How to make custom append search help tab default for all users?

I've implemented my own search help append and I need to make the F4 search help to display my tab as default for all users. I know that search help stores the last tab used by the user in memory and when user uses the search help next time the last used tab is displayed but I have to make the system display the tab od my search help append always as default tab. Any idea how to do it?

How to set up Windows with Reader and certificate for all users

Good afternoon (GMT),
we're dealing with a Win XP (SP3) system that is set up by an Administrator. One task is to set up the system in a way that all users (w/o admin rights) become able to read a certified-protected PDF. Currently we know a way to install the "public key" for this certificate only for one known user. But how to proceed when not all users are known? The users shall later on never be asked to confirm the certification installation/registration.
If it helps, here is the software version:
Acrobat 8.12 to encrypt the PDF via certification. In near future I will switch to Acrobat 9.x
Reader 7.x and/or 8.x on customer PCs.
Thank you for ideas and hints.
BTW: Next time we want to provide a solution for Win7 systems, too.

How can I add the extra fields to a datasource usign "User Exist"?

I have a quesiton on an extractor.
I want to extend fields for an extractor, and the additional fields come from a third table (for the extractor, there is a view which 2 Tabels inner join.) The third table should have LEFT OUTER JOIN relation to the other 2 tables. So I have to use "User Exist" to add the fields from the third table to my data source.
How can I do it via user exist?

My husband and I are both official members of the geezer set and have been out of the work force for some years. You really do pick up so much just by being in the environment where people are using things to get work done. A couple of old MP3 players, PPC G5, and a vintage Inspiron 3800 that someone didn't want any more is about it. No cell phone, no iPod, no iPad, no home wireless network, no streaming media. Fixed income. So we do with what we can as long as we can. If we could get by without that Intel processor, we'd probably make do with what we've got. On the other hand, we've really wanted a notebook for a very long time and have to admit that needing to upgrade to accomodate my husband's project is pretty much just the "reason" we need. I really mean it when I say that we are beyond appreciative that users take the time to share info and patiently educate those of us who fall into the "slow tech" category.

It seemed to work well until I updagraded from Windows 8 to 8.1 (free upgrade).

My default font size is set at 18px. Is this the default default font size for all users of ff 3.6+?

I was developing a site in ff when I noticed other browsers were rendering the font size smaller than in firefox. Upon investigation I discovered that my ff 3.6 default font was Adobe Caslon Pro Bold 18px.
I have never deliberately set this. My understanding was that all browsers default default font size was 16px.
Has ff default font size changed from 16px to 18px?

William is correct. There are global system settings, and then there are personal user settings. Adding a shortcut to the desktop, or more commonly the Dock is a personal setting.
Unless its in some kind of mass deployment scenario where you can create a pre programed image for large amounts of computers which has it already has your app shortcut setup, its easier to just do it one user at a time.

You could create the shortcut at one machine, then copy it to the target as part of the logon script. Note also that this line contains an error:
"C:\Users\%userprofile%\Desktop\Org_chart_test.lnk"
It should read:
"%userprofile%\Desktop\Org_chart_test.lnk"
