized query
Free up record sets data
close connection when done.

How can I add footnotes to a text in a table?

To make use of a wider margin next to longer texts I usually work with two column tables in WORD. No problem to add footnotes to a text there.
How can I add footnotes to text in a table when using PAGES?
Or -alternatively - how can I write an ordinary text that has still a wider margin into which you can add annotations, notes etc.?

Footnotes doesn't work for tables in Pages. You can create columns in Pages. You can use Insert column break to being able to keep some text in one column and some in the other. Foot notes will work here.

I need to add 3 columns to a table using SQL
the syntax
"ALTER TABLE TEST ADD COLUMN newcol1 float";
works fine - for adding one coumn only.
For multiple columns I tried various permutations along the lines of
"ALTER TABLE TEST ADD (COLUMN newcol01 float, COLUMN new2 float,COLUMN new3 float)";
"ALTER TABLE TIPSTEST ADD COLUMN new1 float"
"ALTER TABLE TIPSTEST ADD COLUMN new2 float"
"ALTER TABLE TIPSTEST ADD COLUMN new3 float"
etc., but this doesn't work.
From a web search it sounds like SQL can only add one column at a time.
I have a workaround : create intermediate temporary tables , copying data and adding
one column at each stage. It seems a fairly awkward way of programming though.
Am I missing something simple : is there a way to add multiple columns in one go?

OK : solved an underlying problem with this one myself

i've an existing table, for instance User Profile table, it consists of few tab in the table which contains different data... recently i've added new tab to the existing table and i would like to upload a particular data for this new tab... is there any way to upload (insert new data for the tab on existing data) this particular data into the existing table from Excel file?
could it be done by using lsmw?

How can I add particluar column(s) to an internal table dynamically and then display in an alv.
for eg:
There are 5 columns and the 4th column is the period (1 to 12) that has been declared as select-options in the selection screen.
col1 = bukrs
col2 = lifnr
col3 = akont
col4 = period
col5 = waers
so my question is
if period is in the range from 1 to 3 then the internal table should be
bukrs lifnr akont period1 period2 period 3 waers.
likewise if the period is in the range from 1 to n then internal table should be

Sir i'm using daq6251.But Sir before implimenting it to my final application now i'm just trying to achieve 1millisecond time interval for timer in a vary simple programe i mean at this time no hardware (daq device) is involved i,m just trying to achieve minimum time interval of 1millisecond.
Sir i read form "help" of labwindows how this time interval can be set,i'm trying for,as described in help notes but i could'nt.I'm attaching a screen shot sir for you it may helpful for you to explain me.

First in the MARA table the Search Help(MAT1) for matnr is selected and viewed.
In the included search helps tab of MAT1 there is another search help MAT1_A.
For that search help in the included u201Csearch helpu201D tab view is selected .
Inside that there is a search help called MAT1_A_APPEND.
Then in the included search help tab of MAT1_A_APPEND, the customized search helps can be attached.
