How to call Call Contracts in SRM from webdynpro?

Hi experts ,
I have requirement where in one custom developed (Z)webdynpro component offers users a Link ( Link to action ) This link should open the SAP Contract in SRM 5.0 (ITS)
Please provide hints or solution how proceded ?

If i am not wrong then u want to open some SRM page through webdynpro application by using link to url element.
If yes then its very easy .Just use that elemnt with following properties.

Calling a Report/Transaction iview from Webdynpro..

Hi all,
          Our first issue is we have a scenareio, where we need to execute reports(ABAP Program) from webdynpro. Is it possibile to execute a standard report from webdynpro? using JCO. Also tell me how to pass the input/output parameters.I am not allowed to create RFC.I can use only standard BAPI.
          Our second issue is we created one transaction type callable object, and we want to call this transaction callable object from webdynpro, in another callable object in GP. Is this Possibile in webdynpro. We tried using portal navigation, but it is working for normal webdynpro iviews only, not for url iviews also.
          Does any body know the answer for the above issues. please let us know.

1) it is not possible in web dynpro to call abap reports, what you can do is creating wrapper of Remote enabled FM around the report. But you dont have authorisation to create BAPI, so gotta take use of standard BAPIs.

Updating purchasing contracts in SRM from external system ( XI )

Hello friends,
We have a requirement to update / create purchasing contracts in SRM from external system ie e-sorcing . We are getting the structure of contract from
xi proxy.
We are using function modules
BBP_PD_CTR_CREATE
BBP_PD_CTR_UPDATE
to create / update contracts.
The issue is , how we will come to know an existing contract is got updated in
the external system and , is there any function module/ bapi available to get those
updated contract records or is there any way to do this.
It would be great if anybody can provide some helpful information.

Are you trying to transfer local SRM contract to ECC system?.
GOA can distribute to backend system as a process contracts and scheduling agreement right?
local process contract only for SRM system right ? you can not push local contract to backend .
However you can bring backend ECC contract to SRM .
what is your business requirement ? which version are you working on?
since SRM2007 purhase contracts and GOA 's are merged to form a single central contract which is available for sourcing localy in srm and can also be distributed to different backend ECC systems.

Calling a method in Class from webdynpro

Hi All,
I have to perform some action when i click the button created in my webdynpro screen.
However I must not write the code for the button action inside the button event. But I have to create a class and inside the class i have to create the method for this button event.
Can anyone tell me how to call a method in a class created in SE24 from webdynpro on clicking the button.

When you want to perform some action after clicking a Button, then you have to write the code only in 'Events' - 'On Action' event. From your question, i assume that, you wanna use Assistance class in your webdynpro so as to increase better performance. How to automatically actualize UWL after return from WebDYNPRO?

in the universal worklist (uwl) i have configured a workstep to open a Web Dynpro application instead of the SAP GUI. This works fine and i can process the Workflow.
But after processing of workstep I returns to the UWL using

In the UWL there is non relevant item (item that was processed in WebDynpro) and it angers users.
It is possible to actualize UWL automatically after return from WebDYNPRO application? WebDYNPRO is opened in the same window and frame as UWL.

Followed what vinay and Timo sugguested:
One solution is to use a af:dialog in the popup where you define a dialogListener to catch the outcome of the dialog and if it's OK you call your other method.
I wrote method code in back bean like this:

What's more, I found even if I use bounded workflow calling instead of using popup dialog calling, the returnListener wasnot executed either.
And there is still a issue in the popup Dialog: The strange behavior of checkbox selection, see the thread:

I tried and put aside for some days, and have no idea yet.

Calling XI's SOAP Adapter from Webdynpro for java

I have implemented a webservice scenario which involves soap message exchange,,I have checked the configuration from configuration tool -- it seems fine there -- than we had a check run from XML spy, using the WSDL generated by XI,,, that went through as well,, but now when I am trying to call the webservice through webservice adaptive model in NWDS, it returns :

When portal server is installed, it assigns a specific port for running the portal. Normally the port is 500XX when xx is your instance number. There seems to be some problem in your case.
Please carry out following steps to see/resolve the issue:
1. Open the visual administrator
2. Navigate to Dispatcher -> Services -> HTTP Provider
This HTTP Provider specifies the ports used by portal.
You change the ports to something like : (Port:80,Type:http)(Port:443,Type:ssl)
Save your settings and now open the browser and open the portal like http://<host>/irj/portal (because 80 is default port). If you specify some other port you need to enter like http://<host>:<port>/irj/portal
This should resolve your issue:

When to call a BAPI inputexecute method from webdynpro-java?

Hello... I'm a little concerned about a situation I'm having. The thing is that I'm trying to use the Bapi_Qualiprof_Change bapi with some test and hard coded data for a future application. It works fine if I fill the input profile_add table in the init() method of my view and then directly call the onActionModifyQualification method (inside the same init() where i filled the parameters).
On the contrary, if I change the code that intializes the data to the onActionModifyQualification or create an special method to initialize it wich is called later with an action button, then it doesn't work.
After many test I noticed that i have to call the bapi execute method right in the init... is there something I can do to fix it? or is it that i must do it in order to make it work?
I have my controller's context mapped to the bapi's model and the view context mapped to the controller's one.... is it good or do i have to build a similar structure to capture the parameters before and then copy the values into the controller's context??

Thanks for your answer, but it doesn't let me do that because wdModifyView is static. Therefore if 2 people are trying to use it, it's goning to be all mixed up, isn't it?
Anyway, what I really want is executing the bapi when I press the button (that's when it should call the action that calls the bapi). But it only works if I call the action in the init method.

I trying to call a Interactive adobe form from ABAP Webdynpro application but I am facing the below error.

Hello, are you sure you have your ADS credentials configured correctly and valid? I guess you know that is the only difference between clicking enabled on true or false. If you are not sure, you can use SE38, search for FP_* and pick some reports to check the licencing. The names of the reports are good enough to recognize the right one.
Or maybe that is a security problem? Have you checked the ADS_ERROR string? Did you use the ADS trace?

-i know that it's not necessary to upload the materials in srm, and they can stay in r3 and mdm, and you can watch them in the catalog and srm.
here's my doubt,
does it exist something similar with the contracts? or they must be uploaded in srm?

It is standard replication of materials & contract.
it can be done manually (or) thro ' a job which runs daily to upload the materials in SRM from SAP R/3

am doing same thing for my current SRM implementation.I am taking data to SRM server from another R/3 server .
This is solution I have used
1) First of all I have made ABAP connection in SM59 .
Go to SM59 .In ABAP Connection creat ABAP connection with system with which u want communicate .
Eg I am connection with Systems PB1.
So i developed Connection call PB1CLNT800.
2) In my requirement I have taken data in my context from another r/3,
I have give called RFC in my supply function of node.
Call to RFC is as usual.
In my case,
CALL FUNCTION 'RFC_MATNR'
DESTINATION 'PB1CLNT800'
TABLES
IT_MATNR = IT_MATNR.
Onwards I have read my itab IT_MATNR and populated data to context.
Hope solution will serve your purpose.
Give point if it works .If any problem i have other ways.
