How to Call a procedure for UI5 application ?

Hello experts,
What are the possible ways to call a procedure from a UI5 application?
I am trying to call the procedure created in the blog from a ui5 application. I had an idea of calling a procedure from view and generating odata services from views, but this being a read write procedure , not exactly sure if this would work .
Looking forward for your opinions on this .

As always you write the method to call he pl/sql in the application module, expose this method to the client (so you see it in the datacontroll) then create a operation binding to the method and call this operation from the bean. The result you get by operation.getResult();
You should never call pl/sql from the bean directly!

I hv downloaded the login screen from the following site. Now I am trying to connect the same with my database. i hv introduced the password field in the application as earlier only username is available in the UI.

The problem is that in my database password field is protected with inbuilt oracle encryption. There is a procedure i hv in the database for the password encryption. How can I call the Procedure in the application??? In the application i hv introduced the business components and i hv attached the procedure in the application like "Offline Database Source" I hv to attach each database source like this? is it right way which i am following to call the procedure??

have a look at the developer guide of how to invoke stored procedures and functions. Instead of basing the query for the login form on a VO you use a stored procedure of function in a client method exposed on the VO or AM

How to call one procedure from another procedure

Could anyone give me clue how to call a procedure contains out parameters
from another procedure.
I had following procedures.
1)

Not sure what are you doing, you can not assign cursor to another cursor, may be you are looking for this?

I know nada of Jasper, but it took a couple of seconds to find out that calling stored procedures aren't supported.
There are number of articles describing work-arounds for that.

Hi Can any Expert help ?
I want to put third party Jar into my application but i have some problem occur.
1. how to call jar with parameter in application ?
2. when i exit the third party jar task, it will exit my main task too. How to set my main tast exit stats standalone ?
3. I have over 10 jar files in one application, how can i set a classpath for client to call JNLP, instread of load all jar to client before run.

1) Sounds like you are trying to launch the third party from it's application main instead of using it as an API How does your code interact with it or is that not important?. You don't call a jar, you load a class. You could use a exec http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/java/lang/Runtime.html to run the java launcher and pass it all it's command line stuff(But this may not be possible security wise via WebStart).
2) if it is launched in the same JVM and it calls a System.exit there is nothing you can do about your app closing too. It would need to be in another instance of the JVM
3) Under the resources tag you can have as many jar tags as needed.

I have stored procedure with multiple OUT and IN parameters.But i want to use only one parameter to call the procedure, for example:

How to configure release procedure for rate contract following are the requirements
they are two release codes c1 & c2 <=100000,>=100000
                if c1 is not there c2 has to be approved
     Change in the value of the rate contract contract
     Change in the validity of the rate contract
     Addition of deletion of line items
While using a non u2013 released rate contract in the PO an error message should shoot out.
Also the logic should be changed while using the rate contract in the PO.
The usage of the rate contract should be till the validity of the rate contract. i.e. the measurement should be end date of the rate contract and the PO creation date and not the delivery date of the PO. &
It should be possible to refer existing valid rate contracts in purchase orders.

In SAP rate contract is known as value contract denoted with wk. The release procedure for rate contract is same as that of other contracts and scheduling agreements. The tables for contracts will vary with SA (Scheduling agreement) .You may try and maintain condition records based on the customer combination and maintian the validity date of condition records as per your requirement.For contract and PO will have the same header/item table as EKKO/EKPO, and the release
class in standard is the same FRG_EKKO, you can use the same for contract.
To distinguish if it's a contract or PO, EKKO-BSART can be used.
For contract EKKO-BSART will be MK or WK, while PO will have NB/UB etc..
You can restrict the document type to set up the release strategy for only contract.
Of cause, you can also create your own release class Z* for contract copying standard
one FRG_EKKO via CL01/Class type 032, and then assign the class Z* to customizing:

You can create a wrapper package on top of the API (hr_location_api.create_location)
In the wrapper package you set all the values dynamically based on your requirements(say the style and add_line columns are populated on your conditions) and then you call the API.

How to change Apple ID for all applications in iPad2?

I have changed Apple ID via Settings > Store > Apple ID > Sign out my old Apple ID > Sign in with my new Apple ID.... But, by this method, Apple ID in iCloud, Facetime, and iMessage isn't changed follow to my new one! Do I misunderstand about changing ID? and How to change Apple ID for these applications?
PS. I do not want to do hard reset my iPad2

Go into Settings > iCloud > Account > Change to your new Apple ID
Settings > Messages > Recieve At > New Apple ID
Settings > Facetime > Change to new Apple ID
