How does a linked PDF show up in a Muse site?

If I link to a PDF from my Muse site, will the user be able to see the complete full-size PDF in their browser, or will they have to download it? I want them to be able to just view the PDF without having to download and save. Thanks!

Most modern browsers have PDF support built-in, so a user would be able to view the PDF as soon as he clicks on a link to .pdf through his browser instead of being prompted to download.

In Flash. There is no way to apply an HTML link to a swf
file.

I'm OCD about my iTunes library and just want to know how a movie bundle will show up in my library...is there a special format for bundles, or will the bundle simply show up as 3 separate movies like they were purchased separately?

How does Flex cache PDF files??

I need to prevent my Flex application to cache PDF files... We are using LiveCycle8.2 and Flex 3.2. Does anybody may help me??

Sorry for being newbie obtuse but are you saying that FP (Flex Project I assume)'s are an Active X (application) and thus IE does utilize its cache for all HTTP based communications???
If so then as I understand it, the typical Flex Project has an HTML wrapper which then loads the Flex App (I assume using HTTP). Subsequent Flex<--->Server communications can be HTTP or other format (AMF which I believe BenForta indicated was HTTP "wrapped" as well but at the moment I am less concerned with this).
As such is the following correct?
1.) IE Browser hits HTML page (url) ----> IE checks its cache; If exists compares vs current version on server; If different download from server else load from cache
2.) HTML page calls Flex App (using HTTP???) ----> IE again compares Flex App in cache (if exists) vs. server and if same load else download
3.) Flex App retrieves image file names via <mx:RemoteObject> ----- I don't see how browser cache can be used here as results not known until after dbase query completes
4.) Flex App uses <mx:RemoteObject> results to retrieve large .jpg files ---- do these "pass through" the browser (and therefore load and/or store in cache) or are they purely "Flex contained" (and if so does flex have any automatic cache or do I have to perhaps store the jpgs in a shared object if I hope to reuse them without a download)???

How to disable links which show up as highlighted words in all text on-screen

Recently (possibly since the installation of a "Flashplayer" update, certain words (usually nouns) appear as highlighted in any text on screen. When clicked on, the word-links open a new tab, dealing with a topic related to the word. These are annoying, and the highlighted word often cannot be read, as it shows up in red, on a background which may also be red.
I want to disable this "quick-link" ability. Please tell me how 'tis done. Thanks

From your description, it appears you want to do an AJAX call where a request is sent to a url without updating the browser window. There are many libraries that make it simple to do this type of thing. http://ajaxian.com/ is a good place to start to look at AJAX if you are unfamiliar with it. Some popular libraries include dojo and jmaki.

How does labview link to NiMAX when taking an image

I have an unsupported camera link camera (build by Rockwell Scientific). I have constructed a camera file for the camera which seems to work ok (at least I am getting images). I have set attributes in the camera file that allow a user to set exposure time and frame rate and they seem to work as expected when I set them in NiMAX. The problem comes when I try to run the IMAQ vi's in LabView. When I write a simple snap program where I enter exposure time and frame rate, I can see (using an O Scope which lets me monitor the exposure time that is set in the camera registers) I can see the exposure time switch from the one I have set in the vi to the one set by default in the camera file. It seems that the IMAQ snap vi is fi
rst running whatever it finds in the camera file first, then setting my new attributes. Is this true? What exactly is the sequence of events in an IMAQ image snap and how is NiMAX involved?
My camera is currently set to run in free run mode, I have done no triggering yet as I am trying to understand how my camera file is interacting with LabView. There is still a good amount of instability in my system as I repeatedly get memory exceptions both from NiMAX and LabView.

I tried a program with just the snap vi in a loop and the init and close outside the loop and I got the same behavior. I am operating a camera that has a BNC output that allows me to monitor the exposure setting in the camera registers and I can watch this change as I set new exposure times. What happens (whether or not the snap is in a loop) is each time snap is called, the exposure time sets to whatever the default is in the camera file, then it changes to the value I have set in the SetCameraAttribute vi. It then alternates back and forth if I put the snap in a loop. It's almost like the camera file is loaded each time snap is called, not each time init i
s called. This results in pretty slow response from the camera. I realize there are low level routines I can call, and I'll used them when it comes time to trigger the camera, but I need to understand how the camera file is used in labview before I go any further.
Also, are you sure that MAX isn't involved in LabView camera control? I was under the impression that MAX controlled all the drivers for labview and as such was loaded when labview needed to control an interface. They seem to be inseparably linked and it's this dependence I'm trying to understand.

I want to browse TV shows on iTunes using my iPad. So I go to TV Shows->TV Under $20 and then sort by name. The search results list only titles beginning with numbers and the letter A.... How can I see the next page of titles??
I know other titles exist because I have purchased them.

How does Password-protect PDF work?

In EchoSign API, one can set a password to open a PDF. I believe the syntax to use is securityOptions; set protectOpen = true and OpenPassword = xxxx. However, when I download the pdf, it didn't ask me for password. Could anyone in the know please chime in? Thanks!
