How do I set up analog 0-10 VDC output pulses with varying duty cycles?

I am trying to control a 400 watt laser so that it can pulse on and off within a few milliseconds. The laser controller reads a 0-10 VDC signal, with 0V being 0 watts and 10V being 400 watts. I am using a PCI-6221 DAQ and LabVIEW 8.0.
It seems that all of the examples have square waves that are symmetric about the 0 volt range. I need a square wave that goes from 0-10VDC with different on/off timespans. I would like to have something as follows:
1) 0 seconds = laser off
2) .001 to .002 seconds = laser on at full power
3) .002 to .009 seconds = laser off
4) Repeat steps 2-3 500 times

I ran your code, but was unable to reproduce the problem you are
seeing. I measured the signal in two fashions’. I brought the signal back into
the card (LabVIEW_Square Wave.JPG) and into a benchtop scope (Benchtop
scope_Square Wave.jpg).
I would like to ask that you run the attached code twice. The
first time, please run it with the analog input as ‘Dev1/_ao0_vs_aognd’. This
take the analog output and compares it with the cards AO ground, therefore eliminating
the need for external connections and simply doing internal routing. The second
time, please run it with the analog input as “Dev1/ai1”, and wire your AO
channel to an AI channel. These tests are to ensure that there is not a stray
capacitance in your scope, the probe, etc. Let me know the results (pictures
are always great)

Go to the main iTunes Store page (within iTunes), click on the "Redeem" link on the right side of the page, click "Create Apple ID", and enter in the code from your card when requested. You should be able to create an iTunes Store account for your child without needing a credit card. You'll just need an email address for him/her to create the ID, though it can be a "temporary" one that you don't intend to really be used. You can change the email address to which receipts are sent to an account you really wish to use.

If you haven't set up a mail account, it will probably ask you if you want to set one up, but here's how I do it.
Press command-, and that will take you to preferences.
Up near the top click the "Accounts" tab
Click the plus button that is located at the lower left corner.
Enter your name, email address, and password.
Click enter then click continue
Set the account type to POP or IMAP. Whichever one you want is fine as long as it works with your email service.
Don't change the next security settings. Click continue.
Enter something for the description. Make sure that the "Use Athentication" checkbox is checked. Enter your password and click continue.
Click continue you might have to go through one of the security settings again. Click continue.
An account summary will come up. Click "Take account online". Then click create.
You have added your account to Mail.

I have a 32 GB IPad 2 and ITunes on my Windows computer and just ordered 2-16 GB 4s IPhones for my wife and myself I have 18.5 GB of data on my IPad, but only want to selectively include some of the applications and music on my IPhones. How can I set my Mac to only share SPECIFIC folders with Win7

It used to work, but, even though I have set only my Public folder and a specific photographs folder to share with a Win7 PC on my home network, the Win7 machine can see the entire Mac HD.
I followed instructions from here:

But if I type Run then enter the ip address of the Mac, all the folders appear. Is there a way to limit them to only the two specific folders?
I've mapped the single folder to a drive, so admittedly, unless you go into "Run", you can't see the other Mac folders and drives, but I'd still like to make sure it can't be done.

Hi Jaime,
Are you saying, you are getting junk characters in the email attachment? Then pls check the following. Since you want to send Japanese fonts, please pass language 'J' in both objpack-obj_langu = '3' & doc_chng-obj_langu = '3' instead of '3' please replace it with 'J'.
Another thing which you may have to check is the SCOT device type. As I understand from my basis colleague, this may also affect your attachment fonts since the emails are sent through SCOT. Go to transaction SCOT-> Settings-> Device types for format conversion. Check whether wrong device type is defined for Japanese there. Hope this helps

how do i change the umask on a share i created with SharePoints?
user's drop files into the share and the permissions are set wrong. both the owner and group along with the mode.
how can i set the default permissions given to newly created files by any user? prefably a non-unixish way but i'll take whatever i can get. tried tinkertool but that didn't work.
i read other forums on macfitix which suggested changing the umask. i am not really sure how to convert integer to octal though. the fix needs integer. i dont know how to convert the permissions i need represented in octal to integer.
i also read the manual on the chmod utility which suggested changing the set on write bit to 4000 so that the newly created files inside a directory would inheret the parent owner etc.. in theory this would work for me. i did that, but it didn't make a lick of a difference. said only on supported OSes. i take it os x must not support this.
the permissions i need to set are 664 or read/write for owner and group and read only for everyone else. when the files get dropped right now they default to 600. not really sure how to convert that to integer or octal. apparently the umask equalivant is represented differently but also called octal but i do not understand why.
hope someone can bring some clarity to my confusion.

Try these steps:
- open iTunes
- top left of your mac select "view"
- select "show sidebar"
- connect your iPhone to your Mac
- select your iPhone underneath devices on the sidebar
From here you will need to choose what you would like synced to the iPhone and then from there anytime you connect the iPhone to your Mac it will sync the content you have selected.
Note: The iPhone will not automatically sync if you have prevented this in iTunes<Preferences>Devices
