How do I setup wgu email on a mac

I am trying to setup my Western Governors email through my Mail client using OS X Lion and it does not accept my credentials. I have verified the password through the browser but the client still does not sync through. I used to work but just all of a suddent stopped working. I have removed the account, but cannot re add the account. WGU uses gmail portal for their email.

Not with a Classic operating system. Mac OS X Mail has built-in Junk mail filtering. It isn't the greatest in the world, but it works. Here's how:

I'm sure this has been answered a million times but i can't find an answer and the IT guy on campus didn't give much help at all but just tell me to do imap incoming and smtp outgoing. But anyways my email address is [email protected] but our campus uses Gmail for our email, so I have to set the servers up manually and I'm not sure what I should type in, I've tried imap.google.com and smtp.google.com for the incoming and outgoing servers respectively and that hasn't worked for me. Any solutions would be great.

I know how to do that.. but when I put it in with my password I have to set it up manually and the servers I put and that the campus IT guy gave me didn't work. I know it uses gmail because when I log on it through the email site which is mail.ualr.edu it shows up gmail.

Solved my own problem:
When it asks for the username, you must include your domain, unlike other clients.
So i added my @selu.edu to the end and it worked fine. I'm sure this would work for all GoogleApps users

You should be able to access it from Safari on your MacBook, or another computer.
You can only access it on an iOS device if you use an altrenative browser like iCabMobile Web Browser, and set the Browser ID in the app's settings to Safari (Mac).

Before having my computer worked on, I always kept an e-mail tab open. I use the extension sbcglobal.net, I am assuming this is a yahoo extension, but not positive. Anyway, when I would I would click a link from a website to e-mail it would automatically open in the tab I had opened for e-mail. Now it opens in a new window and says mail to:XXXXXXX (whatever the e-mail is) So I have to remove the mail to portion and then use that opened window and close that window when finished. The purpose of having my e-mail open all the time was to use that one tab. Is there a plug in or something to make firefox use sbsglobal. net for my default mail client. I do not use outlook, hate it, I have att.net set as my home page and want all mail to go there, not a new window.

How do i restore deleted email messages from mac mail back to hotmail server?

i have a hotmail email address i use, i have been using mac lion mail
here the problem - i found loads of my emails missing when using hotmail webpage
but in MacMail they are all there still.
i found that in macmail settings "remove copy from server after retrieving a message" was selected(after one week). (now i have disabled this function)
how can i send them back to the hotmail server email box?

I do not know if you can unfortunately, having deleted them from the POP server and as Hotmail does not offer an iMap or Exchange solution for OSX they may be 'marooned'
I will search around and see if I can find a solution.
But before anything else happens backup your mail (Mailbox Menu>Export Mailbox) and save the file somewhere you can find it, you probably don't need to hear this but you should be (have been) backing up regularly, for this and many other reasons.
I'll post back if I can find a solution to the issue.
