How Popup window automatically open, when I got new approval from any user?

Hi Friends,
I have an application in Form6i, where different users send approvals to me, when somebody send me new approvals there is indication to me, I used timer, and I Execute Query in When Timer Expire trigger , so a display item is appear when I received new approval. But this is only applicable on the Approvals screen, when I navigate to another screen I have not get an indication of new Approvals.
Now I want to get an indication of an approval on every screen in my application in the form of Popup window.
A window is automatically open before me on any screen when new approval is come.
THIS IS JUST LIKE YAHOO MAIL BOX, WHEN WE WORKING IN ANY APPLICATION JUST LIKE MS WORD, EXCEL ETC. AND WHEN NEW MAIL COMES IN ACCOUT THERE IS AN INDICATION IN STATUS BAR “RECEIVES ONE NEW MESSAGE”
Please send me the solution of this problem on urgent basis.

Instantiate from your forms application a second forms application which calls your form with the timer or which contains a procedure which has registred itself for a message (use dbms_pipe).
Your starting form code will call via a host command ifrun32.exe with all required parameters and the name of the form containing the timer or listener. Now you have two forms applications running on your pc but the "mailbox"one can get minimized and maximized the moment a message is detected.

Window automatically opens when I log in - don't want it to.

When I log into my admin account on my 2009 iMac, almost always my home folder opens up. What setting, either in the Finder preferences or the System preferences (or for that matter anywhere elsc) can I change to NOT have the window (or for that matter, any window) automatically open on log in? There is no setting on the start up items on my admin account on the system preferences to deal with this and I don't know of anywhere else to check. It is not a big problem, just annoying. Have posted this on the Leopard forum as well.

I have three login items...
something called AdobeResourceSynchronizer which must have been installed when installed either PS Elements or Reader
and two Microsoft wireless keyboard apps: MicrosoftMouseHelper and MicrosoftKeboardHelper which are part of the support for the the wireless keyboard I have.
The strange part is that I had this identical setup on my old PowerPC G5 with both Leopard and Tiger and did not have this situation.
Again, not a big problem, just annoying..

How popup window maximize default when it opens

Hi,
I am making one interactive alv report.
When i click on a record i am opening that record entries as a pop up window.
Now my requirement is when popup window open by default it should open in maximize screen.
I have tried to set the second view screen size maximum width and height..that does not worked..

The SWF file is to be sent to a commercial web site...I'm not sure if they would accept two SWF files, and all...And, as we can only have nine seconds of animation, we would have to alter the Auto Page Turn SWF. Hummm...

When I have multiple browser windows open - but in the "minimized" mode - and I want to open up one of them for viewing, ALL of the windows automatically open as well. How do I prevent this annoying function. I cannot find it anywhere in the options.

This does not appear to be a system issue, but rather a functional aspect of the browser windows. E.g., if I have 7 browser windows open to different sites... and all are Minimized, and I decide to open one to study, THEY ALL POP OPEN automatically. I am using Firefox v3.6.8 on Windows 7. This is an annoying behavior of the browser, and I am sure it can be somehow "turned off" but cannot determine how to do that. I have looked through all options. I am not a techie, but have reasonable proficiency with software apps.

This can happen if you drag a tab slightly down in the browser window while clicking.
Firefox has a feature called tear-off tabs
You can detach a tab from the current window and open it in a new window by dragging a tab in the browser window.
You can also do this via the right-click context menu of a tab: Move to New Window
You can drag that tab back to the tab bar in the original window to undo that detaching.

Firefox should save session when only popup windows is open

When I have some window with multiple tabs open and I click close button on top, it saves the session and quits. Thats ok. But when there is some hidden popup window open (or source code) it destroys the session and leaves the popup open!!!! So the menu is gone and you lose your session. When i restart FF tabs are gone. So it should save session when only some popup windows are open.
Also it should ask what to do when i click close window, when it's unclear what to do

It is always a good idea to close a Firefox session by clicking File > Exit or Firefox button > Exit for proper shutdown.

How do I make a webpage automatically open when i start up mozilla firefox?

Currently when I open firefox, certain windows automatically open (ie. gmail, usps, my work website, etc.) these windows were set to open at startup by the person that previously had my job. There are other webpages that I would like to open at startup but I can't figure out how to :) please help!

I wrote an AppleScript that asks me each time I connect the iPhone/camera/etc whether or not I want to open iPhoto. Usually I just hit return and it doesn't open, but once in a while I'll click Yes to open iPhoto and import videos from my phone. I just did it because it's nice to have a little reminder so I don't go for too too long without importing, but not have it slow things down each time I plug in.
Below is the script. Paste it into AppleScript Editor, then export it as an application. Then set Image Capture to open this app when you plug in your phone. Would love to hear if it's helpful for you or if you modify it to use other criteria to automatically import only at certain times or conditions.

The window will contain information that i want to display.It dosnt require a normal 800x600 window to open. I just want a 1/4 size of 800x600 etc. Is this possible and if so how.

This may have something to do with the "Automatically retrieve invitations from Mail" option being enabled? Click on the iCal Menu > Preferences > Advanced. It may also be the Alarms setting? This is for 10.6 iCal so it may be in a different place for 10.5?

iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
Authorizing a computer does not cause media to magically appear.
Media is only where the user puts it.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.

Popup window not opening in IE 6.0, SP1

Whats the version information for Popup windows to open.
Not able to view the popup window on Internet Explorer 6.0 , build 2800.1106, SP1.
It gives Runtime Error.
I can see the popup windows in IE6.0.2900.2180, SP2

Normally the browser should support the javascript version you are using. The best way is to upgrade the browser to higher SP if it runs on a different SP.
Usually, Javascript erros are very abstract, so tough to handle. So, got to be careful when coding.

When I download my pictures from my camera to the computer, they will not open up in raw, only jpeg. I contacted Canon, and they told my to try something but it did not work. How do I get my raw pictures to open up in CS 4 on my new computer from my new Canon 70D?

You will never be able to open your raw files from your new camera in CS4.
You need version 8.7.1 of the Camera Raw plug-in (ACR), which only runs in CS6 and higher.
You need to locate, download, install and run the free, stand-alone application Adobe DNG Converter on each batch of raw files from that camera, in order to convert them to raw DNG files that can be subsequently opened by ACR in CS4.
Remember you need to launch and run the DNG Converter on each folder (not files) containing your Canon raw files. THe DNG Converter doesn't do it magically for you just sitting on your HD.
Or you can upgrade.
