How do I know if PS CS5 has been activated?

How can I tell if PS CS5 has activated itself? If it has can I remove the internet connection from the computor without causing problems with the software?

If you see Deactivate... in the Help menu, it's activated.
I've never had any problems using Photoshop on a computer that's disconnected from the Internet, though to be fair I've never done that for more than a few weeks at a time.

What exactly? Your questions don't make much sense since you failed to provide an explanation what problem you actually have, what program you actually mean and so on. That aside, edu versions are technically not different from the normal programs, just their licensing is different.

Since you are having an issue with syncing to a different apple id. You may want to make sure you are signing in with the correct apple id.

I've also managed to overcome this problem by selecting "Subscription Authorization" in the Alert Category Definition page, and entering SAP_XI_MONITOR as one of the roles.
After that, I am able to see a the alert category defined. By default it's already subscribed, because I'm using the same user - PISUPER.
I saw in another post that the option "Suppress Multiple Alerts of this Rule" should be left unchecked. I tried that, but I still do not see any alerts raised in ALRTDISP.
What did I miss?

I recently upgraded from Firefox 3.6.5 to Firefox 4.0.1 and status updates after pressing "Sync Now" which tell you that data sync is in progress or has finished, have STOPPED appearing. How do I know whether my data has been synced or not?

More specifically even when I click Tools->Sync Now nothing happens. Also when I do a "Reset Sync" via Tools->Options->Firefox Sync, nothing happens. Meaning no progress bar appears indicating that data is being synced or has been synced, as it used to happen in earlier versions of Firefox. Is there a way to know after pressing Sync Now that my data has been synced?

There is no visual representation to show that it has worked or is in progress, but if it fails you get a bar appearing at the bottom of the screen telling you that the sync failed.
If you add the Firefox Sync toolbar button to the toolbar, hovering the mouse over the button will give a tooltip showing the last date/time of the last successful sync. For details of how to add the button see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/how-do-i-customize-toolbars

How do I know when my unlock has been processed?

Sorry for what's probably a dumb question, but I can't find an answer anywhere.
I have an AT&T iPhone 4S, and I recently called them to request an unlock. Since it was on a business account while under contract, they had to submit a request directly to Apple instead of just using the web form. However, they told me that they never received anything from Apple during the process that would indicate that I'll be notified once the request has been approved. So from my understanding, completing the process on my end involves tethering to iTunes and restoring the phone - but how will I know when it's actually time for me to do that?
I should add: I am no longer with AT&T, or in touch with anyone else who is still on the account that I had been part of. So if anyone else on that old account gets notified, I won't know. And since I'm not with AT&T myself, I feel doubtful that they'd let me know.

How do i know when a datagrid has been sorted?

i can figure out what/how a datagrid has been sorted but i can't seem to catch *when* it's been sorted. there's no "sort" event, headerRelease is happening before the sort and CollectionEvent & DataChange aren't firing when sorted. left scratching my head.
any suggestions?

thanks alex, building the test case helped me work out the issue (i think).
test case has creationComplete that builds dummy data ArrayCollection (bindable), refreshes the datagrid dataprovider, then adds the eventListener. if i put the addEventListener call before any of this, it gets ignored.
in the real app, the data is coming in via coldfusion (cf) remoting calls. i was adding the eventListener before any data was returned, guess i'll have to work out something in the result handlers.
timing bits my ankles off again ;-)

I was logged into my Facebook account. My friend started a chat...at least that's what I thought initially. I got suspicious and kept quite. That's when he told me he was a hacker. He will find out about me. Then he started rattling off where I was logged in a while back...where I am now...my telephone number...he said my Mac is with him...all of it....

Thank you so much for your advice. I have now re-set all my passwords to be on the safer side. I have also checked System Preference - Sharing. I ddn't have any sharing services on.
My "friend" is my best friend....we were on Skype earlier. Then he said he was going to sleep. He never logs out from all his accounts. An hour later from his Facebook account I received a chat message "y u online". Pretty innocent and I replied surprised why he was online. Below is some of what this person wrote.....

Just a while when my best friend woke up he was surprised to know all this happened last night as I had text him. His account is hacked for sure. The person wrote my Mac is with him. Do you think he could have hacked my account too? How do I know? How can I know?
