How to call BSP page in one frame from a webdynpro page in another frame?
Dear experts,
I have a scenario as follows:
A BSP application which contains 5 frames. in the first frame I am calling a web Dynpro application. This is a tree and it is displayed correctly. on click of an item (node item) in the tree, a bsp page should be displayed in the second frame. I am not able to display this in the second frame. When I call the BSP page, it is getting displayed in the same frame (i.e, the first frame).

From WDA you can't force the navigation of a different frame. Nor should you really be building an application with WDA running within a frame. You will have session management problems.
SAP recommendation is to use the NetWeaver Portal. You could then place the WDA and BSP applications into separate iViews. They can communicate with each other using Portal Eventing.

How to call the task flow one region from another region?
I have page with 3 regions (column wise) named as start, center, end.
currently I having task flow for middle(i.e, center) region which have panelCollection to perform view, create, & delete functions.
Task flow:-
From(action)To
View(create)Create
Create(Done)Execute (Execute is a method call)

By press create button on Center page, task flow takes to the Create page(in Centre region) but all other regions(start, end) remains same.
I have a usecase where we have a commandLink on Start region to show the View page on Center region. but it is not able to achieve when we move to Create/Edit page.
Plz help me out to built the same.

First, I'm not sure that your page layout is adequate. The regions are not intended to be navigated from outside. Yet, they can send navigation action to the container (page on which the region is placed) through Parent Action taskflow element. Also, you can investigate Contextual Events that can be raised by region, but I'm also not sure that this can be easily used for cross-region navigation.
I would suggest you to reconsider you page layout. You can use dynamic regions (which are populated by taskflow based on menu selection or click on actionLink or s button). This way, in the Start facet you place a navigation menu (links), which are connected with dynamic region in Center. If you want to reuse a navigation links (in Start), you can put all this in page template and reuse it over and over again.

In my program, I subract one array from another. It should be like X(i) - Y(i)
Can someone explain to me how I can make sure that I'm subracting ith value of array 2 from the ith value of array one? Not , for example, X(i)- Y(i+1)?

How to call an ABAP based web service from a web page (form)
Hi,
I am trying to figure out how I can call my own developed ABAP based web service. I was able to successfully test it in the WS navigator and am now wondering what I need to do to embed the service call in a plain simply web page (form). Basically I'd like to create a web form allowing to specify the parameters and with a 'Submit' button pass the parameters to the web service and launch it.
Is this possible or do I need some kind of SDK to accomplish this?

It is possible to have more than one main window in a same page.
You create a main window and simply you copy and past it in the same page.. it will create first main window name as MAIN and other main windows as MAIN01,MAIN02.... up to MAIN99.
Contets flow from MAIN , MAIN01, MAIN02.......................MAIN99. contents after filling the current window it flows to next window(by default, you skip as well with some keyword not sure could be NEW-WINDOW)
you want print the main window data twice? or you want to create two main window in the same page ?
1. give two copies in the no of copies in the output type screen ( Which pop up is coming after excute the program ).
2. create two page with the same script form.
3. you can write the coding inside the program to print twice the same page.

Cookie Basics
Web browsers have built in rules for receiving and sending cookies. When a browser makes a request to a web server and the web server returns cookies with the response, the browser will only accept a cookie if the domain associated with the cookie matches that of the original request. Its not possible to call a method from view to View.
Since view is private entity we can not pass the data directly.
I suggest you to declare the method in Component/Custom controller and call.
the code is,

I have a situation where I need to call AM method (setDefaultSubInv) from Managed bean, under Value change Listner method. Here is what I am doing, I have added AM method on to the page bindings, then in bean calling this

This works and able to call this method if there are no parameters. Say I have to pass a parameter to AM method setDefaultSubInv(String a), i tried calling this from the bean but throws an error

I am not sure this is the right way to call the method with parameters. Can anyone tell how to call a AM method with parameters from Manage bean

2- Add it to Page Def.

i've some problem in calling a method of one class from another class within the same package.
for eg. if in Package mypack. i'm having 2 files, f1 and f2. i would like to call a method of f2 from f1(f1 is a servlet) . i donno exactly how to instantiate the object for f2. can anybody please help me in this regard.

i've created a bean (DataBean) to access the database. i'm having a servlet program (ShopBook). now to check some details over there in the database from the servlet i'm in need to use a method in the DataBean.
both ShopBook.java and DataBean.java lies in the package shoppack.
in ShopBook i tried to instantiate the object to DataBean as
DataBean db = new DataBean();
it shows the compiler error, unable to resolve symbol DataBean.
note:
first i compiled DataBean.java, it got compiled perfectly and the class file resides inside the shoppack.
when i'm trying to compile the ShopBook its telling this error.
hope i'm clear in explaining my problem. can u please help me?

How can I select more than one song from the search results?
I want to create playlists based on certain words in the song title. For example, I may want to create a playlist of all my songs with LOVE in the title.
Doing the search is easy, but I can't select more than one song at a time. Is there any way in iTunes 12 for Windows to do this? I found an answer in iTunes for Mac, and it basically says to "un-check "Search Entire Library." " but I don't see that option in iTunes for Windows.

I'm making a handdrawn animation in the timeline using video layers, so each video layer contains the frames for the animation. The method works great..except for this -
If lasso select a section of one frame and try to paste into another frame, it duplicates the the whole frame and pastes it with an arbitrary long frame duration for some reason (not the same duration as the frame its copied from)....not at all what I'm trying to do. Any work around? I've tried all the variations of 'paste special' to no avail.
Thanks.Images and other object can either be floating or be inline. Yours are floating and will not move with the text. Inline object will move with the text but can't be outside the text layer. It doesn't help if you have created section in the document. Floating images doesn't care. Nor will it help if you create several documents that you want to merge later. Doesn't make any difference.
My suggestion is that until your text is finished you have the images inline. Then as a last editing you can start make the images floating and move them a little. -
