How i can setup CLASSPATH in Linux!!!

Help me plese how I can to modify PATH for JMF in Linux Red Hat 7.2

The syntax for setting your classpath is slightly dependent on which shell you are using. The default shell for RedHat 5.x and 6.x is the bash shell. Two other popular shells are tcsh and and csh called "t shell" and "c shell." Thus, these 3 shells are covered here. If you are using a different shell, you can read the man pages by typing man "shellname" to find out the exact syntax. To find out which shell you are running, type the command finger yourusername such as finger tfox and look at the argument for Shell.
For bash shell:
export CLASSPATH=$CLASSPATH:/java/myjar
export PATH=$PATH:/java/mybin
For tcsh or csh:
set CLASSPATH = $CLASSPATH /java/myjar
set PATH=$PATH:/java/mybin
These commands can either be typed at the terminal each time you login, or you can add it to your .bashrc for bash shell or .cshrc for csh or tcsh so that each time you login, the CLASSPATH is already set. The $CLASSPATH means to keep the existing CLASSPATH and then append it with the other directories listed. This is helpful if a directory is set in the CLASSPATH by the System Administrator for everyone.

You should lower down the security settings on the Zone Alarm.
Make sure the File and Printer Sharing which is one of the features created by Microsoft should be configured properly on 3 computers.
For more information on how to share files and printers on all of the 3 computers.

  • How I can setup HP CP2025 color printer

    I use OS X Lion.
I open "Print and Scanner" setup, adding HP CP 2025 color printer. The Mac OS try to find driver, and nothing happens.
How I can add HP CP2025 for my MacBook Air?

I found the solution by myself.
    Steps:
    1. Find in the Internet HP package for MAC.
    2. Install it into the Mac.
    3. Reboot the system.
    4. Add printer normally - in this case Mac OS find it without any problems.

Are you saying you want to install 10.7 on your MacBook and you already have Windows XP installed in BootCamp? 10.7 doesn't come on a cd - it's a download purchased from Apple's App Store. What is on the cd? Which MacBook do you have and what Mac OS are you currently using?

  • I would like to find out how I can setup my Mac Air to allow me to have an email template open up in Outlook instead of Mail when I click on an email address on a website.

Can anyone help me with setting up my Mac Air, to allow me to have an email template open up in Outlook instead of Mail when I click on an email address on a website?

All the limits you mention 100 e-mails at a time and 500 in a four hour time frame are limitations imposed by your mail provider, not Thunderbird. Thunderbird places no restrictions on the maximum number of recipients.
Have you tried turning your computer off for a few minutes?

  • Set classpath in linux

if u dont mind plz explain the steps of how to set java classpath in linux.?

The same way you do it in windows, except that you use ":" instead of ";" to seperate the paths.
Although you can set a environment variable (CLASSPATH), it is usually best to just provide the classpath explicitely in each command:
    javac -cp <myclasspath> com/foo/Bar.java
    java -cp <myclasspath> com.foo.Bar

  • Wls1032_generic (64bit) jar file how i can install ?

    operating system : windows 7 (64bit)
    oracle : 11gr2 (64bit)
    no java intstall
any body can tell me how i can setup this jar file

    Hi,
First of all you need to install 64 bit jdk either Sun jdk or Jrockit jdk as the generic jar files doesnt have one.
Then you need to set the java home i.e. it should point to the 64 bit jdk.
check java -version gives the o/p for the 64 bit jdk and then execute the command:-
    java -jar -d64 wls1032_generic.jar/zip

  • How do you setup up a resource type.

    Hi,
I have built most everything I need to setup a HA Failover (V3.0) but do not know how to setup a resource type. They talk about doing a "pkgadd AAA.bbb" then "scrgadm -a -t AAA.bbb" which is fine. But I cannot find how to either build the package for AAA.bbb or how I can setup my RDR and bin files on the cluster manually so I can do the "scrgadm -a -t AAA.bbb".
    Thanks for any help...

  • How to setup classpath for the beans?

My packaged beans reference classes in other jars. Right now I have to set up the classpath in the Windows user variables. I think that is not a good way.
Is there a better way to do it? Thanks.
    Anthony

    Matthew,
Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately the way you sugguested will not work for me because the beans bridge stuff is just a small piece of the system that I will deploy. And I can't ask all the needed jars put into the Java plug-in's directory.
I know there is another way to setup the classpath just for the plug-in's. It is by using the Java Plug-in's console. But this looks work only in a development environment. I don't know how I can automate it as part of a product installation process.
I will deploy an enterpise applicaiton. So far I haven't found a better way to set the classpath than setting the environment variables (which is kind of rude).

  • How do you setup GNU/Linux on an iMac G4 with Panther OS X 10.3.9 ?...

