Every time I open itunes I have to put in my password, I also have to enter my password to access the store, my account etc even though I have already entered it on openening the programme - it is extremely annoying!! I'm sure there must be a way to change the password settings but I can't seem to find how! Any help would be much appreciated!

In Settings, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Select the account for which you wish to change the settings.
Select Advanced, located at the bottom of the list.

Press the Home button to return to the Home screen.
However, I don't have an Advanced option. When I go into Accounts and select Hotmail -> Account, it only shows me my email address, password, description and a S/MIME option.

Try this: make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

I have an email account from my work server that i have set up as a pop account in Mail. The problem is that the settings have recently been changed on the server and on other accounts but I cant find the same options in the preferences of mail.
What I need to change is requiring authentication on the outgoing mail server (smtp) of username and password. I can find no checkox in preferences enabling this. Our internet provider suggested creating a new account, as in account setup it is possible to check a box for requiring authentication.
If at all possible i would like to keep my existing account.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how i can do this?

In Mail, Preferences>Accounts. Select the account in question. At the bottom of the pane on the right of the list of accounts you will see 'Outgoing mail server (SMTP)' where your server details can be entered: underneath this is a button called 'server settings'. Click on this and you can set 'Authentication' to 'password' if neccesary, and enter/change the password for outgoing mail.

I found two files called AdobeDreamweaverSettingsPrefs (.xml and.tmp)
I removed them , emptied trash and restarted dreamweaver but the font stacks are sill missing.

Currently I can't just OPEN a PDF file I must save it and then I can access it. It once got saved accidentally to automatically save instead of opening straight. In some cases though it cannot be viewed this way. How do change it to open straight?
