How do I tell which version of bootcamp is installed?

Installed Win7 using bootcamp on my early 2009 macbook pro with my leopard disk and everything worked fine except for the magic mouse. Searching the forums say to use the latest bootcamp 3.1. How do I find out which version i'm running now and how do I update to 3.1 if I am running and older version?

In OSX Open Bootcamp in the Utilities folder
and click on BootCamp on the top left next to
the Apple logo and click about BootCamp it
shud say it there.

  • How can I tell which version has been matched?

I have multiple versions of the same song.  Not duplicates, but remastered versions of the same song.  How do I know which version iTunes has matched?

Thank you, but that is not the issue.  I am want to know which itunes track with which it is matched.  For instance if I have the the remastered version of a song I want to know if it has been matched to the original or remastered track in itunes.  Because the meta tags stay the same I can't tell from the track info.

  • How do I tell which version of FF 4 beta I'm running?

Usually there's an "About" link that gives you the version number. I can't tell which version I'm on. I thought it was .10, but the feedback button tells me I'm not on the latest version.

I finally figured it out. You have to click on the "Firefox" button at top, and then hover over the "arrow" next to "Help."
That's not even remotely intuitive. I kept clicking on "Help" and go the help page. By accident I hovered over the arrow and saw the sub-menu pop up. The sub-menu should pop up when you hover over "Help"

  • How to find out which version of AIR is installed on Linux

    Hi,
How do I find out which version of the Adobe AIR runtime I have installed on my Ubuntu system?
Please don't tell me to look at this article in the Knowledge Base, since the method reported there does not work. The file /opt/Adobe AIR/Versions/1.0/Resources/ApolloVersion does not exist.
    thanks
    m.

You could find the version of Adobe AIR installed on your system using the commandline as well:
dpkg -s adobeair (on Debian systems like Ubuntu)
rpm -q adobeair (on RPM based systems like Fedora and Opensuse)
    -Neha

  • How can I tell which Apple Security Updates are installed?

While troubleshooting a printer issue, I installed some 'Extra' printer profiles from my OS 10.6 Install DVD. After which, I got a dialog box from the Installer saying that I may have replaced some newer items with older ones, and it suggested I run the latest OS "Combo" installer. Which I did, even tho Software Update said I was up-to-date.
But apparently, when I ran the "Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1" -- it downgraded some of my Apple software to older versions. For example, I know for sure Safari was at 5.1.2 before I ran the Combo, and it's now at 5.0.5. Yet Software Update is not telling me about v.5.1.2, which it shows as already being installed (at a date prior to me running the Combo updater).
    So my question is:
What other software might have been downgraded by the 10.6.8 Combo v1.1 -- and if Software Update thinks I running the current versions, how am I going to find out for sure?
Obviously, I can check version numbers of my installed Apple software like iTunes and Aperture against the latest updates available at Apple Downloads, but I don't know how to check on background files like Security Updates, Java, etc.
I am particularly concerned that I am running the latest Security Updates.
    Thanking you in advance,

"... There you will be able to see if a more recent version of Safari, etc. was replaced with an older version."
Not exactly. That screen shows my most recent Safari update was 5.1.2 on 12/16/11 -- then it shows the Mac OS X Update Combined was installed on 1/2/12. That's when my Safari got downgraded to 5.0.5, but that detail is missing from the Installed Updates preference pane.
It looks like once an update gets installed, Software Update remembers that -- but does not take the newer update off the list if an older version replaces it???
So, even though I see Security Update 2011-006 was installed on 10/21/11, I'm not sure if the OS Combo Update replaced any security items with older bits. Is there anything specific to security updates that I might be able to check?

  • My laptop's been stolen; I have serial number of my Photoshop Elements but can't remember which version; I now have Wondows 8.1. How do I know which version to redownload and install?

Sorry...title says it all. I had a Photoshop Elements 3.0 on disk and have subsequently downloaded updates and was running an updated version on my stolen laptop with Windows 7.
MyAccount shows my Photoshop serial number but not the version number which I have forgotten. I assume I can now redownload the version I had - updated to work on Windows 8.1 but don't know which version to download.

