I know that my PE license agreement allows me to install PE on 2 computers, but can I re-install it on the same computer without incurring licensing issues?
PE has been throwing up errors recently, and the Repair option on the installation disk doesn't work (keeps asking me to "insert disk 1", which doesn't exist), so I want to uninstall and re-install to (hopefully) cure the problems. But I don't want to find that I can't re-install because I've exceeded my limit.
I'm using PE4 on XP SP3. (Yes, I know PE4 is a really old version. I also have PE7, 9 and 10, but I confess I don't use them much. I prefer the non-intrusive black-and-white look).

Now that the funny comments have been made, I have a serious question and that why are you worry about reinstalling Leopard with an Erase & Install which is what I take that you mean when you say clean install. In actually fact there is no such thing in OS X as a clean install.
I am curious because in all the years I have used OS X, I have yet to do an Erase & Install yet.
I know with Windows that they suggest reformatting and reinstalling at the drop of a hat but that isn't true with OS X.

For ease of access and portability Adobe allows you to install the Adobe product on 2 computers of the same platform. However, you may not run the software simultaneously on both computers.
If you wish to install the software on third computer you need to de-activate the software from one of the 2 systems, and then install it on the new system.

Sorry Fred you are wrong.
If you have a single license you can install it on as many computers as you like. you can only activate the suite on two computers at anyone time. Work and Home or as many of us do it Desktop and Laptop. You can not use the computers simultaneously. You only have 20 activation/deactivations so use them wisely. Student versions only have one activation. You can not break up the suite installs the suite is considered one application.

You may install software on up to two computers. These two computers can be Windows, Mac OS, or one each.
If you install on a third computer, it will request you to de-activate on the other two computers. You can then reactivate one of the previous two computers, and use Creative Cloud apps on it.
If you regularly need to use the Creative Cloud on more than two computers then it would be best to purchase an additional subscription.
An advantage though for Creative Cloud over the perpetual product is that you can install on Mac and Windows with the same subscription!

If you mean how many times can you install it, your license lets you install it on two computers. If you want to install it on more computers than that, you'll need to deactivate one of the installs (Editor>Help>Deactivate).

now I'm gettting 8230.
Meanwhile my backups not are running. I remember running PSConfig command when I first installed windows and sharepoint 2010 on this box for system backup to work correctly.
Now I run WMIC QFE LIST FULL /Format:HTable > C:\Temp\HotfixList.html to retrieve all the installed update to check if KBs
2460045 or 2687453 are installed unnoticed but I don't have any history of installed updates suprising eh!
Now I want to run
PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -force -cmd applicationcontent
-install -cmd installfeatures
just incase one of them have been installed unnotice.
How many times can I run this PSConfig command? How dangerous is this decision?

You can run it as many times as you want, but it will take SharePoint down on that particular server (resets IIS, for example), while it executes.
