How do I increase the maximum number of images I can acquire in a sequence using the IMAQ 1424 with 80 MB of onboard memory and a Duncan Tech camera?

I've increased the maximum number of buffers to higher than I need, but I still cannot acquire more than 139 images with the Duncan Tech digital video camera before I get a memory lock error. Is there any way to increase the number of images I can acquire in a sequence using the IMAQ 1424 with 80MB of onboard memory?

It sounds like you are already bypassing the onboard memory. If you weren't, you would only be able to acquire about 20 images.
If I understand correctly, you do not convert the images until after you acquire them. This means each acquired image is 4.13 MB, and 139 images will take 574 MB of memory. I wouldn't be surprised if that was all the free memory available on a 1 GB machine. The operating system, LabVIEW and any other software running probably take up the rest of the memory. You might want to put your computer on a diet and minimize the number of other programs and utilities running. The only other option I see is getting more memory if possible.
Is there a way that you can reduce the number of images you need to acquire? Pe
rhaps skipping every other frame? Do you really need more than 139 images?
Is it possible to acquire the images in monochrome? That would triple the number of images that you could acquire.

  • What is the maximum number of images that can be imported into flash?

I am not able to import images more than 47 or 48. What is the max. images imported?
As the images are sequence images and I need that to use for interactivity for rotation with Action script. So cudn't import as a swf either.
    Please do let me know.
    Thanks in advance.

You can load the image files into your movie's Library during authoring, or, you can import the image files into your movie at runtime. Either way, your're still using the same memory.
If your movie is designed so that the user will only ever use some of the images, then it may be better to load the files that the user selects at runtime.
In either case, you should optimize the images that you use as much as possible so that you are using the smallest possible file size and still keep the greatest image quality possible.

  • What is the maximum number of addresses that can be sent in a group mailing

Can anyone tell me the maximum number of addresses that can be sent as a group mailing?
    Thanks.

"Does Mail complain when you try to send a message to several recipients at once? You might be surprised to know that Mail actually has no limit on the number of recipients to whom you can send a message! So, what's going on here?
Chances are it's your Internet Service Provider (ISP) that's preventing your message from being sent. Your ISP might do this, for example, to deter folks who send unsolicited bulk commercial email (such as "spam" or "Junk mail") to a large number of addresses.
If this happens to you, contact your ISP and ask them if they enforce a limit on how many recipients each email message can have. If there is a limit, you can either send your message to fewer people, or divide your recipient list into multiple sets and send the same message in batches (each time to a different set of recipients). "
    Brilliant! Thanks.

  • What is the maximum number of columns that can be displayed by sqlplus?

    Hello,
    Questions:
Is there a limit on what sqlplus can display?
What is the maximum number of columns that can be displayed by sqlplus?
I cannot find anything on this in my search. I checked the limits page:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14357/apa.htm#sthref3658
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e16604/apa.htm#i635278
It does not specify any column limits; however, I'm thinking it is tied to LINESIZE which is system dependent.
    Please confirm if true.
    Thanks!

Received answer directly from SQL*Plus Development:
"sqlplus does not have a limit on the number of columns it displays."
They created a table with more than 256 columns with data and had no problem retrieving the data.

  • TS1503 what is the maximum number of pictures I can store and keep on my iPhone 3G?

What is the maximum number of pictures I can store (and keep indefinitely) on my iPhone 3GS (8GB)?

It is a balancing act between your photos and everything else you have on the device (apps, mail, messages, etc.), so there is no specific "number" we can give you. Just keep track of your available memory, and make sure you back up your photos regularly so if you reach the maximum memory capacity, you can delete the oldest ones without worrying that they are not saved somewhere else:

A comma-delimited list of expressions can contain no more than 1000 expressions. A comma-delimited list of sets of expressions can contain any number of sets, but each set can contain no more than 1000 expressions.
The following are some valid expression lists in conditions:
    (10, 20, 40)
    ('SCOTT', 'BLAKE', 'TAYLOR')
    ( ('Guy', 'Himuro', 'GHIMURO'),('Karen', 'Colmenares', 'KCOLMENA') )

i am receiving a message that i have reached the maximum number of messages i can send out today but i have not even sent 5 emails out yet today ?

I'll add that this can happen when snapshotting is used as a backup method. You can set max endpoints to 32 and still see the issue. Please ensure that you're backing up using the supported PowerShell commands: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh202170.aspx
and not just a snapshot of the VM. If raising max endpoints does not resolve the issue, try backing up with the management shell commands within a recurring scheduled task or try http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/office/Backup-script-for-Lync-2013-aacbb9b9
. Then disable the snapshot ting for your front ends, bounce them one at a time, and ensure the data exports you've made are backed up as flat files.