Contact Customer Support by chat or by phone and they should be able to look into your purchase history.  You might even find it yourself if you poke around different links in your account.
Here is a link to a page with options to help make contact:

Support should be able to deactivate the software for your stolen laptop as well.

  • Help! How can I tell which Airport Card I have installed in my Mac Pro?

I bought a mac pro from comp usa in December, without the airport extreme option. I later got an airport card from apple on-line and took it to my Apple store to have it installed. I just don't know if it's the newer 802.11n card or an old 802.11g?
Any way to tell this in system profiler it just says:
Wireless Card Type: AirPort Extreme (0x14E4, 0x87)
    Wireless Card Locale: USA
Wireless Card Firmware Version: Broadcom BCM43xx 1.0 (4.80.79.1)
    Thanks a lot!

There is only one model of AirPort card for the Mac pro ( it is draft 802.11n compatible ). Some other intel Mac's may or may not have had the 802.11n enabler update applied. The enabler is/was a $1.99 download from Apple, so priced as the FTC deemed that it "added" features rather than revised existing firmware.

  • How to tell which version boot camp?

It's such a simple question - *How can I tell which version of Boot Camp my machine is running right now?* - but the answer is oh so elusive...
Get Info on the partition doesn't tell me, About This Mac More Info neither (unless I don't know where to look and somebody can set me straight.) Running through searches at Apple and similar, including forums using (eventually) only the word "version" hasn't helped to figure out how either, nor has Google with a bit more than "version" obviously, else I'd be at it still. And the version on the Boot Camp Assistant.app in Utilities doesn't seem to jibe with anything, much.
    Answer?

    Thank you. That helps.
Do you know if that's truly the version of Boot Camp itself, or merely the version of the Boot Camp Control panel? Apple doesn't seem to address this anywhere that I can find, but over time I've noticed the different pieces, like the Boot Camp Drivers "bundle" and, in this instance, features like the Boot Camp Control Panel do indeed have different versions. As an example (and for my confusion) on my system the Bootcamp.exe file is version 3.0.0.1 and the product version is 3.0, but "About Boot Camp" from the icon says 3.1 and the Drivers Update 2.1... In the Properties for BootCamp.msi under Comments it says 3.0.0 (and also present is a revision number which doesn't fit its {}.) All this in Windows, of course. In OS X (10.6.4 Snow Leopard) the Boot Camp Assistant.app is version 3.0.1. So, to summarize, I seem to have versions 3.0 and 3.1 concurrently - I'm less worried about the Windows drivers. Those can be updated independently, and I don't use iSight in Windows anyway.

  • How to tell: Which version of camera raw do I have?

How to tell which version of camera raw I have? The only Google search I found answering this question refers to is 2 years old and seems to no longer apply. There is no File, Edit etc. menu on the new version of Camera Raw with (Photoshop/Bridge CS6). I do use Adobe Application Manager to do my updates telling me if a new version exists or not, nevertheless I would like to know.

The F key works as described for me in CS6-ACR7.4 with ACR as the window with focus.  The same function is available using the double-arrow-window icon at the right of the Preview checkbox near the top right of the preview area.
When in full-screen mode there is no title bar, but when I press the F key or click the double-arrow, again, ACR becomes smaller and I can see the title bar that includes the ACR version and camera model.  This is on Windows7-64-bit on a 1600x1050 monitor.  Perhaps you’re ACR’s title bar is off the top of the screen so you can’t see it, or maybe ACR optimizes some things if you have a smallish display—do you?
A plug-in is a program that interfaces with another program but is not independently runnable application, itself, bit is independently updatable, so in this instance, Photoshop doesn’t need to be downloaded and installed every time Adobe adds support for a few more cameras.

  • How to tell which version of 1130AP

The Aironet 1130AG Series is available in:
    A lightweight version
An autonomous version that can be field-upgraded to lightweight operation
A single-band 802.11g version for use in regulatory domains that do not
    allow 802.11a/5 GHz operation
Is this firmware/software only, or is the hardware different.
How do I tell which one I have?
    Thanks.

    Software.
    Do a "dir flash:"
If the IOS is "K9W7" then it's autonomous.  If it's "K9W8" or "rcv" then it's LWAP.
