          Pedro,
Did you restart the NES after making the changes? Otherwise, I think your obj.conf setup looks ok.

  • How do I get a servlet configured with init parameters

When I try to add a set of <init-param> parameters to a servlet it seems

The distribution file is not a WAR file, but a JAR file. I need to to just
do what it does if I don't specify any init-param's which is to pass them
when the servlet does get loaded, or load it as a servlet from a jar file
              instead of a bean.
How do I configure weblogics to run my servlet with init parameters.
              Thank You,
              Anthony Rizzolo

I'll answer my own problem. It turns out that you can't put multiple
              <param-name> and <param-value> pairs within a single <init-param>. I
assumed that you could since none of the examples had more than one
parameter I didn't realize that you had to specify multiple <init-param>
tags if you had multiple parameters.

  • Do I need to buy a web hosting package to publish with iweb, and how do I configure Filezilla?

    Hi,
I've created a website using iweb and have bought a domain name from 123reg and downloaded Filezilla as the FTP server. How do I configure Filezilla to my server and do i need to buy a web hosting package?
    Thanks!

To use FileZilla, or iWeb's built-in FTP, you need a webhosting package.
Which one? Start with your own ISP. Otherwise its like answering what's a good grocery store.
The webhoster will provide the details of what to enter in the various fields.
Perhaps 123Reg offers what you want? They do actually.
You must have seen it when you visited their pages.

  • I am trying to use an external HD and need to configure it for the MAC. Can someone explain how to configure the HD (Western Digital - My Passport SE)?

Can someone help explain how to add an external HD to the Mac? I have a Western Digital My Passport SE and need to configure if for the MAC and add it to the HD location on my Mac.

Connect the external drive to the Mac. You can do that while the Mac is on, (If the drive is one that has to be plugged into a wall outlet do that too and turn the power on.) If there is a light on the drive it should turn on.
Now double click on the hard drive icon - top left of the screen of your computer. When it opens look for the Applications folder. Double click that. Next look for a folder called Utilities. Double click. In there you will see a file called Disk Utility.app. Double click on that.
You will now see something like this, with two items on the left. The second one is your new drive.
Select it - one click. And click on Erase - one of the buttons at the top, You will see this.
You must select the Format, it's a drop down - the one shown in the image above is best. You can change the name from Untitled if you want. The name can be changed later if you prefer.
At this point look at the bottom right. There is a button there called Erase. Click on it. Then go get yourself a cup of coffee - this will take a few minutes.

  • How to Configure a Servlet Chain Using MIME Types with weblogic5.1?

    Hi ,
I want to configure a servlet(cocoon) in weblogic 5.1 such that the
servlet so configured is invoked each
time a response with the mime-type "text/xml" is generated.
1.) will weblogic support to configure a servlet with a particular
mime-type so that it post-process any
servlet's response with the corresponding mime-type?
2.) if not what is the alternative?
              Thanks

We suggest that use the request dispatcher interface instead. Servlet
chaining is not a standard's based possibility.

  • How to Run a simple servlet "HelloWorld.java" in JBoss 3.0 ?

    Dear all,
    I am a beginner and I want to run a simple "HelloWorld.java" servlet .
    I need to use JBoss 3.0 .
After I run this simple servlet, I need to use EJB-Servlet-JSP to implement MVC .
I have the servlet code and I am able to compile it.
But I dont know how to proceed as to where to put the class files , where do I specify an alias for my servlet and what modifications I need in Web.xml,Jboss.xml,Application.xml ?
I do not anything about tools like Ant or Xdoclet so need to proceed without them. Please alos let me know where I can fond complete info about Ant and Xdoclet .
    Thanx in Advance,
    Sujith

