How do I create a line that is established through two Point values?

I'm given a number of fields and methods that must be used to establish a line that crosses through two Point values. This is a bit confusing because Point is also a class in the API, so I'm not sure where to begin with the given attributes and operations I have at hand:

I'm having a couple of problems: 1) if I put the network lines on the map it looks too flat so I think I need to apply them to a slightly larger invisible sphere; 2) when I add a blur/outer glow to the lines they do not wrap cleanly on the sphere, they kind of break up and distort. Plain lines do not seem to have this problem but objects with effects do.
Any tips on how to do this? Thanks!

I'm sure the lines in your examples were drawn individually with the pen tool but for the lines below the sphere in the second example you can use the arc tool and draw a bunch of random lines with it in one go if you hold the ~ key on your keyboard when you drag with the arc tool. this is how I made the lines on the image below in one second, then I used the eraser tool to make the ends uneven and added some glowing dots which I had to duplicate on top of each other to increase the glow.

Convert your Duration values to numerical equivalent using DUR2MINUTES. Chart the values in the converted column, as shown:
Chart 1: Result when cells containig duration values (column C) are selected and charted.
Chart 2: Result for same type of chanrt with same rows of column D are selected.
D2, and filled down: =DUR2MINUTES(C)

How do I create a table that breaks for new pages?

I'm running Pages 5.5.1 on OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 and am having difficulty understanding table behavior.
Scenario 1 - I create a new file and insert a table at the top of the first (blank) page. It automatically is selected for Object Placement>Move With Text. If I add rows to this table, Pages automatically adds a new page and breaks the table so that additional cells appear on the new page. All well and good. If I change the Object Placement to Stay on Page, the second page and those cells disappear.
Scenario 2 - I create a file and first add a few lines to the top of the first page. Then, I insert a table below those lines. It is also automatically selected for Object Placement>Move With Text. When I add rows, the table does not break for the second page, but the entire table jumps to the second page. If I change the Object Placement to Stay on Page, I can then slide the table back onto page one, but as in Scenario 1 the portion of the table which would continue onto page two disappears.
So, how do I create a table that I can add to a page which is not blank (as in Scenario 2) which will break automatically onto page 2 instead of jumping, and so the rows appear on page two (not disappear as I describe above)?

The inline table is supposed to break but like most things Pages 5 it is buggy and erratic in its behavior.

Adobe Photoshop: how to create cut lines on landscape letter for two 5 by 7 in images?

adobe photoshop: how do i create cutting lines in adobe photoshop if my document is landscape 8.5 by 11 inches and the image are two side by side 5 by 7 in (so appearing 10 inches wides, 7 inch height)... so basically this leaves a 0.5 border top/bottom/left right....i need corner crop marks and a little line in the middle top and bottom (in the crop area) to designate where to cut the 10 inches into 2, creating my two 5 by 7 inches for each image... my guidlines are perfectly aligned, i just need to know how to make cut lines out of my guidelines except in the middle

What I use to do years ago, before most apps had auto crop marks. Was create the guidelines for the margin. Use a line tool, pen tool, etc. and create a line that goes from the guidelines where they meet each other and draw outwards to the edge of the page. Because the line is on the guideline, it snapped to it, making it a straight line. Repeated for the same corner drawing the other direction. (In other words, if I was doing the top left corner, I would draw out to the left, then repeat to draw out to the top of the page).
Group the two line, copy and flip to snap it to the next corner and repeat until all four corners of the page are done.
But if you have a postscript printer, acrobat pro, adober illustrator or adobe indesign, they will generate the crop marks for you.
tip: Do the above while creating an action and your done for the next time. Just run the action. But I reccomend that you set the rules to percentages when creating the guidelines, that way, it can work on more than one image size.

Now i have been trying to work on this for a while now and what i want to do should be simple but its apparently not.
Here is an example of what i want to happen.
I will have 2 tabs: Contact | Sales
Now Contacts will have the list of names and various information about a customer, While Sales will have one drop-down box for each Cell Row that will show the names of the person in tab contacts
for what i am wanting to do i cant use the data format pop-up menu because the list is edited everyday several times a day.
Now how do i do this, Excel can do this so how can numbers do it?

If you are talking about a RULE then the "Perform the following actions:" would be to select "Move Message" to mailbox "Junk" instead of "Delete Message."

There are two things we use the name "Slideshow" for in Aperture: a Slideshow Album, used for making Slideshows, and the Slideshow that is made. (Imho, it is a design mistake to not call the containers used to create Slideshows, Books, etc., "Albums".)
The Slideshow will use the Album Pick from any Stack. A good way to use Aperture is to promote the Image you want to regularly use (such as, for example, a Version with adjustments) to the top of the Stack. This makes it the Stack Pick, and will be the default Album Pick. If you haven't done that, you can still change the Album Pick for any Stack in a Slideshow Album. Expand your Stack(s), select the Image in each Stack that you want to be the Album Pick (and thus shown in the Slideshow), and "Stacks➞Set Album Pick". (Note the keyboard shortcut; there is also a Toolbar icon for this.) The change is immediate. The Slideshow will always show the Album Pick (or, if there is not one, the Stack Pick) for every Stack in your Slideshow Album.

I have tried to use the simple image widget with maximize upon tap/click - however I am can only size the image really small and put on the page. Have yiu tried the PopOver widget? You can drop an image into it, maximise the image and the widgets window...But, you cannot get it full screen.
With iBooks Author, you either learn to use what is available within the app, or look online for third party widgets to purchase which suit your project.

You want a "Drop Box" style folder. You should be able to achieve this by creating a folder and giving it permissions similar to the "Drop Box" folder in your users Public Folder (i.e. write only permissions.)

A cursor is source code (SQL or anonymous PL/SQL block) that has been compiled into an executable program. The execution plan (see the EXPLAIN PLAN SQL command) describes the structure of this program and how it will be executed.
When you fetch data from a cursor, you are receiving the output of this executable program known as a cursor.
So as the other respondents explained in this thread, you need to create SQL source code that joins tables. Then you send this SQL to the server, where it is parsed and compiled into a cursor in the database's Shared Pool (together with all other SQLs that the database received - all SQLs are compiled as cursors).
Once this is done, you can open the cursor (execute the cursor program) and fetch data from it.
