How long does it take? re: com.sun.rowset.*

Question

It's been years and we still don't have a solid disconnected RowSet implementation from Sun. What gives?
My gripes:
1) If *RowSetImpl is "included in Java 1.5" then why didn't you add it to the javax.sql.rowset package and document it in the api javadoc?
2) It doesn't work. I've heard all sorts of workarounds for getting around the NPException due to the properties file, from Locale hacks to even changing where the jdk/jre are installed (if it's in "Program Files" it doesn't like the space).
I just want a friggin disconnected RowSet so I can pass the data along and not worry about dangling db connections. Geez!
I'm smart enough to moan about this, but not smart enough to implement my own....

Here's a solution for those having problems instantiating the Rowset implementations (eg, CachedRowSetImpl) and are receiving a NullPointerException with a stacktrace talking all sorts of gibberish about the .properties file.
If you've got your JDK/JRE in a directory that contains a space, uninstall Java and reinstall it in a directory that doesn't contain a space.
For example, if you've got Java installed in C:\Program Files\Java, try installing it in C:\Java instead.
I am so friggin bummed.... but I guess I can finally use them thar disconnected rowsets I've been ranting all evening about.
HEY SUN, put that stuff in javax.sql.rowset and doc it! PuHLEEEZE.
