How do I get to the TABLE data?

Hi all,
I uploaded my client table to the TESTUSER schema. I'm trying to fix a mishap (my next record sequence trigger isn't doing what I expected). When I loaded the data I had a CLIENT_ID column with sequences such as 000001, 000002 .... 000042. When I inserted a record I got the next sequence as 1.
So, my plan was to add a column to my table (PK_ID), and populate it with the correct sequence, then make IT my primary key and run my sequence on that column instead of on the CLIENT_ID column.
Does that sound doable? So I was trying to get to the 'data' and found that in SQL workshop if I browse to tables, then click data I can see partial data but when I click on the link, i get an error. So I thought, ok, I'll just get to the data via SQL developer. So I login to my DB, and open the testuser schema and the table is nowhere to be found?? How do I get to it?
Let me know if what I plan to do will work.
TIA
Marco

OH - by the way - i figured out that I can use the SQL Workshop tab to add a column, use SQL under SQL Workshop to do update statements. As well. so got what I needed.
But, just in case, how do I use SQL Developer to get at my data?
thanks!
Marco

    can u please help me any alternative way to get the table data into a file.You can always dump a query to a file, check these:

    Hi,
    To explain more about my situation.
    Target database has the dump files, where as the source database (cloud) doesn't have access to the target database.
    However, I can request the target DB DBA team to run the par files and provide me the output like a SQL file which I can take and run it in my source database.
    I got the metadata the same way, but is there any way I could get the data from the dump files on the target DB without actually accessing it? My question might sound weird, but please let me know.
    <
    1. export from the source into a dumpfile. You can do this on the source database and then copy the file over to your local database or you can do this from a local database if you have a database link defined on the local database that points to the source database.  In the second case, your dumpfile will be created on your local database.

    You can't. There is no memory card. It uses flash memory that's soldered to the logic board. If you didn't back it up, your data is gone.

    Did you choose the wrong back up? There should be a drop box when you go to "Restore from Back up" in iTunes and your iPhone is plugged in, on the Summary page. Choose the correct back up. If you can't find one, and you still have your device, back up your iPhone 4 again and then choose that back up. Or check for an old iCloud back up if you have one.

  • How can I get extract the data between two cursors on an XY graph

    How can I get extract the data between two cursors on an XY graph

    Well, you say xy graph, so this might be a more complicated problem.
    For a waveform graph it's trivial. Simply get the two cursor indices (property: cursor index) and apply them to array subset of the data. Is that all you need?
    Here's how the above code would look like. using cursor.index instead of cursor.x elimnates the need to include scaling information.
    For an xy graph, there could be multiple segments (e.g. imagine a spiral that passes the desired x range multiple times from both sides). This would neeed significantly more code for a general solution.

  • How to clear the table data at the time of leaving fromt the page

    Hi all,
    I have requirement to clear all the table data on the page. For that i have written code like
    public void clearRunCalcPage(){
    System.out.println("Inside clearRunCalcPage");
    this.getCmProcessView().executeEmptyRowSet();
    this.getCmProcessFiveRecordsView().executeEmptyRowSet();
    But for clearing i don't have any button and i don't have next button also, based on menu navigation i will move from 1 page to another. Here my problem is where can i put this login, i tried with the constructor of the page but that time i am getting errors when i came to the page.
    Can any one suggest me.

    Call a backing bean method on click of the next page and place the below code in the backing bean
              ViewCriteria vc = myView.getViewCriteria("criteriaName");
              vc.setProperty(ViewCriteriaHints.CRITERIA_AUTO_EXECUTE, false);Morgan.

  • I restored my phone but it restored to the only back up i had which was 2 months ago. Now none of the settings i have are up to date on what i had. How do i get all the text messages from that backup up to today?

    I tried to update my phone, but it died so i had to restore it. The only back up i had was from 2 months ago. How do i get all the settings back from that huge gap of me not syncing it?

