How to autheticate user on EBS DB

Hi
my requirement is to authenticate user on EBS DB table.
user will enter his user name and password in jspx page .i need to authenticate that user with his EBS db credentials

OBIEE Security - How to setup SSO-integrated EBS users & mobile access?

I'm looking for the best approach to solution my company's OBIEE Security requirements, they are:
1) Create a standard authentication/security process at an enterprise level
2) Maintain EBS Roles to provide object-level and data-level security in OBIEE
3) EBS Users must go through the EBS portal to get to OBIEE (ie. single signon integration)
4) non-EBS users must go through the OBIEE portal
5) Both EBS and non-EBS users need ability to use the OBIEE iPad mobile application
So for the EBS users, I've implemented the SSO integration between OBIEE 11.1.1.5.0 and EBS R11 based on the Oracle white paper [ID 1343143.1]. I've also set up an Authorization session init block to read the user's EBS Roles and set up object/data level security.
For the non-EBS users, I've kept the default identity store (WLS-LDAP) and authentication provider.
My question is what's the best approach for providing mobile access to the EBS users? Obviously I can't pass an HTML cookie to the iPad for these guys. Assuming these EBS users are in an corporate-LDAP store, I was thinking to setup a dual authentication store that connects to both corporate-ldap(EBS) and the WLS-integrated LDAP(non-EBS).
Will this work? Does anyone have a better approach they'd like to share?

We have a customer, who has upgraded to EBS R12 recently. With EBS R12 there comes a responsibility that enables users to directly open embedded BI in EBS. When people do LDAP authentication to EBS, they can directly open the OBIEE inside the EBS. But, when the EBS is SSO (OAM+WNA) integrated, OBIEE SSO in EBS does not work. What is the error?
It could be related that OAM generated cookies are not recognized by embedded OBIEE.
Is there a way to do a setup with both OAM SSO enabled to EBS, and EBS-OBIEE SSO is enabled inside EBS ? I do not think there is a single document that covers all the above (I believe you are aware of the individual docs).
For urgent issue, please always log a SR.

Pl post exact versions of OS and EBS.
The ability to do this exists in forms (professional user interface) using forms personalization, but does not exist in the OAF (self-service) interface, AFAIK. See related MOS Doc 399892.1 (Is It Possible To Restrict Employee Name Entry To All Upper Case in the PUI And SSHR ?) for some details.

OID Users in EBS

Hi, I have configured SSO for EBS using OID and OAM. I registered EBS with OID. When I create a user in OID it gets created in EBS, I can login through SSO and everything works fine. I would like to understand how does the user created in OID get into EBS. We sometimes see that some users do not get propagated to EBS. Can someone tell me what could be the problem?

Registering ebs with oid is nothing but Synchronization. As a result when you create user in oid it get reflected in ebs. It completely depends on containe you are using for mapping. As a result if you create user in oid in different container which is not present in ebs the user will not be reflect in ebs. For better understanding plese refer to "Ldap sync" through oracle guide. If you this useful mark it as helpful or correct. Not only for me but also for others. It's a good practice to motivate others.

I want to change the names of the tab in EBS as well as the names of the field within thos tabs. Cud sombody help me in how to do this ?
Eg : I want to change the name of Order tab to Sales Order tab and say order # fiels within Order Tab to Sales Order#.
I know how to do this in Siebel using Siebel Tools but not sure how to do it in EBS.

Error while provisioning a user to EBS UM

I am trying to provisioning a user to EBS UM from OIM 11g R2 and it is remaining in provisioning state. When i checked the resource history in the Create User task it is saying the following
Invalid Person ID entered.

It is clearly saying failed to check user in DB
Description : ORA-00942: table or view does not exist in the method "oracle.iam.connectors.ebs.usermgmt.integration.EBSUserManagementHelper : isEmployeeExist".
Check your connector installation again.

SSO and how to Managing User Roles/Privileges with Forms using Oracle db

We are in the process of implementing Oracle Application Server SSO with our custom Forms application using Oracle database -- all 10.2.0.1.0 version.
In our Forms Applications, we have about a dozen roles we have assigned to various users. We need to identify each user using our Forms because we are using the GLOBAL USER throughout the application.
Questions:
-- Do we have to create users/passwords in both OID and application database?
-- Is there a way to easily manage the user and passwords between SSO and Forms App/database in one place? For example, how does a user change their password once, but actually change it in both the database and SSO?
Any advice and/or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can have global roles in the DB and assign this roles to specific OID users, and the will heritage the privilages, you can do this using Oracle Identity Management Web Tool http://hostname:7777/oiddas is not complicated.

As you know, WeyDynpor has provided upload/download UI element, but it seems that it only support one file upload/downlaod at the same time.The following is the API method to download one file in Webdynpro:

but it is very ugly that three popup windows are shown to let user select every file's download path, which is unaccepted.
So anyone know more convienient way to handle it?

I found in table AQGQSTRUC but i didnt find the specified query
Previously 401 client is there but at present it is not there .How can you justify it that it is 401 client.
As 401 client data is moved to someother client is it the problem why i am not able to find query??
