  • How can i get a free digital download for the Logic express 9 DVD version

    I recently bought an new Imac. There is no dvd player. What gets me frustrated is that i own almost all Apple products, but i can't seem to get my DVD version of Logic Express on my new imac. I tried to share the dvd drive of my macbook pro, but that doesnot work with copy protected software. So i can't install from that external dvd drive.
    So now i have a:
    Iphone
    Ipad mini
    Macbook pro
    Imac
    and ik can't use my officially purchased version of Logic. Microsoft offers a free digital download for registered version of Office for Mac. Is er there also a free digital download for Logic Express? Anybody?

  • How do I re-enable option to check for updates in Acrobat 11?

    I had this till the time I was using Acrobat 10.xx until couple weeks back - recently purchased a license for version XI and the deployment was streamed to my computer by my company's IT department through Microsoft Software Centre. After the upgrade I don't see the option to check for upgrades under any menu. I have tried a re-install and a repair as well, but to no avail. How can I re-enable the option to check for updates?

  • Form designing for compatibility between Acrobat Reader 7 and Acrobat Professional

    I have designed a Form using LiveCycle Designer 7.0. It contains a few subforms and lot of javascripting. One of the javascript logic I am using is to display a subform when a user clicks a radio button and hide it when the user clicks another radio button. The subform contains Text field, Numeric field, Rectangle, Line, Button. This worked well with Acrobat Reader 7.
    After I installed Acrobat Professional 7, my form breaks. I did a quick test to see where it breaks and came out with the following conclusion.
    1. If the subForm contains an Image, Line, Rectangle or Circle control, the subForm rendering throws error (Adobe Acrobat 7.0 has encountered a problem and needs to close) when I click on the radio button to display the subform.
    2. If the subForm contains Text control, it is displayed even if subform is invisible.
    3. If the subForm contains Checkbox, Radio, Dropdown list, List Box, Button, Submit By Email, Submit, Print Form, Reset Form; these controls are never displayed even if subform is visible.
    Has anyone encountered a similar issue?

    I need some clarification. When you say 7.0.5 version, are you expecting 7.0.5 version of Reader or Professional?
    Here's the steps I followed:
    I originally had Adobe Designer version 7, 0, 041126, 0 and Acrobat Reader 7.0.5 and everything worked great.
    Now I have uninstalled Designer and Reader and installed
    Acrobat Professional Tryout. This installs Acrobat Professional version 7.0.0 and Adobe Designer version 7, 0, 041126, 0 (which is the same as above). Now the same forms which were working earlier are not working as expected.
    Please note that I have NOT installed Acrobat Reader 7.0.5. How do I find out what version of Reader does Designer user for PDF preview?
    If I separately download Acrobat Reader 7.0.5, how do I tell Designer to use that version for PDF preview?

  • How to set an 'alert'  or reminder message for end-user Acrobat X form.

    Hi,
    I'm trying to see if I can add an alert or reminder message for the end user who will be filling in a form that I'm creating from Acrobat Pro X.
    Does it require a script if so, could anyone share one that is already exists?
    If it doesn't need a script, how can I set that up?
    What I want to do, is to remind end-user to fill in Numbers Only and not text.  I have already set my properties for numbers only and provided an example. But, In-case end users did not understand, I'd like to have a message for them to say that they must type in number and not text.
    Currently, with the limitation I've made, they couldn't type in any letters but, they might be frustrated and not fill in anything!

    Is it correct to put that code under VALIDATE > run custome validate script, within the Properties box?
    Because I tried it, and it worked only AFTER I typed a number onto the field.
    Since my goal is to have the alert BEFORE, so if someone typed in a text, they should see the alert and correct themselves to type in a number instead.
    Please clarify.

  • How to take main H drives off line for upgrade

    Hello All,
    I am in the middle of upgrading and moving internal Hard drives around. I have my internal G5 drives mirrored together but I am adding external hdrives edata on an external box.
    Before I physically remove the internal hdrives I think it would be wise to take them offline. All of my data is backed up and I am ready to remove the internal drives.
    How do I take the internal RAID drives offline so that I can remove the RAID and begin the physical moving of drives ??

    Hi Dick Barrett 2-
    If it is a startup disk or RAID, you must start from another drive, either optical or external hard. Drag the icons of the drive (s) to the trash and they will be unmounted.
    You can also do this via Disk Utility.
    If it is not a startup drive, simply dragging the icon to the trash will unmount it.
    You can also shut everything down, open up the Mac and disconnect the hard drive before powering back up.

       Select Macintosh HD and click  “Sweep Selected Drive” at the bottom.
       Be careful. Delete only the files that can be safely  deleted. If you are not sure about any file, don’t touch it.
    8. Move iTunes, iPhoto and iMovie media folders to an external drive.

    Adobe Lifecycle designer for interactive forms comes as a bundle with the Netweaver installation.
    its integrated with Netweaver itself.
    my netweaver version # is 2.0.16
    then you put a UI element called "interactive form" on your dynpro layout.
    when you goto...
    Interactive form -> Edit...
    it takes you to the Adobe Lifecycle designer... where you can design your interactive form.

      1. Created a table and store the xml into the table with the following query:

    Properties dialog box and select Server name and database name from the drop down list.
      5. For a shared data source, verify that Use shared data source reference is selected, then select a data source from the drop down list.
      6. Right-click DataSets and click Add Dataset, type a name for the dataset or accept the default name, In Data source, select the name of an existing shared data source, select StoredProcedure in Query type, then select xml_report from stored procedure

      7. In the Toolbox, click Table, and then click on the design surface.

    Adobe will only let you upgrade to the latest Acrobat DC .If you prefer to upgrade to that ,you can refer the following link .
