How to change bottom axis SharePoint PerformancePoint analytic chart dynamic
Hi,
I have created SharePoint PerformancePoint analytic chart. By default I am showing the chart for last 4 weeks data. But data source would contains last 8 weeks data.
My end users wants to select the week as per their required.
Is it possible to change the bottom axis?
Could anybody tell?

Hi Poomani,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to show the SharePoint PerformancePoint analytic chart for last 4 weeks data.
For your issue, you need to consider use MDX expression.
The following MDX expression displays the last 4 fiscal years from current fiscal year. When the fiscal year changes so does the filter data. Note that for this MDX expression to work, the date dimension must have
current attributes defined.
(EXISTS([Date].[Fiscal Year].Children,[Date].[Current Fiscal Year].&[Y]).Item(0).LAG(-4)

How to change z axis limits programmatically
Could you show how to change z-axis limits (min and max) programmatically in the attached VI? It is a simple VI that uses the 3D plot. Would it be the same on x and y axes as well? Would really appreciate your insights. Thanks.

I don't have LV 7 installed so I can't post the VI sorry.. here's the short answer to your question, you have to use property and method nodes from the ActiveX palette (see screen shot), item 0 is scale X, item 1 is scale Y and item 2 is scale Z.
More generally there are loads of threads dedicated to 3D graph issues, just do a forum search .

Does somebody know how to change the Axis of a BIBeans Graph in a JavaApplication? i want to change the dimension which appears in the graph with one of the page dimensions. is that possible? how?
greetz pm1. You could use waveform chart and use the Property Node for changing X0.
2. You could use Waveform Grpah and actually wire in BOTH X & Y values.
3. You could use the Offset Proprty Node of the waveform graph, as shown in the attached vi.

How to change the Display Pattern for Decimal Fields dynamically

Can any one help me how to change the display pattern for decimal fields dynamically???
Currently I am using z,zzz,zzz,zz9.999 Display pattern for Quantity Field. If the value is blank it is displaying as 0.000 on the Screen. But I don't want this to be printed.
Please help me how to solve this ASAP.

Alternatively you can handle it in the context.
In the context area, click on the quantity. In the bottom, click on the conditions tab, and put a condition
<quan field> NE initial.
So the field will not be printed if there is no value.

In your scenario, you create a Performance Point Analytic Chart, now the requirement is that limit the Performance Point Analytic Chart drill down dimensions, right?
As you know, to limit the drill down dimensions, we can created a perspective in the cube that limited the visible dimensions to those couple of dimensions. In your scenario, you said that you need change my system from SQL Server 2008 R2 to SQL Server 2012
for Perspective, right? We can create a Perspective on SQL Server 2008 R2 version. The links below might help.

Hi,
I have Performance Point Analytic Chart.
I am doing drill down the bar with one of dimension. System showing all the dimension values instead of correspond values.
Unwanted dimensions are showing like blank in the chart.
How to over come this.

Change the Axis Labels of a Chart
The Chart-Series are generate through AS (Multiple PlotSeries and 1 LineSeries). I managed to Update the Visuell Areas (in this example to manipulate Vertical Axis (minimum/maximum values to be shown).
No I have 3 Questions about to manipulate this Chart with AS3:
I would like to remove nearly all "Ticks" and "Labels" from the Axis. At the End only the min/max and 0-Label-Value on the vertical Axis should be displayed. And on the vertical Axis, I would like only to have the min/max-Label and 100-Value.
The Chart-Lines (in the Screen above) only 2 Lines should be visible. v-Axis = 100 and x-Axis=0 (just as a Cross over the Chart)
The Linear Serie (just a Value of a Funktion like x=y*2) should have no Tooltip if you go MouseOver-it. And the Legend of this Serie should not be displayed in the Legend. How can I delete the Legend, and how can I preserve a DataTip over this LineSerie?

1. IAxis interface have labelFunction (see docs for details and parameters for it). You can check the value to be labeled and return empty string if you don't want to show this value in axis. Axis you get from chart.getAxis(name). But there is not any warranty that always 0 will be shown. You showl implement your own IAxis to show only specific values. (Or search it in internet)
2. You should remove all these grid lines and create CartasianDataCanvas this lines at 0 and 100 and put it to annotationElements of the chart.
3. If you don't want to see all data from chart in Legend you should create an array with legend data only from serieses you want to see. Chart has a property legendData from all serieses. You can filter this array or create new array with legendData from serieses you want to see. And set this array as a dataProvider to Legend.

How to change time out settings in Analytic Provider Service...
... or how to disable automatic disconnect between APS and essbase server (using XMLA interface).
First a short summary:
We would like to use a third party product to analyze data (DeltaMaster from Bissantz). This product uses the XMLA interface provided by Analytic Provider Service. Mostly the connection works, I can choose one of our cubes, sometimes a drill down is possible, but sometimes the following error occurs:
"Microsoft.AnalysisServices.AdomdClient.AdomdErrorResponseException: (1042006): Network Error [10061] Unable To Connect To [entwgdw.hres.de:33769]. The client timed out waiting to connect to the Essbase Agent using TCP/IP. Check youer network connections. Also please make sure that Server and Port values are correct [...]"
I have already talked to the Bissantz support concerning this issue and the recommended me to increase the APS time out settings and/or to disable the automatic disconnect between APS and essbase server after every query.
The question is: Is this possible and if yes: How and where can I change these settings???

AndréYou could look at updating the essbase.properties file in the APS installation directory.
olap.server.netRetryCount=600
olap.server.netConnectRetry=3
olap.server.netDelay=200
olap.server.netSocketTimeOut=200
Update then restart APS
Though this might not be the issue if on windows, it may be down to the amount of ports being used, have a read [here |http://timtows-hyperion-blog.blogspot.com/2007/12/essbase-api-error-fix-geeky.html ] for a possible fix.

VinodThe browser title gets pulled from the WD Application Description. Currently there is no API to change the browser title from within WDA. Next year in 7.02 we do add such an API. Here is an example of what will be possible in 7.02:

Setting the title on a View is easier. You can just use a Tray or Group UI element as the root of your view and set the title property of the UI element dynamically by context binding to the property.
