How do I get all of my favorites, transferred from IE11 to display when I select "favorites", instead of opening them as tabs?

I have transferred them over but when I select them, only a partial list is displayed. I can open them all as tabs but that is not satisfactory to me. I could see them all with IE11.

If there are problems with importing the IE Favorites in Firefox then export the favorites in IE to an HTML file and import that file in the Firefox Bookmarks Manager.
If you do not have the menu bar in IE then right-click the toolbar at the top or hold down the alt key to display the Menu Bar.

You can use your backup to populate the iTunes library on your new computer. If you havn't bothered maintaining a backup then apps can be re-downloaded from the app store for free (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519), but media (music/films/tv shows) can only be downloaded once from iTunes (which is one reason why you are advised to make a backup). Purchases made on the iPhone can be transferred off it via File > Transfer Purchases. It's possible, if you do a search on google, that you might find utilities that can help you copy the contents of your iPhone.
You will also find a search box on the right hand side of this window where you can search for similar threads to yours, and which might have more info in them.

Sorry, Firefox 4.0 is driving me nuts in many ways, this is just one of them.

When I select a link to open in new tab or even just to open the page that opens is not what I choose. Istead I get random sites

I'm not an iCloud user (or different type of "in the cloud" user) but you need the songs on the iPod Touch to play offline. If its in the cloud, i think you need to be connected to listen.

How do I get to my music I transferred from CD's that are in the cloud

I recently purchased and IPod touch. During set up I selected to have backup in the cloud. I had a lot of music that was downloaded off of CD's onto my IPod Classic but are not showing up on my IPod touch. The only music available on my IPod touch is music I purchased through the ITunes Store. I really want to be able to have access to the songs I downloaded from CD's, as well.
I hope someone can help. I am frustrated

You can't access music not purchased from the iTunes store (such as from your CDs) unless you subscribe to iTunes Match (see http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/). If you subscribe to iTunes Match from iTunes on your computer, your entire iTunes library (up to 25,000 songs not purchased from the iTuens store, plus your iTunes store purchases) will be accessible from iCloud. Also, your iPod Classic isn't an iOS device so it can't access or interact with iCloud in any way.

The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases: File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
Certainly you did not reinstall your OS without making sure your backup copy was current.
