How do you sync calendar with dashboard calendar?

I accidentally selected 'no' when asked if dashboard could have access to my calendar (on my Macbook Air) and now I can't figure out how to sync the calendar with the dashboard's so that upcoming events appear on the widget.

iphone needs iOS5 with enabled iCloud and Macbook needs Lion 10.7.2 and have iCloud preference pane enabled to sync all content exact same as on iOS5 , in your case enable iCal sync on both.
You have to use the same Apple-ID on both iOS5 and OSX Lion then ( as icloud Apple-ID ).

Thanks Kao. I've tried that. Didn't work for me.
I found a reply in another thread that indicated that after setting up in Mail, Contats and Calendars I needed to delete my account from within iCal then recreate it in iCal using the application specific password. I did that. iCal seemed to accept it, I've closed and reopened a few times and it seems to be working now without the errors.
I was able to get it to work yesterday temporarily - hope it sticks this time.

How do i sync ical with google calendar, in that direction

i have google cal and ical syncset up but it was set up by google telling what to enter into ical. this made my other calendars, all the google calendars i have other than the main one, into "delegates" on ical.
whats the reason or process for this? cant they just been normal calendars on ical?
the reason i ask is that i have a menu pull down app which seems to only read "normal" calendars and not delegated calendars...
can i sync ical to google cal but enter details into ical to sync with google rather than the other way round?

You can't use bluetooth to transfer files between your Macbook and tour iPhone. Use iTunes and sync the data to/from your phone. Caution: Be sure that your Macbook's calendar and address book have at least one entry (even a dummy entry) in order to generate a merge prompt. If you try to sync a bland\k address book or calendar, the blank file will replace the files in your iPhone.

The problem is my boss was asking me to change to Outlook 2011 for Mac because some of the email that I sent from Mail did not appear in my client's Blackberry. There is no suich thing as a Google iPad. iPads are made by Apple not Google. What device do you have exactly? If its made by Google its not an iPad. It may be a Tablet though.
