How I can append new node in existing  XML file

I've just begun learning DOM XML , so I'm currently at a very beginner level.
I have an existing XML file that I would like to add an additional node to before saving it to another variable.
how I can append new node in this file.
now this code is overwrite new data over old data

in your code you are already appending new nodes to the root node. so what exactly is your problem? The following steps are usually taken for appending a new node:
1. Read the XML document
2. Build a DOM tree
3. Navigate to the node under which you want to insert the new node
4. Create a new node.
5. Insert the new node to the node selected in point #3.

  • How i can store a DOM Tree to XML file

    I want to insert a xml documet into another another xml document and then store it.
    for this i have parsed a xml document using com.sun.xml.parser and got its domtree in document doc1 by builder.getDocument(). After that i parsed another xml document and got it's domtree in document doc2 by builder.getDocument().
    now i created a Document type doc . I create dom tree in doc that contains all the nodes of doc1 and insert the doc2 at a position . If i m printing this doc i got the required document. Now i want to store this doc into a xml file. so i paas thid doc and filename in which i want to store it into a function

  • Acrobat 9 Std-how to append new pages to existed/opened pdf file

    i am using Acrobat 9 standard version.
    when i used the scanner to create a pdf, but the file had many pages so i could not finish it before lunch. Therefore, i had to append new pages to the opened file.
    In past, 7 standard i could choose append to the opened file but 9 standard i don't have this function. Finally, i found the
    DOCUMENT / SCAN TO PDF / CUSTOM SCAN / TICK THE APPEND TO .....
    But, only 1 scan is allowed , what can i do now ????

    You can scan to different files, the you should be able to insert the
    second group of files into the first file using Documtent->Insert Pages.

  • SQL Server Distributed Partitioning Views how to add a new node online

    We are using distributed partitioning views in SQL Server 2012 Enterprise Edition for scaling out our data across more than one servers. Now we faced to question how to add a new node (server) into the scale outed db servers system without sending the servers
    down, so our users will be able to use them during the process as well.
    For example we have 4 servers with scaled out data. When we add the new empty server, the CHECKINGs for the partitioning columns should be reorganized. But during the process the partitioning views are not working.
    The High Availability, Always On or Failover Cluster approaches seem are not resolve the problems.
    So my question is how to add new node online?

    Yes, it's sounds as possible solution but has some not resolvable nuance in it. Let's say we copied some data from Node5 to new added Node6. Let's assume in Node5 we had data in Table1 with partitioning column's values 100,101,102,103,104,105,106.  Now
    we want to copy part of the rows with partitioning column's values 103,104,105,106 from Node5.Table1 into Node6.Table1. With this Node5 will contain less data and will work more quickly (less IO, less CPU usage etc), and the rest data will be contained on
    Node6. But because of Node5 is already in use, the Node5.Table1 contains CHECK CONSTRAINT = ParttionColumn should be from 100 up to 106. This is check for Node5. The Distributed Partitioning Views are already using the CHECKs to identify what server should
    be used to get data from.
    Now when we copied part of the Node5.Table1 rows to Node6.Table1 the views are still using the 103-106 rows from Node5.Table1 because the CHECK points there. Then we include the newest Node6.Table1 in the distributed partitioning views. OK, but we should
    set some CHECK on new Node6.Table1 which will be used by views. We can't set intersecting checking like Node5 has CHECK 100-106 and Node6 has CHECK 103-106. We also can't edit Node5 check and set it 100-102 untill the data will be removed in it. But this means
    that the data will not be available during the execution. 
    So, any ideas ?

    The sales order confirms the price given to the customer.  If you have re-determined a new price/discount then you may consider in VTFL to use pricing type C.

    I have to write Data to an XML file. This I have to in a stacked Sequence within a while loop. How can I write my Data to my existing XML file without overwriting my existing Data from the loop before?

    I made the erroneous assumption that you were using your own XML creation code.  The LabVIEW write to XML file VI overwrites the file every time.  You can get around this behavior in  a couple of ways.
    Create your own write to XML VIs using the LabVIEW one as your base.  The LabVIEW one write a header, writes your data, then writes the end tag.  Split this up so that you open the file and write the header before your loop.  During the loop, write your data.  Write the end tag and close the file when you exit the loop.  Don't overwrite the LabVIEW vi.lib function, or you will probably regret it.  Copy it to a different location before you start your modifications.
    Use the LabVIEW write to XML file for the first write of the loop.  This will give you a file with a header and your first set of data.  Still in the first loop iteration, reopen the file and position the file pointer on the start of the end tag (</LVData>).  In subsequent loop operations, flatten your data to XML and write to the file directly using the file write primitive.  When you exit your loop, write an end-of-line character and the end tag "</LVData>" and close the file.
    If you need more detailed help on either of the above methods, let me know.
    Out of curiosity, why are you saving your data as XML?  There may be a better way to do it, depending on your application.
