  • Get local sql server data in sharepoint online

    Hi
      Can anyone tell, how to  get local sql server data in SharePoint online.

    Hi Partha,
    Are you taking about local content db to SharePoint Online, if yes then there is not direct way to restore your local content db to online instead if you have small data then you can save your site as a template including content and the upload that template
    and create site on online using that template.
    Below mentioned link might also help:

    i have an ssrs report where i have to get last five quarters data  and also last five months data when i select quarterly/monthly parameter.....
    is there any possibilty that we can get this using ssrs expression
    any help please.........

    Hi Mr.SMK,
    According to your description, there is an SSRS report, you want to create a parameter, when you select quarterly, data of last five quarters will be displayed. If you select monthly, data of last five months will be displayed. If that is the case, please
    refer to the following steps:
      1. In design surface, in Report Data pane, right-click Parameters and click Add Parameter.
      2. Type parameter name and prompt, set Data Type to Date/Time.
      3. Click Available Values in left pane, select Specify values.
      4. Click Add button, in Label text box, type Quarterly, then click (fx) button and type the expression like below:
    =DateAdd("q",-5,Today())
      5. Click Add button, in Label text box, type Monthly, then click (fx) button and type the expression like below:
    =DateAdd("m",-5,Today())
      6. Right-click the dataset used to retrieve data for the report and open Dataset Properties dialog box.
      7. Click Filters in left pane, click Add button, select Data from Expression drop down list, set Operator to >=, in Value text box, type [@ParameterName].

  • How to design SQL server data file and log file growth

    how to design SQL DB data file and log file growth- SQL server 2012
    if my data file is having 10 GB sizze and log file is having 5 GB size
    what should be the size in MB (not in %) of autogrowth. based on what we have to determine the ideal size of file auto growth.

    It's very difficult to give a definitive answer on this. Best principal is to size your database correctly in advance so that you never have to autogrow, of course in reality that isn't always practical.
    The setting you use is really dictated by the expected growth in your files. Given that the size is relatively small why not set it to 1gb on the datafile(s) and 512mb on the log file? The important thing is to monitor it on an on-going basis to see if that's
    the appropriate amount.
    One thing you should do is enable instant file initialization by granting the service account Perform Volume Maintenance tasks in group policy. This will allow the data files to grow quickly when required, details here:
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms175935%28v=sql.105%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
    Also, it possible to query the default trace to find autogrowth events, if you wanted you could write an alert/sql job based on this
    SELECT
    [DatabaseName],
    [FileName],
    [SPID],
    [Duration],
    [StartTime],
    [EndTime],
    CASE [EventClass]
    WHEN 92 THEN 'Data'
    WHEN 93 THEN 'Log' END
    FROM sys.fn_trace_gettable('c:\path\to\trace.trc', DEFAULT)
    WHERE
    EventClass IN (92,93)
    hope that helps

  • HowI get Address Book Server sync with clients?

    I have just set up Lion Server on a macmini and am learning how to set it up.  I cannot get address Book server to sync with client accounts.
    The server is function is active.  The users are properly set up, and the clients have been connected to the server and a Mac OSX Server Address Book created.  I have also set up the address book on the Mac Mini with an OSX Server addresss book.  It should show the same entries as the client and sync wherever changes are made.  Not a sausage....nothing......  The little 'wheel' whizzes round and does......... you have got it........ nothing.
    I thought this was easy to use?
    Any help would be welcome.

    Hi,
    Yes the sync tool is a standalone utility (you don't need the outlook connector installed). I finally got around to installing/configuring the latest version (comm-suite-5 sync tool) against my 2005Q4 test install.
    The addressbook server is the UWC address as I mentioned before but you also need to include the /uwc on the end.
    So for my system I have the following setting:
    local.sso.uwc.verifyurl = http://test-system.sun.com:82/uwc/VerifySSO?
    This maps to a :
    => Address Book Server: test-system.sun.com/uwc
    => Port: 82
    So in your case it would be:
    local.sso.uwc.verifyurl = http://hostname:6788/uwc/VerifySSO?
    => Address Book Server: hostname/uwc
    => Port: 6788
    Regards,
    Shane.