  • What is the maximum number of devices that can be connected with FaceTime?

I have tried to find in theh Apple web pages the maximum number of devices that one can connect to with FaceTime. Specifically, how many iPad2 or iPad (new) devices can connect to each other with FaceTime? What about an older iMac running Mountain Lion with iPads? Or, iPhone4s and iPads? Thanks for any information you can provide.

I don't know of any limit, as long as each device has its own individual identification ( e-mail address, or phone number for iphones)

  • What is the maximum number of samples that can be acquired with a single trigger using PCI-6036E DAQ card?

    1. My PCI-6036E card has a FIFO of 1024 bytes in AI. Maximum how many samples can be acquired with single trigger for digitizing a waveform?
    2. PCI-6036E DAQ card has got a AO with 10ks/s update rate? Can I generate a pulsed output with the AO of this card? I need a pulse of, say, 5 V and 1 kHz frequency.

    Giri,
1.The trigger is usually for enabling the acquisition. I mean, when it is logic zero, you acquire nothing; however, when it is logic one, you start acquiring your waveform, and you can acquire continuously without having to worry about how many samples, unless you want to set your program for doing so. You can acquire continuously by implementing buffer acquisition. Finally, the FIFO that is in the board will not affect the buffer acquisition.
2.Yes, you can do that! You can generate your 5V signal with that specific frequency, and you should not have any problems, because the freq fits in the update rate.
I hope this information is helpful.

  • What's the maximum number of folders you can create?

    Hi folks
I've just got my first iPod - (Nano 5th G, 16 Gb)- so I'n new on the block!
I'm thinking of buying a bird calls DVD designed for MP3 players. One of the requirements is the ability to create 99 folders.
Can this be done on my iPod?
I can't find info on this anywhere!
    I'd appreciate someone's help.
    Regards
    Ian T

I'm thinking of buying a bird calls DVD designed for MP3 players. One of the requirements is the ability to create 99 folders.
Yes but depending on how the DVD works, it's likely won't work as intended on an iPod.
iPods use the iTunes database file to play songs.
Add the songs to iTunes then sync them to the iPod.
Adding folders to the iPod with files in them will not allow them to play on the iPod.
Most MP3 players simply use the folder structure on the player to play/display the songs.

  • What is the maximum number of photos I can share on the cloud

I recently moved to Paris and took over 6000 photos.  I downloaded them to aperture and now they're sitting in separate project boxes. I would like to share these photos with others but I'm having problems going through the iCloud Sharing Process. I believe 5000 is the maximum, but I'm not sure, I only get a few to trickle in to a shared album I create.  I must be doing something wrong here is my procedure:
    1. Select the photos in a project, I don't exceed 1000 photographs.
    2. I right click and choose option iCloud.
    3. Options appear: to name the Shared account, and to add emails of the people I want to have access to these photos ( I also Include myself ).
    4.  I hit enter and it appears to be processing.
    5. within seconds I receive an email asking if I would like to subscribe I click the button to say yes.
    6. BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. THE PHOTOS I HAVE CHOSEN DO NOT APPEAR ON MY iPhone6 in the Shared area. THE TITLE APPEARS BUT I ONLY received a smattering of photos this time only 49 OUT OF 1000.
WHAT TO DO WHAT TO DO.
    PLEASE HELP. THNAK YOU

I believe 5000 is the maximum, but I'm not sure, I only get a few to trickle in to a shared album I create.
There are many upload limits - per day, per hour.
See this: iCloud: My Photo Stream and iCloud Photo Sharing limits
THE PHOTOS I HAVE CHOSEN DO NOT APPEAR ON MY iPhone6 in the Shared area.
Is your iPhone connect dot Wi-Fi? Photo Sharing does not upload over a cellular network, and it will also not upload, if the iPhone is not properly charged.

I have been trying to assign 8 datasets to a non-global zone. Whilst I can create as many as I like using the zonecfg command, when I boot the zone only the first 7 ever get mounted. Running zfs list in the zone also only displays the first 7 datasets.

  • When selecting the camera on 3gs the screen just goes black i can still take a photo using the top volume button but not with the screen please help

    hello there
when selecting the camera on my 3gs the screen goes black and has no responce i can take a picture with the top volume button but cannot see it until i open photos
    please can anyone help
    thankyou andy

Try closing the Camera app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Camera app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Camera app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset (unless this is what you mean by powering off and restarting) : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
