    TYou can use it in as many computers as you own and control. No serial number, just your Apple ID to download. Or just copy it from one machine to the other.

    You can install on as many machines as you like, but you can only have activated installations on two machines at any given time.  Your ability to install on different machines will depend on which version of Photoshop you are talking about.  If it is Photoshop CC then you should have no issue installing on either machine since CC allows for different platforms.  Otherwise, the version you have is platform dependent.  Since your version worked with an HP laptop, it will be a Windows version, so you would not be able to install on the iMac with that version.   You would have to crossgrade to the Mac version but that would only be available if it is CS6.

    You can download to all the machines you like.  You can only have two machines activated to run the software.

    You can download and install it as many times as you like but you must activate it in order to use it.
    You can only activate the software on a maximum of two computers at any one time.
    You can deactivate on a computer via Help > Deactivate and re-activate via the same step.

    No, if you mean can you copy the installed version over. That never works because PSE is a highly complex program that strews stuff all over your hard drive and you can never hope to find all the bits and bobs. You should deactivate it on the computer you no  longer need, then install from scratch on the new machine.