    Please read before going through with this procedure.
    If you really want your contact back and you did not do another iCloud backap since you deleted some of your contacts, you can do a hard reboot on both devices with iClouded contacts by holding down the home and lock buttons on each of them for 10 seconds ignoring the slide to turn off thing. Make sure you have iCloud contact services off before doing so. You can then go through the whole set up process until you get up to the backup part. You then press to restore from an iCloud backup (make sure you choose the right backup for the right phone). If you didn't make an iCloud backup before the contact incident, you will have to use your two-month-old iTunes backups. Each phone should have their contacts the way they were from your last backup. You then go into Settings>iCloud>and turn off contacts. You then can choose if you want to keep your current contacts or not. Turn this off on both phones just incase you add another iCloud device to the mix later on. Now your contact lists are no longer linked (Caution: side effect may include lack of edit button). You may now add and delete contacts as you please without it happening on your other phone.
    Thank you for choosing Apple.

  • TS1394 how can i get upgrade the ios x v 10.5.8? I purchased an iphone 5 but cannot connect with my macbook 5. I cannot update itune 11 as my ios is not up to date

    how can i get upgrade the ios x v 10.5.8? I purchased an iphone 5 but cannot connect with my macbook 5. I cannot update itune 11 as my ios is not up to date

    Start by checking if you can run Snow Leopard:
    Requirements for OS X 10.6 'Snow Leopard'
    http://support.apple.com/kb/SP575
    OS 10.6 Snow Leopard is once again available from the Apple Store:
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
    and in the UK:
    http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
    but nobody knows for how long it will be available.
    To use iCloud you have to upgrade all the way to Mountain Lion:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4759
    You can also purchase the code to use to download Lion (Lion requires an Intel-based Mac with a Core 2 Duo, i3, i5, i7 or Xeon processor and 2GB of RAM, running the latest version of Snow Leopard), or you can purchase Mountain Lion from the App Store - if you can run that:
    http://www.apple.com/osx/specs/
    When you have installed it, run Software Update to download and install the latest updates for Snow Leopard.

  • How can we get Dynamic columns and data with RTF Templates in BI Publisher

    How can we get Dynamic columns and data with RTf Templates.
    My requirement is :
    create table xxinv_item_pei_taginfo(item_id number,
    Organization_id number,
    item varchar2(4000),
    record_type varchar2(4000),
    record_value CLOB,
    State varchar2(4000));
    insert into xxinv_item_pei_taginfo values( 493991 ,224, '1265-D30', 'USES','fever','TX');
    insert into xxinv_item_pei_taginfo values( 493991 ,224, '1265-D30', 'HOW TO USE','one tablet daily','TX');
    insert into xxinv_item_pei_taginfo values( 493991 ,224, '1265-D30', 'SIDE EFFECTS','XYZ','TX');
    insert into xxinv_item_pei_taginfo values( 493991 ,224, '1265-D30', 'DRUG INTERACTION','ABC','TX');
    insert into xxinv_item_pei_taginfo values( 493991 ,224, '1265-D30', 'OVERDOSE','Go and see doctor','TX');
    insert into xxinv_item_pei_taginfo values( 493991 ,224, '1265-D30', 'NOTES','Take after meal','TX');
    select * from xxinv_item_pei_taginfo;
    Item id Org Id Item Record_type Record_value State
    493991     224     1265-D30     USES     fever     TX
    493991     224     1265-D30     HOW TO USE     one tablet daily     TX

    493991     224     1265-D30     NOTES     Take after meal     TX
    Above is my data
    I have to fetch the record_type from a lookup where I can have any of the record type, sometime USES, HOW TO USE, SIDE EFFECTS and sometimes some other set of record types
    In my report I have to get these record typpes as field name dynamically whichever is available in that lookup and record values against them.
    its a BI Publisher report.
    please suggest

    if you have data in db then you can create xml with needed structure
    and so you can create bip report
    do you have errors or .... ?

  • How can i find out the table hierarchy

    Hi experts,
    I have one doubt. how can i find out the table hierarchy in the particular schema.
    Let me explain my requirement in detail.. In my Database i have nearly 250 table each table have it's own temporary table(for authorization purpose we are maintaining the temporary tables) for each day i have to clear the temporary table data.
    All temporary table connected with each other. i mean all the table having foreign key relationship.. while i attempt the delete the data from the temporary table it showed ORA-02292: integrity constraint  violated - child record found.
    So can any one please tell how can i delete the child table record first and then parent record table record.
    Thanks in advance
    Arun
