How to access notes in iTunes?

I updated to 1.1.3 and paid the "dreaded" $20 but feel it was well worth it. I do wish they had added a to do list but for now the notes feature is very useful. The problem is that I can only add notes on my 16 gig iPod Touch. Cannot firgure out how to write notes via my iMac and iTunes and sync the Touch.
Am I missing something? Has this already been posted? Does anyone have a solution short of hacking the iPod Touch ( ido no want to hack mine).

I don't know if this will help you but this is what I have done to solve this problem.
I email my notes (using the envelope at the bottom of the note page) to my PC at a different email address than the one on my iPod touch. If I need to make a note on my PC to remember something on my touch, I email it to the account I set up for the touch.
I wish that iTunes had the ability to sync notes like you can sync the calendar but since it doesn't, the above works for me.

There is nothing to download.
You first must purchase the service in iTunes and let the intial scan, match and upload process complete. Then you can activate it on your iPhone by going to Settings > Music and set the option for "iTunes Match" to ON.

What do you mean 'how to access tones in iTunes' ? If tones are available from iTunes in your country and you want to buy them then you should have a Tones tab at the bottom of the iTunes store app on your phone (you might have to go via the More button at the bottom of the app).
If you want to copy purchased tones from your phone to your computer's iTunes library so that you can take backup copy (tones are one-time only downloads, to redownload them you will have to rebuy them) then connect the phone to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases

Yes, one solution is to use both Google's and Apple's services and just duplicate everything everywhere. But, I'd just like to settle on iTunes/iCloud solution, but I have a brand new Android phone that I want to use. The iPhone 5 screen doesn't come close to my Motorola Droid RAZR Max HD! :-) Sorry, all you iPhone folks. You have all the app's., so I have to latch on to somethine for a reason why I stayed with Android!

Apple is pretty much the only one who does not support other platforms and it will be their downfall in the future. I have bought a few hundred tracks (and one movie) from iTunes before the competition started to catch up. Their Cloud service just came into Finland but I've already moved on to others. I've also bought music from Spotify, Nokia Music and Xbox Music. I've been a subscriber of Nokia Music, Xbox Music and now Google Music. I'm also a Netflix subscriber and I have a local IPTV service that also provides movie rentals from various providers - and guess what, they also work on all platforms.
The reality is that today was the first time in a long long time that I've actually even bothered to open iTunes. Lack of platform support will destroy iTunes in the long run. Apple is starting to look like Microsoft once did. Today you can even get Office for almost every platform - even mobile devices.
Limited access and/or features is also one of the biggest reasons that turn people away from legit services. DRM protected music was the reason I had over 20,000 MP3s before it was removed from iTunes. When that happened I deleted all the old files and became a honest, paying customer.

A pickpocket took my iPhone when I tried to photograph him, and slammed it in the asphalt The screen and display is broken and the touch-function won't work. But someone is still in there! However, when I plug the phone to my computer(not a Mac) iTunes recognizes there is a unit there, but says I need to type in the 4-digit passcode on the iPhone to get access to it in iTunes. But the touch-screen is still broken, so I can't type in anything. Any solution? Can I type in the code or apple-password somewhere else? Hope somebody can help me! I really want my contacts and pictures :S

If this is the computer the device normally syncs with, no passcode is needed.
If the device has been used as designed, contacts would be synced with a supported application on the computer or a cloud service and would not be lost simply by the device being lost/stolen, a hardware failure, or damage.
If the device had been used as designed, it would not be primary storage for pictures taken with the device, they would have been copied off regularly by the user to a computer. You might still be able to copy the pictures off as this does not require syncing or iTunes in any way.

I backed up my MacBook Pro to an external hard drive before I updated to OS Mavericks. I plugged in my hard drive a few days laters and tried to access my Notes application, but every time I try, I get a message reading "The application 'Notes' cannot be opened because it is a part of a Time Machine backup." I tried waiting for the backup to complete, and I got the same message. Why does this happen? Is there any way for me to fix it so I can access my old Notes? I don't have the original Notes anymore because OS Mavericks deleted them when I updated. Help please!!

Did you use Time Machine to backup to your external hard drive? If so you will need to use TIme Machine to restore the file. Post back for more info.

From your Apple TV, go to Settings > iTunes Store > Accounts > Add New Account. Once the 2nd account is added, you will be able to switch between the accounts, and Apple TV will load the content of the active iTunes account.

this just started w/ me yesterday. I was running 10.5.3, and nothing changed - the message just appeard out of nowhere. I update to the latest iTunes 10.6 but the message is the same.
Sounds like probably some sort of Library file corruption.
The two options available in the message box are "Download" and "Quit". Download is useless because I'm already running the latest. Quit is pretty useless.
I was going to just create a new Library and re-import all my music. Of course, all my iPhone sync settings are going go have to be recreated.

If you were using iCloud or MobileMe they should be in the Mail application on your Mac.

As far as I am aware, there is no way to do this. You have to de-authorize them individually from the computer you want to de-authorize, or de-authorize all and authorize just the ones you need.