  • How get name of server instance

    Hi all!!
    First of all, sorry if this is not the place to leave this question, but I didn't know where post it.
    I have a weblogic 9.2 MP3 installed in a x64 Redhat Linux. It's clustered into 2 instances.
    An application is deployed in both instances, balancing each request between both instances.
    Of course, a request is responsed by an only instance, and I'd like to know how to get the name of the instance who treats a certain request.
    I've been reading that I can achieve this using weblogic registered mbeans in this way:
    InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext();
    MBeanServer mbean = (MBeanServer)ctx.lookup("java:comp/env/jmx/runtime");Then
    ObjectName rs = new ObjectName("com.bea:Name=RuntimeService,Type=weblogic.management.mbeanservers.runtime.RuntimeServiceMBean");
    Set beans = mbean.queryNames(rs, null);And finally I iterate over beans, but I'm not able to retrieve instance name. I guess object name is not the appropriate.
    However, I'm able to get server name and both instances names by a JMX Connection to service:jmx:t3://localhost:7001/jndi/weblogic.management.mbeanservers.domainruntime, but this is not what I want because I need to know which is the instance that is attending a certain request.
    Does anybody knows how can I do that?
    Thanks a lot and sorry for english xD

    This should do..
    private String getServerName() throws Exception {
    try {
    Context ctx = new InitialContext();
                   MBeanServer mbeanServer = (MBeanServer)ctx.lookup("java:comp/env/jmx/runtime");
                   String runtimeServiceName = "com.bea:Name=RuntimeService,Type=weblogic.management.mbeanservers.runtime.RuntimeServiceMBean";
                   // Create Objectname for the runtime service
    ObjectName runtimeService = new ObjectName(runtimeServiceName);
                   // Get the ObjectName for the ServerRuntimeMBean ObjectName
    ObjectName serverRuntime = (ObjectName) mbeanServer.getAttribute(runtimeService,"ServerRuntime");
                   // Get the name of the server
                   String serverName = (String) mbeanServer.getAttribute(serverRuntime,"Name");
    if (serverName == null) return "";
    else return serverName;
    catch (Exception e) {
    throw e;
    }

  • How get one channel of data from two-channel audio file?

    I need to either convert a 2-channel audio file to 1-channel or else get just one channel of data (does this lose some sound?) for a calculation. How would I do that?

    In terms of a loop over byte[] data, double[] left, double[] right...
    8-bit mono
    for (int i = 0; i < data.length; i += 1) {
         left[i] = (double)data;
    16-bit monofor (int i = 0; (i*2) < data.length; i++) {
    left[i] = ((double)data[2*i] << 8) + (double)data[(2*i)+1]);
    8-bit stereofor (int i = 0; (i*2) < data.length; i++) {
    left[i] = (double)data[2*i];
    right[i] = (double)data[(2*i)+1];
    16-bit stereofor (int i = 0; (i*4) < data.length; i++) {
    left[i] = ((double)data[2*i] << 8) + (double)data[(2*i)+1]);
    right[i] = ((double)data[(2*i)+2] << 8) + (double)data[(2*i)+3]);

  • How can SAP tRFC server tell client through JCo that function carried out?

    SAPs "Transactional RFC Technical Description" document (release 4.0) says in section Transactional RFC on page 6: "Finally, the server tells the client, that the function has been carried out and the client acknowledges this.".
    How can the server tell this to the client when the server communicates with the client through JCo (Java Connector)?

    System.out.println goes to console, which is not a file... This whole thing is much easier if you use standard logging:

  • CLR to get the SQL Server Data into .CSV File

    Hi,
    I transformed 10 columns 1000 rows from the source table to 1 column 1000 rows in the destination table by making the comma separated columns ( Just like ..
    Insert into DestinationTable
    SELECT col1+','+col2 ....
    FROM SourceTable
    Then I want to take this column into CSV file.
    I dont have the rights to command shell.
    I heard that we may use CLR procedure for this. Can someone throw light?

