somehow the default paper size in numbers is A4, i want to make it legal, how do i do it, numbers doesnt have "page set up" like pages. and i tried to change the default print size in the print center, still nothing happened. im really getting frustrated. help please.

So are your text box set to floating? You can tell that by looking in the Inspector>Wrap Tab when you select the text box.
If I had to guess I would say that the text boxes are floating and when you change the size of paper the text that you have in the main body area is shrinking so that it does require as many pages and you are losing the text boxes at the end. Is that correct? If so, they are still there, you just have to add page breaks to get to the pages that you lost and you should see them again.

the print batch size? This is for a 4 page document, 8 1/2 x 11, printed two sides on 11 x 17. I've tried all the suggestions that were in the other thread. The response that was marked as the answer by the moderator is incorrect and does not work. Nothing
suggested in that thread works. A registry fix that worked for Publisher 2003 won't work because the print batch size key does not exist in the registry for Pub 2010. At least not that I can find. Printing to an XPS document doesn't work. It asks for a filename,
prints 2 records, asks for new file name, prints 2 records, asks for new file name, and so on. The same for printing to a PDF document. Merging to a new Pub document doesn't work. When I print that job every other sheet is turned over. I.e., sheet one has
pages 1 & 3 on top, next sheet has 3 & 4 on top, and so on. This makes it impossible to run them through the folder. The same thing happens when I print that complete merged document to XPS or PDF. I have the latest drivers installed for our printer, a Toshiba
2500C copier/printer connected via network. What do I need to do to to change the batch size to something reasonable, like 100 records?

It's been two weeks since I posted this question. What does it take to get an answer? I cannot believe it's being ignored, nor can I believe that someone in MS doesn't have an answer.

Basically, you need to wrap the word in a <span> tag, and apply either a class or an inline style to the span. Using a class is better because you can reuse it in other pages, or other parts of the same page. Also, changing the font size in the class will apply the changes to all instances of the class. I don't know if there is a way to set this. Some user's may prefer different sizes of window, depending on their job duties. For example, we have 170 Systems document management integrated with purchasing and payables so users shrink the Oracle window to fill about 60% of the screen while 170 uses the remaining 40% to display the scanned document.

I downloaded Tinkertool. Found the font section and increased the size of most selections. The only thing that changed that I can see is the window label. The apple line, bookmarks line, the tool bar in safari are all the same---font size of about 4. Found the finder "show view options" but that didn't seem to change anything either. I'll keep working. Restarted all apps after changes as well.

You can change the as-viewed size of that temporarily by using either -

I would like to change the font size in iPhoto under the photos that appear in the Events view and in the Photos view. I was told by a tech at Apple that it cannot be done because it is built into the software. What you see is what you get. That seems unusual because the font size in the Photo view is smaller than that in the Events view. The Font control that exists in File/Edit are for fonts used when you open a photo and add your own captionI and have nothing to do with the various views. Does anyone know a way to do this? Thanks

There's a chain link between width and height. The point is to keep the aspect ratio the same, otherwise your picture would get stretched.
You click on the chain-link to shut that off and you can adjust width and height separately.
Also could you give us your version of Photoshop, what OS you are running it on (Windows 7 for example) and what exactly you want to do with your document?
Resolution is the print term for how many pixels will be printed on an inch of paper. It doesn't apply if your image is intended for screen viewing.
