How do you add additional rows to a table

If you just want to add an extra row at the end of the table all you have to do is hit tab while in the last cell, shroudlupe.
If you want to add a row in the middle or top of a table, highlight the row above or below where you want the new one to be and then go to the "Table" menu. Go down to the "insert" option and choose whichever is appropriate from "Rows below" or Rows above".
(If you want to insert more than one row ,then select multiple rows at the first step above, rather than just one , and it will insert the same number of rows that you have selected).
Another way of doing it, after selecting a row in a table, is to simply access the contextual menu by holding down the control key and clicking, or by "right clicking", and then select "insert rows" from the options presented.

    I have an ADF table. The user can add or remove elements to this table.
    I want to add a validator on the table, that will be invoked, when I leave the page.
    This validator will check if the user has added at-least one entry in the row.
    I created the validator. I cannot hook it to the "af:table" component. The table component does not provide any kind of validator attribute.
    I tried adding "<af:validator></af:validator>" within the table and it didn't work.
    How do you add a validator on the table?

    My page fragment that contains the table, is 3/5 train stop out of a train.
    So when I say leave the page, I mean navigate to the next or previous train stop.
    All I want to do is make sure that the user added at-least one row to the table e.g. one contact. This kind of validation does not belong on the entity. That is because that validation will not get fired until the commit point; which in my scenario will be on the 5th train stop i.e. too late.
    As for your other suggestion about adding a button or a link, that is not an option. A button or a link would require explicit user action. What happens if the user doesnot click the link or the button? Then the validation will not be invoked and the user will be allowed to go to the next fragment without adding the contact row.

    I'm trying to create a report in Pages 09 using the Visual Report template.  I have over 150 photos to include in the report - 4 to a page.  I have two questions. The first one is how do I add pages beyond the 2 on the template.  Secondly, is there a way to group all 150 pictures and have them inserted into the document all at once or do I have to drag each one over individually?

    If you want more photo pages, select the appropriate template master from the Sections icon on the Toolbar.
    You can drag multiple images onto your .pages template but they will come in in a clump.
    The whole point of the template is the neat formatted style of the image and you get that by dragging photos individually onto the image placeholders.
    Are you using:
    Menu > View > Show Media Browser
    to drag in your photos? Or are you going straight from the Desktop? Either method works.
    In the Desktop you can arrange your images in Icon view and make them large enough to identify and rearrange them into the order you want to bring them in. Line up your .pages template with the open icon view window next to it then just drag over the images into the template with a simple click > slide > drop.

    I have a requirement to add some aggregate metrics at the bottom of my "tableRegion". The "TotalValue" property value for the table is not going to work for me since I the data I'm calculating is more complicated then doing a simple "sum".
    My first try (simple test case) was to use "OATableFooterBean". However, when it tries to find the table bean, it comes back as "null":

    I'm guessing it is due to not defining a "footer" region for my "table" region. When I click on the "Table" region, then due "New", I dot see "Region" listed as an option. So my question is how do I add a region "footer" to my "table" region? Once I have that, I'm sure it will solve the "null" exception I'm seeing for trying to get the table footer in the above code.

    For this create a transient attribute in the VO.
    Perform your required logic on this new transient attribute.
    Now create a footer region and create a styledtext and assign this transient attribute.

  • How do you add additional video clips to a multicamera sequence after aligning multiple cameras?

    We shoot extended videos (1-2 hours in length)  all the training videos I've seen for CC walk you though aligning the inital cuts and then editing, but they don't say how to add the rest of the clips from that session to each video track.  Any tips?

    Thanks Mark - That worked.  By the way, in case there are any other rookies out there trying to create a multicam sequence like this, make sure that you 1) create the MultiCam Source Sequence and then 2) right click on the Multicam sequence icon in the project window and then 3) choose open in timeline.
    Once the project is open, verify that the camera views are sync'd and then drag the follow on video clips to the end of the appropriate video track.  Once that is done, right click on the Multicam icon again and choose New Sequence from clip and your complete project will be ready to edit.

    I have a scenario which is very similar to a MAM-Szenario. I'm using MI 7.1 and developing wit the newest NWDS in WebDynpro for Laptops.
    I download Notification headers and as a dependend table the notification tasks. Now the user should be able to add a new task in the client if it not exists on the database.
    Can anyone tell me how it is possible to dump a new entry to the database if the query, which should extract the right task is not available?

    If you are developing applications using MI 7.1 , then Bapi wrappers are required to communicate with the backend system.If you want to create anything in the client and if you want it to be reflected in the backend system , then a create bapi wrapper is a must .

    On the iPod I can only insert what is on the clipboard but I can insert however many rows I have there. Is it working differently for you? Benjoon seemed to think that he could not do this in Numbers. He was ruling Numbers out because of it. He doesn't need to do that because of this issue.
    If I was needing to insert multiple blank rows often I might keep a table of blank rows or just some blank rows at the end of the working table that I could copy/paste. This is no different than Numbers on the Mac.

    You have some contacts with more than one birthday?
    To add a custom label for a date, select Edit for an existing contact. Select Add Field. Select Date. Scroll up with the Info window above the date selection and select Other for the new date selection. Select Add Custom Label and then select this label for the new date field for the contact.
    As far as linking dates with multiple contacts, the answer is no to that.

    I'm not quite sure I understand your question. Respondents (fillers of the form) cannot edit the label of a field.

    Hi,
    There are two ways to do it.
    1. Use create method of entity object, create method fires whenever you creates new row.
    2. Handle the event raised by addanotherrow button and write logic there to initialize contactid as you are getting contactid from pageContext so I will suggest you to use this method.
    if (tableBean.getName().equals(pageContext.getParameter(SOURCE_PARAM)))
    && ADD_ROWS_EVENT.equals(pageContext.getParameter(EVENT_PARAM)))
    //write your logic here to default the contact id
