How to Calculate Differance(-) between to UDF in New UDF From Same table

Hi Expert,
    I have created three UDF on WTR1 and I want to calculate Diff of two UDF and that value will be shown to the third UDF
what should be query for for FMS for that....
   I have write Select $[wtr1.U_Transmain]-$[wtr1.U_Tranns1] from WTR1 But this query is not working properly...
   Please give me suggestions...

Use this Query
SELECT ((cast( $[wtr1.U_QtyTrasMain]as decimal(10,2))) - (cast ( $[wtr1.U_QtyTrans1]as decimal(10,2))))
And use UDF type Unit and Totals and select Quantity type.
and Set auto refresh on U_QtyTrans1

1. The above exception message is getting carried forward to other pages as well. I mean somewhere in the session/ADFContext this message is being saved and error comes up/pops up when i click on other tabs of the page. How do i clear this?
2. The above exception message is coming for the first time but when i click the 'Submit' button second time, i am getting the results and also the message that 'Query is taking too long to respond'. This should not be the case, everytime it should show the same message as the timeout limit is less and the query should end without fetching the results.
Kindly let me know how to resolve the above issues, any pointers will be helpful.

I have archived SAP FI data ( Object FI_DOCUMNT) using SAP standard process through TCODE : SARA.
Now please tell me can I acees this archived data through the PBS add on FM : '/PBS/SELECT_INTO_TABLE'.
Do I need to do something else to access data archived through SAP standard process ot not ? If yes, then please tell me as I am not able to get the data using the above FM.

How to calculate hours between two dateTime node in BPEL.

In my BPEL there's a requirement need calculate hours between two dateTime type..
I tried 2 solutions, both of them failed:
1. use xslt calculate duration(xml type, like PT12H) between two dateTime, and then use embedded java code to get the hours.. The problem is : I need to parse the xml duration format...(like this real one: -P80DT17H47M36S....), and to parse it in java , maybe have the same problem with solution 2..

it's said can't compile java class, but can't find the detail error, I think the problem is how to import java class to embedded java code activity(use full package name like above code don't work), when I remove line 9-13, no compile error..
BTY: Jdeveloper is a IDE support java, but why the embedded java activity's edit window only have a simple "java code" editor, too simple that it can only edit you code snippet...
3.There's another sulotion: extend BPEL xpath functions(add a new function), but in my project, modify BPEL server(soa server)'s config file is not allowed..

I found the cause. Sorry, it's my mistake..

Have a universe over SAP data. Trying to calculate days between 2 dates. SAP holds Public Holiday data in various tables e.g Thol and data is updated via scal. Using my univeres as a source I want to run reports for different countries so need to have various bank holidays not just UK. In SAP function modules handle this. Has anyone designed a solution to cater for this situation in a universe ?

Hi,
I assume you mean SAP R/3 (ECC) when you write SAP and SAP BW.
Are you using BW? If so, I would load the data into SAP BW, create a query using customer exit variables and build your universe on top of that...

How to calculate period between date/time?

All,
I have not been able to find any function module that does this.
I have a create date/time from a table (VBAK).
I need to calculate the difference in days/hours/minutes (seconds not needed) between the date in this table and the current date/time.
Then based on the result - e.g. difference is say 2 days 3 hours and 50 minutes - I will compare to a comfigured period users input to determine record selection.
I can get date difference - SAP handles that - but the hours and minutes are a different story.

How to use Different Main Windows in Multiple pages to print internal table

I have a problem regarding how to have multiple different main windows in smartforms..the problem is that i want to print an internal table in the third page of the smartform and that table can have dynamic values ..sometime it may have more than 400 values also which can not be printed in one or two pages ...
so to accomplish the same what i did was..
i tried creating a new main window in the third page but it is throwing an error saying two main windows not allowed and i also tried by copying the first page's main window but it is just repeating the same content what was there in second page..
i also tried by creating a secondary window in the third page and in that window i tried giving my internal table and tried by giving the next page to itself but that also is not allowed and it throws an error saying a page without a main window cannot point to itself as a next page....
i also tried using a secondary window and in that window i was trying to display the internal table but it is only showing third page content and fourth page itself was not created....although in my next page field value of the third page , i have given the third page itself as a next page ....but this also is not working ,.....
please suggest how to have different main windows(not copy of first main window) in smartforms in order to display the dynamic contents of an internal table

Just check with your smart styles with assigned paragraph allignment .
Try to create character style with your required font ,size and Allignment .

Hopefully someone can help. I have the application "djay" and in two different menus there is the action "Eject". I was wondering if it's possible to apply different keyboard shortcuts to those actions with the same name? I can't see how to do it as it seems you can only write the action but as there are two it doesn't seem to work for me.
For example:

djay>Table-2>Eject - ⌘⇧0

Me and my sister both have iPod 4th generations. Because of the timing of the purchases of our devices we use the same apple account. I would like to know how to have a different iTunes music library to her and if it will still keep the libraries separate.

The Apple support document How to use multiple iPods with one computer suggests a number of ways for managing the media content. I use method two (Sync with selected playlists) with a slight twist. Rather than regular playlists I set the grouping field to indicate which users should receive which tracks and create smart playlists based on the content of this field.
e.g.
"Alice's Tracks" is "Grouping contains Alice" + "Kind contains audio"
"Bob's Videos" is "Grouping contains Bob" + "Kind does not contain audio"
Tracks that both Alice & Bob want on their iPods have the grouping set to "Alice/Bob"
etc.
I currently manage our family's five iDevices using this system, each getting a different selection to suit their tastes and the capacity of their device. An advantage of using the grouping field is that it is stored in file tags (for non-wav audio files anyway) so that it is relatively easy to recreate the playlists should the iTunes library get trashed and need rebuilding. Also useful if you move files about manually as playlist membership is preserved when you delete & re-import the tracks.
To make sure your apps don't inadvertently merge turn off Automatically sync new apps from the apps tab when you connect your device.
Or you can opt for completely separate libraries... Disable automatic downloading of purchases and turn off the display of iTunes in the Cloud purchases from the Store menu. You still get the benefit of being able to freely download something the other has purchased that you also like.

How can I differentiate between iPad and iPhone iMessages for the same contact?

I have my sister in law's email and phone number all in the same contact. She iMessages me from both her iPad and her phone. They come up as two different iMessage conversations, but they both are under her name. When I go to text her I don't know if I'm sending it to her iPhone or iPad. Anyone know if there's anyway to differentiate? Try scrolling to the top of the conversation and tapping Contact. You will then see the originating address highlighted in blue on the contact. If the iPad and iPhone are creating two different conversations, chances are if the email address is highlighted it's coming from the iPad; if the phone number is highlighted it's coming from the iPhone (although not necessarily). To know for sure you would have to ask her to check Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and tell you which is checked under "Start new conversations from" on both devices to know for sure.

Trying to hide your identity?
Why do you have two separate blocks here if there are different fields in each. The feilds in a block can be spread over multiple canvases / windows so layout is not a reason.
If you are in a situation where two blocks are displaying the same record for update them you'll have the potential of data consistancy problems as well.
So explain what you're trying to do with the two separate blocks and maybe we can come up with a better way to implement it.
