How do I get repeat voicemail alerts on my new iphone 3GS? Please help.

I got the new iphone 3GS. Right now, if someone leaves a voicemail it beeps once and that's it. This is fine, except when I am not near my phone when this beep sounds. (I would have to manually check the phone to see if anyone called).
I would like the phone to beep as a reminder that I have a voicemail waiting say every 5 or 10 minutes until I listen to it (or purposely acknowledge there is a vm for me and decide to listen to it later). Can anyone tell me how to set up a "repeat" voicemail alert? (Every phone I have owned has had this).

Both of yall need to go to settings, meassages, send and recieve, scroll down to start new conversation from, and make sure you have different email addresses with a check mark beside it. Right now sounds like they are the same email addresses.

Hey! I plugged my 80 gb ipod classic to my imac, but had to switch it off when itunes hung. The ipod wasn't switching on , and when it did, all the data, including all my songs were deleted. If you have the computer to which the iPhone was last synched, you can restore the iPhone on that computer. That will remove the lock. If not, then you have absolutely no choice but to place the phone into recover mode (search Google for instructoins) and restore the phone as a NEW device.

How do I get my phone out of recovery mode? I deleted and replaced my old lockdown folder and now I cant get it off the recovery screen no matter what I try. I have tried TinyUmbarella, and several other softwares. They all go through the process but when the phone comes back on it is still on the screen that says hook to itunes. When I hook to itunes and try to restore i get a 3194 error which i try to fix also and that doesnt work either. PLEASE HELP.

To restore to the original factory settings (no jbs permitted. sorry.)
- Hold home and power to restart the iPhone
- Have the iPhone plugged in while holding home
- A popup on iTunes will show requesting you to restore your iPhone
- Let go of home and restore your iPhone
- "Restore as a new iPhone" or "Restore from Backup" will show after 15 minutes or less

How do I get around restoring iCloud on a new iPhone with an older iOS than my previous iPhone?

Note that, after you run the update, you'll need to go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings in order to go through the initial setup again, where it offers you the option of restoring from a backup.

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.
