  • Facing issue in calling BPEL WebService from ADF page.

    Considering example:
I have a Login Page (Login.jspx) with two input text, UserID & Password and one Login Button. On press of login Button It will call a BPEL service for validating the user and will return a String value with Success or Failure as value. Depending on this value I will decide inside Managed Bean response will go to which path.
    Took the reference of http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/fusion_middleware/fusion/adf_wc/10_132_siebel_webcenter/siebel_webcenter.htm
Using this I am able to call BPEL from my ADF page and able to show the result on different ADF page, but not able to take the BPEL returned value inside the managed bean.
Please help me how to take BPEL output value inside my managed bean.

  • How to call webservice from Java application

    Hi XI gurus
Pls let me know how to call a webservice from Java application.
I wanted to build synchronous interface from Java Application to SAP using SAP XI
For example, i need to create Material master from Java application and the return message from SAP, should be seen in Java application
    Regards
    MD

    Hi,
If your  JAVA Application is Web based application, you can expose it as Webservice.
JAVA People will pick the data from Dbase using their application and will send the data to XI by using our XI Details like Message Interface and Data type structure and all.
So we can Use SOAP Adapter or HTTP in XI..
If you use HTTP for sending the data to XI means there is no need of Adapter also. why because HTTP sits on ABAP Stack and can directly communicate with the XI Integration Server Directly
If you are dealing with the Webservice and SAP Applications means check this

There is an easy way to do it. Just use JavaScript and Java based webservice.
Copy the webservice jar in location where the IDM console is located.
Add path to jar file in IDM console configuration.
If your webservice looks like this:
Import jar in your JavaScript code like this:
    Execute it like this:

  • How to call webservice from OAF

    Hi,
I need to call a webservice in one of my custom OAF page. I am very new to OAF and Java and have no idea about how webservice works.
Does anybody has any example of that, are there any setups I need to perform.
I will appreciate if someone can share the step by step instruction with some example. I think having some example will really help me understand the process.
    Regards
    Hitesh

    Hitesh,
Nothing out of the box for calling web services. There were a few discussions in the past and you may find some sample there.

  • How can i reset another page when call it from a page

I use JDeveloper 10.3 to develop my application. And I want to reset value of UI component (inputtex, selectInputDate . . .) of a page when i call it from another page.
    Thanks!

You can execute a method in "backing bean/Application module" on page load which can set the value of the UI components. Following link can help you to

  • Propagation of Credentials from ADF Pages to BPEL

It is easy and straightforward to call web services from ADF pages. But I am a bit confused about the security issues around use of BPEL and OWSM with ADF.
Suppose that I have authenticated against an LDAP to access an ADF page and the page make calls to a BPEL process through a button. As far as I know I should implement security in the web services through OWSM and in this case I can attach an agent to the web service to authenticate against LDAP. (or verify a SAML token)
Problem: I can't pass credentials to the process from the page. the web service does not receive any SAML token, user name or pass word to authenticate.
Also please read this for another view of the same problem:
Security of Web Services, Agents and Sequantial Calling of Web Services
How can I pass the SAML tokens(propagate identity) along the business process. If I insert SAML token as part of the agent's response steps, the response is not actually passed to the next service but the BPEL. Will the next service receive the SAML token?
I really appreciate any comments and hints.
    Best Regards,
    Farbod

Can message handler framework in BPEL Security extension help for this? Does enabling domain and process level security do the trick?
    Regards
