How do I get the paragraph of a text object? (AS)

Hi,
I've used find grep to find some text items in my document and get something like this...
text from character 3947 to character 3949 of text flow id 1662 of document xxx
I want to work with the paragraph and the following paragraph that contains the text found.
How do I do that ? as there seems to be no link between a text item and a paragraph.

You can not remove the Adobe watermark from an export from the tryout, be it an export of a file saved to the computer hard drive
or a burn to disc product.
But, you can remove the Adobe watermark from a project file (.prel) from the tryout. To do that, you open the project file from the tryout
in the purchased version. Then there are two possible scenarios
1. You go to Timeline Menu/Delete Rendered Files - the Adobe watermark is gone
or
2. You do nothing after you open the tryout project file in the purchased Premiere Elements. Many of us, including myself, have found
that opening the tryout project in the purchased program causes the watermark to disappear spontaneously.

How do I get the value of a field object programatically after loading a report

I'm using CR 11.5 and VS2005 in a console application, there is no GUI. I have a report with a page header that has 3 field objects. These field objects, their values change for every record and I want to be able to capture the value of these field objects in code for further processing outside of CR. Is this possible?

I should explain a little more, the information I'm trying to obtain is in the Page Header section of the main report. There are subreports. Basically what I'm trying to put together is a list of how many pages are part of each record, the number of pages fluctuates per records so I need to be able to cycle through. Any other suggestions?

When accessing the fields on the report through the SDK you will only get what database field they are using for data. The internal data collection that is used by the report can be gathered using the rowsetcontroller from the ReportClientDocument.

I have two blocks. The first one (block_control) is a non based block with a text element (EXERCICE). When I go to the second block (block_data) and I want to insert a new record, I need in my record the value of EXERCICE who is in the first block (block_control). How can I get this balue if I want to be able to do an execute_query too on the second block ? Because if I use pre-block or post-block or when-new-record-instance trigger to make the content of EXERCICE follow from block_control to block_data in a hidden field, I can't execute_query.

First , when you want to insert a record in the second block , override the default commit_form processing and create a commit-form trigger which is called by a button to commit your form. The when-button-pressed trigger of this button should be : do_key('commit_form'); . And you create the key-commit trigger on the second block. Inside the key-commit trigger write this :
:second_block.item_name := name_in('block_control_name.exercice');
commit_form;
In this way you get the exercice data into your record.
Secondly, in the post-query trigger of the second block, set the exercice column of the second block to the exercice column of the block_control.
And that's it.

When you are using an object-oriented language, it is helpful if you consider what objects are responsible for what actions. Loose descriptions lead to confusion.

the results from a textarea?Assuming that your "text field" is a Swing text component (and not, say, an HTML text field) then it has a getText() method that returns the contents as a String. If you plan to multiply this by something then you'll want to convert it to an int or a double or maybe a BigInteger or a BigDecimal object. Are we on the right track here?

How can I get the value of a specified object's X and Y coordinates in Xcode, using ApplescriptObjc? I'm hoping for something like:
myObject's currentPosition()

Actually this is straight from basic physics
Assuming that the x and y values you get using that AppleScript/Objective-C code is accurate, to move the object you would do
set x to x + dx * speed
set y to y + dx * speed
with dx and dy being an integer with a value of -1 or 1 which indicates the direction the object is moving. Remember the origin in OS X is the middle of the frame or screen with positive x and y values moving to the upper right quadrant, and negative x and y values moving to the lower left. Your basic Cartesian coordinate system. Speed is also an interger and models the speed of the object.
Once you've set x and y to their new values you would write them back to the object.
This is so I can find how much distance (in pixels) is being travelled when I animate an object to move from one position to another, to apply it to my desired velocity (of pixels per second), to find out how long the object should take to move.
This part has got me stumped.
To make an object move you need to change its x and y coordinates. To get smooth animation you need to change them on a regular schedule at a rate fast enough to avoid jerky motion. Given the refresh rate of most monitors and other factors a rate of 60 times per second gives good results. Between each tick of the clock you change the x and y coordinates by some amount, the size of the amount will model speed. Add a small change and the object moves slowly, add a big amount and the object moves quickly. Keep the amount of change constant and the object will move at a constant speed. Increase (or decrease) the amount of change between each tick and the object will accelerate (or decelerate)

Set myText = myInsertionPoint.ParentStory.Texts.ItemByRange(myStartCharacter, myEndCharacter).Item(1)
...at this point, myText is a range of text from the start of the paragraph to just before the text containing the insertion point.

How can i get the content of JTextArea with out loosing Indentation.

I am developing one mail sending application. I am getting mailid , from address, mail body from one Swing. In one JTextArea i am typing i have typed some matter. When i call the content of JTextArea using
jtx.getText() method, i am getting all the content as one paragraph. That means there is no indentation which was there in TextArea.
Please provide me some solution how can i get the content of JTextArea wiht out loosing indentation.

Well I'll guess you're using iPhoto 11:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

The Properties class is already a subclass of Hashtable. So if you have a Properties object, you already have a Hashtable. So all you need to do is the first part of that:Properties props = new Properties();
InputStream is = new FileInputStream("tivoli.properties");

Delete the broken links in iTunes then look at your purchased list to redownload.
If this happened because you were deleting files from the iTunes folder in Finder, don't. You have to let iTunes do all the deleting and moving or you will end up with broken links.

Since that password is tied to his Apple ID, you will need to contact Apple; as far as I know, it will be a somewhat lengthy procedure and you will need to furnish necessary paperwork (including a death certificate as far as I know). Best to either stop at an Apple store or call them to find out exactly what it is you need to do.