I am not sure of the JBoss package that you are using. If you are using the JBoss-Tomcat package, here's the solution. Create either a .war file or create a directory with the name <your-webapp>.war under <jboss-root>/server/default/deploy. If you are creating a war file, you have to place that war file in the same directory. JBoss-Tomcat will keep looking at this directory for new files or updates to files and deploys/re-deploys as required.
The contents of the war file should be something like this.
    WEB-INF - directory
    WEB-INF/classes - your servlet classes
WEB-INF.web.xml - your configuration. Here you can specify the servlet name, class and URI mapping.
Now, you can call your servlet using the browser in this way: http://localhost:8080/<your-webapp>/servlet/<servlet-alias>. Here the <your-webapp> is the prefix of the .war file.
    Resources:
    Ant - http://jakarta.apache.org/ant/
    Xdoclet - http://xdoclet.sourceforge.net/

  • How to pre-configure wireless locations

Does anyone know how to pre-configure wireless locations that can them be pushed to several computers via ARD?
We are taking admin rights away from most users, which means they cannot create a wireless location. I need to find a way to have a file or files that are preconfigured with the locations we need (on lab and off site) so they can connect to our private wireless network on lab, and then just plain old dhcp off site. I've tried modifying the preferences.plist and networkinterfaces.plist, but it puts MY computer information throughout, and that is not acceptable.
I UNIX command or script would be better.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Hi.
    2 things -
    1. use T3StartupDef interface for startup classes
    (http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs61/javadocs/weblogic/common/T3StartupDef.html).
    2. check out the example code in
    examples\i18n\logging\startup\UserSMessagesStartupImpl.java. This is a
startup class that uses T3StartupDef and binds to the JNDI tree.
    Hope this helps,

    1. But the question is integrating JNDI with some START UP mechanism

    Hi
Suppose I need to lookup in message bean an admin email
in order not to hardcode it
    say ctx.lookup("ADMIN_TO_NOTIFY");
so in JNDI it is bound to say [email protected]
Of course I want to configure it somehow so it is dynamic enough
    in some config file
One way to do it is some tech support servlet that will rebind it
and init binding thru startup class reading it from customconfig.xml.
    1. Is there a better way to do it???
config.xml it seems does not allow FULL access to JNDI tree and sois console
    2. Is there a JNDI console for WL?
    3. Is there an example of startup class?
    Thanks--

  • How do I configure the Airport utility to allow more than one rule per port?

How do I configure the Airport Utility (AU) to allow more than one rule per port?
I am on a home network, with broadband cable modem.  I have my airport extreme connected to the broadband modem.  I have 2 servers in my home that need to be accessed remotely from time (SSH), and they also serve data for an iphone app, so I'm using a variety of protocols.  The problem I'm running into is that AU seems to only allow one rule per protocol, so if I go to add another address for access on a specific port that is being used by one of my servers, AU tells me "The Port Mapping Entry Already Exists".
I need to be able to allow SSH on both of my servers, for instance.  Am I missing something?  Is this doable with AU?
    Thanks for any insight.
    Khalid

The Port Mapping "rules" on the AirPorts will allow you to: 1. Map a single port to a single IP address OR 2) Map multiple ports to a single IP address.
What you won't be able to do is map a single or multiple ports to multiple IP addresses.

I need to have a Java plugin to access company site, how do I configure the Java Plugin ?
At the Plugin area in FF6 there is no Java Plugin available, even after a search.
I have Java 1.6.0 installed in the OS at:
    /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0/jre/lib/amd64/libnpjp2.so
I googled how to configure Java Plugin for FF 6 for Fedora 13 and the trick was to create a soft link from /home/<userID>/.mozilla/plugins to the above libnpjp2.so

  • How do I configure my AirPort Extreme as a wireless access point?  My cable modem goes to a router, and one of those ports goes to my AirPortExtreme.

I am about to hook up my airport extreme.  My cable modem goes into a router, and one of those ports will supply my airport extreme.  I was told by the Apple Store that I would need to configure my airport extreme as a wirreless access point.  How do I do this?

With sbcgobal I got a Gateway 2wire modem. What I would like to know is how do I set up my APE as remote?
Unfortunately, you won't be able to do this as few non-AirPort routers will work with AirPorts in a Wireless Distribution System (WDS).