    using System;
    using System.IOM
    using System.Data;
    using System.Data.SqlClient;
    using System.Data.SqlTypes;
    using Microsoft.SqlServer.Server;
    public class ExportFileClass {
    [Microsoft.SqlServer.Server.SqlProcedure]
    public static void export_file()
    using (SqlConnection connection = new SqlConnection(
    "context connection=true"))
    connection.Open();
    // Operation to open file goes here.
    SqlCommand command = new SqlCommand("SELECT col FROM YourTable");
    // Consume result set and write rows.
    Build this from the command line:
    sn -k keypair.snk
    csc /target:library /keyfile:keypair.snk exportfile.cs
    Then run in SQL Server (assuming that the files are in C:\temp on the SQL
    Server machine:
    [sql]
    USE master
    go
    -- To be able to create an external-access assembly, we need to load
    -- the key, the assembly is signed with. The key needs a password, but we
    -- don't need to know the password.
    DECLARE @sql nvarchar(MAX),
            @password char(40)
    SELECT @password = convert(char(36), newid()) + 'Ab4?'
    SELECT @sql = 'CREATE ASYMMETRIC KEY slog_loopback FROM FILE = ' +
                  '''C:\temp\keypair.snk'' ' +
                  'ENCRYPTION BY PASSWORD = ''' + @password + ''''
    PRINT @sql
    EXEC(@sql)
    -- And then a login to carry the permission.
    CREATE LOGIN exportfile$asymkey FROM ASYMMETRIC KEY ExportFile
    GRANT EXTERNAL ACCESS ASSEMBLY TO exportfile$asymkey
    go
    -- Now we can go back to our regular database and create the assembly.
    USE youddatabase
    go
    CREATE ASSEMBLY ExportFile FROM 'C:\temp\exportfile.dll'
    WITH PERMISSION_SET = EXTERNAL_ACCESS
    go
    CREATE PROCEDURE ExportFile AS
    EXTERNAL NAME ExportFile.ExportFileClass.export_file
    [sql]
    It is likely that you will have to do ask your DBA to do things in the
    master database.

  • How does SAP pick up an update type

    Hello,
    For a Fixed Deposit, there are several update types used by the system while posting flows through TBB1.
    GL Account determination is done for an Account Symbol with reference to a valuation area, Account Assignment Reference and Currency. An Account Symbol is assigned with Posting Specifications, Posting Specifications assigned to Update Types.
    I need some help in understanding how Updates Types are related to Account Assignment Reference. While creating a Fixed Deposit Transaction through FTR_CREATE, the Account Assignment Reference appears in the Position Indicator. This account assignment reference is mapped in "Assignment of G/L Accounts to Account symbols"
    I am trying to understand how do the Post Flows transaction TBB1 pick up the Update Type for relevant flows. Is there a link between Update Type to Account Assignment Reference.
    Request clarity on the matter.
    Thanks,
    Murtuza.

    Hi,
    There is no link between update type and account assignment reference. I will explain in brief so that you can understand it better.  Let us take the case of fixed deposit.  You are having 2 kinds of fixed deposit - 1 in local currency and another in foreign currency.   Assume both are managed using different product types say 51A and 51B.  Now while making an investment, both are going to post similar entries - Dr investment account (asset) Cr Bank account.  Hence we assign same update types for both.  And thus the posting specification will also be same and the account symbols will also be same.
    But the actual  G/L account for both is going to be different because in general we manage investments in local currencies separately with that of foreign currencies in our ledger.  This is where we have 2 different account assignment references and when we assign the G/L accounts to account symbol, we make it pick different G/L accounts for same account symbol using different account assignment references.
    Hope this clears your doubt.  But please note this is just 1 way of doing it.  We can manage the same scenario using 1 account assignment reference itself and make it to post to different G/L accounts using the different currency option.

    Ravi

  • How Get JDev to Omit data-sources.xml from every .war deployment

    I want a global data-sources.xml file to be used for all deployments. I do not want a copy of my standard data-sources.xml file to be included in every single deployment. I want my global data-sources.xml file to reside in the standard J2EE location of:
    oc4j_home/oc4j_instance_name/j2ee/config/data-sources.xml
    JDeveloper, for whatever reason, includes a data-sources.xml into every .war file. How do we configure JDev to omit the data-sources.xml? How do we set up JDev to automatically configure the .xml files (orion-application.xml, application.xml, etc) to use the global data-sources.xml? I do not want to manually do this for every deployment.
    I've been trying hard to find the answer in JDev online help and other OAS manuals. I read everywhere that I can have a "global" data-sources.xml, but I find no way to easily configure JDeveloper to do it this way.
    I would be grateful for you insights/help.
    thanks
    -Paul Janda

    I found the answer:
    In JDeveloper, Go to Tools | Preferences
    Select Deployment
    Uncheck the option for "Bundle default data-sources.xml during deployment"
    Upon the next generation of the .ear or .war file (including the next deployment), data-sources.xml will be omitted.