How do you setup GNU/Linux on an iMac apple computer
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IMac_G4
    with Panther OS X 10.3.9
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OSX10.3 ?...

There is a Ubuntu 10.4 version for Mac with PPC architecture; not sure
how that would work in the computer you may consider running it in.
Some leads on that kind of discussion can be found by using a Google
search, and the words: *ubuntu for PPC G4 Mac* + read through results.
Or choose to search using these terms: *Open Source Linux PPC G4 Mac*
A few results point back to Apple Discussions, where there were inquiries.
Note the version of a Linux-type of OS, compatible with Mac PPC hardware,
on the following page-link: *• Ubuntu 10.0.4 LTS (Lucid Lynx)*
    http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/10.04/release/
{You would have to put the image, as downloaded from such a site, on a CD
    for use as an Installer; then follow any instructions as available to install it.}
An old page (from 2007?) with some details, some not up-to-date,
may be of help to a limited degree, from here: Ubuntu PPC wiki
    https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PowerPCFAQ#Is%20Ubuntu%20supported%20on%20PowerPC?
    Or: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PowerPCFAQ
See their home page to look for other information on the site: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/
These wiki groups are like communities, with rules & other such considerations; you
may be able to also find +Open Source+ sites with information and builds of suitable
Linux versions capable of running well in an older PPC Mac. There are newer ones
that would have no problem on a newer Intel-based Mac, of course.
    • Mac Linux Links: (perhaps too dated)
    http://lowendmac.com/linux/index.shtml
    • Comparison of Linux distributions:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparisonof_Linuxdistributions
Hardware support in the older PPC G4 Mac computer should be considered, in order
to have the better experience possible with the Linux-based OS; and some specs in
an old Mac may not be ideal. The graphics processor unit and amount of dedicated
RAM for the graphics alone, could make a difference; depending on what you had in
mind when running a Linux-based OS in a PPC Mac. So consider hardware specs.
Some hardware in the computer may or may not be supported by the Software; and
then, there may be some problems implementing a Linux OS version in your Mac.
If you had an old Mac Mini (PPC or early Intel) & considered running Linux, there's
a page of general ideas worth a peek: http://sowerbutts.com/linux-mac-mini/
You may not have enough room on the existing internal hard disk drive inside the
iMac G4, for a complete OS X 10.3.9 or Later OS X, and a partition for Linux in it.
And, you may find through reading further, if you need to (or don't) start fresh and
have a partition for each different OS, or not. For organizational purposes and ease
of removing one system or the other, a partitioned hard disk drive may be best.
There probably is a way to have Linux on an external bootable hard disk drive; &
that would have to be compatible with the Mac hardware requirements to be seen
and used by the computer, and also the ability to restart from Linux into Mac OS X
would have to exist in the system software. Hopefully without incident.
You will have some degree of a learning curve in this matter, from reading up on
the details of any viable Linux versions, through the ones likely to work in your
old PPC G4 Mac, and then if there are more than two or three good ones, of those
what one would be most likely to be worth the additional effort to attempt to use in it.
Depending on the version and specifications of your iMac G4 computer, there could
be different versions of linux systems capable of running it. However, some items
may not be supported which you would need to have working, such as wi-fi internet
and sleep mode, etc; among others. Searching the net does bring up more info.
{You may find, that going to OS X 10.4.11 would be more worth the effort, in that
most everything would 'just work' and you can still find many good software bits
and some fine freeware or low cost shareware to run on it. Linux versions vary
    so much on what they can and cannot do, I would not recommend running it.}
Since I am not an expert in the matter, hopefully someone with a experimental time
and results in a similar vintage Mac as yours will reply and give you insightful info.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • How do I setup my Airport Extreme so that I can extend the coverage of my existing AT&T wifi network?

How do I setup my Airport Extreme so that I can extend the coverage of my existing AT&T wifi network?

Start by establishing a permanent fixed Ethernet cable connection from one of the available LAN <-> ports on the ATT modem/router to the WAN "O" port on the AirPort Extreme.
Ethernet cabling can be run up to 300+ feet or 100 meters, so you should be able to locate the AirPort Extreme exactly where it will be needed to provide more wireless signal coverage.
Configure the AirPort Extreme to "create" a wireless network using exactly the same wireless network name, same wireless security setting, and same wireless network password that the ATT wireless is using.
The final step is to insure that the AirPort Extreme is configured to operate in Bridge Mode, so it will work correctly with the ATT modem/router.
If you need more specific steps, we need to know what operating system you are using on your Mac or PC. If you have a Mac and do not know which operating system it is using.....click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen and then click About This Mac, and post back with the OS X version number that you see there.

You can not change the date of birth on the account. Apple makes that clear up front when the account is created.
The only way to "fix" this is going to be for him to create a new account with the correct information. Any apps purchased with the old one will need to be re-purchased with the new account. They can not be transferred.
