How to change page header in mode_show_help?

How can I change the page header on the page that gets opened by calling mode_show_help? I'd like to have the help pages maintain the consistancy of the look of the portal.

Hi Anuj,
The business service and proxy are not http transport based, they are jca transport based. So default is UTF-8.
And more over they are updating the response which they got from the previous osb service using osb service 2. This is the case. Front end team using java to code their applications.
Service1 Output: Jca transport
<OutputParameters xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/adapter/db/BGN/KBGN_API_WEB_PORTAL/PBGN_SEARCH_ADDRESS/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
<P_NM_STREET_TYPE>Área Especial</P_NM_STREET_TYPE>
<P_NM_STREET>
Rodovia DF-001 (Gama ao Recanto das Emas)
</P_NM_STREET>
<P_DE_COMPLEMENT>CAUB I</P_DE_COMPLEMENT>
<P_NM_DISTRICT xsi:nil="true"/>
<P_NM_LOCALITY>Gama</P_NM_LOCALITY>
<P_CD_STATE>
DF
</P_CD_STATE>
<P_RETORNO>E0000</P_RETORNO>
<P_MENSAGEM xsi:nil="true"/>
</OutputParameters>
They get these values using java code and update these using service2 that also a jca transport based. The problem is in updating these values.

    How to change page order in Acrobat Porfolio? In older versions it use to be much easier to drag and drop the page order. I don't see any menu options on arranging the pag order. Any ideas? Thanks.
    I would post a screenshot but they have been disabled on these forums.

    You should ask in the Reader forum. But my guess is that Reader there is nothing you can do. Acrobat allows you to move pages around, but not Reader.

  • How to Change Journal Header name to Custom Header Name while GL Importing?

    Hello Experts,
    I am in situation where customer wanted to keep their own journal header naming conventions to imported journals in Oracle GL for custom Journal sources.
    As I know while importing journals, Oracle Creates the Journal Name based on the below mentioned logic.
    "Journal Import creates a default journal entry name using the following format:
    (Optional User-Entered REFERENCE4)(Category Name)(Currency)
    (Currency Conversion Type, if applicable)
    (Currency Conversion Rate, if applicable)
    (Currency Conversion Date, if applicable) (Encumbrance Type ID, if applicable)
    (Budget VersionID, if applicable). If you enter a journal entry name,
    Journal Import prepends the first 25 characters of your journal entry name to
    the above format"
    But then How it is possible to only allow journal header Name to be used present in REFERENCE4 excluding all other string provided by Oracle? Instead of using omitted string custmoer wanted to keep their own parameters. Example - REFERENCE4.A.B.C etc.
    Is it possible to solve this using seeded setup or modifying some hook packages or anything else?
    As far as I know there can be one workaround to be use of updating journal header name after journal import being completed successfully for custom journal source. But only fear is Oracle doesnt allow updating the base table without API. Am I rght?
    So it would be really great if anyone of you can suggest the best solution or best possible workaround.
    Thanks

    Hi!
    You have to define more header objects.
    You can use conditions, which object appears. You can use a flag variable for this: gv_header_flag.
    Based on this gv_header_flag, you can tell the Smartform, which header to print.
    And you have to fill gv_header_flag with correct values in some ABAP code, entered into your Smartform, before you print your header.

  • How to change the header and footer in the Section Breaks Next Page using OpenXML?

    I have a word document file in which I added a Section Break of Next Page, now I want to change the header and footer of that page.

    document.InsertSectionPageBreak();
    Paragraph p1 = document.InsertParagraph();
    p1.Append("This is new section");

  • How to change the header in all pages at once?

    I'm new to iWeb and can't figure out how to change the headers of all pages without having to go through and do it to every page. There should be a way, but is this a feature iWeb doesn't have?

    How can I change the page header on the page that gets opened by calling mode_show_help? I'd like to have the help pages maintain the consistancy of the look of the portal.
    thanks,
    adam

    ... and the answer is...
    that the help page called from the built in portlet header can not really be changed, aside from replacing the image on the middle tier. What I'm doing is creating a procedure that will build the portlet header, the procedure will accept 2 parameters, the title of the portlet and the name of the help file. Thanks to Peter Moskovits for his help in crafting this solution.

  • Dynamically changing page heading

    Hi,
       I need to change my page heading dynamically how can i do that one.
    For example i have a view which contains a view container and four buttons like create, change... When i press a button the appropriate page heading should come.
    I am expecting to ur valuable answer.
    Regards...
    Arun.

    Hi Arun,
    As far as I know, you cannot change the page heading (if you are referring to the heading on the IE window) dynamically, as it is the name of your application.
    However, you can use a PageHeader UI Element (at the top in ur RootUIElementContainer) and bind the 'title' property to an attribute in your context. You can change this attribute, depending on any events that occur.

  • How to change column heading in line item report

    Hello Experts,
    How to change the column heading in the line item report CJI4 or CJI3  ?
    for eg: The field WBS will show as Object in the heading. Here  I would like to change to WBS.
    Is there a way to do this without changing ABAP code
    FATMAN

    Not possible through standard I guess.
    Enhancement you should be looking is COOMEP01 which includes the component EXIT_SAPLKAEP_009
    i.e., Line Item Reports: Customer-specific Formatting of the Lists.You use this enhancement to modify column headings.

  • XI Pro: How to change page size?

    I have a letter-sized document where each page has extremely large margins and text in a tiny font size. Can I use the 'Remove White Margins' function (Crop pages > Set Page Boxes) to remove the large margins and then resize what remains back to 8.5" x11" using the 'Change Page Size' function?
    When I try this, I can do the first step and I'm left with pages about 5.5"x8". But the Change Page Size function does not allow me to resize the page.
    It this possible?

  • How to change page orientation in Pages?

    Hi,
    I would like to change page orientation for Just one page inside a document.
    Say I have page 3 that I want to be landscape and not vertical, how can I do it?
    I haven't been able to find this in Pages, I found it in Word though.
    Any idea?

    The rotation in Preview is just a simple command in the .pdf. It all seems to sort itself out in printing, Acrobat has the occasional odd moment where pages are rotated from their real orientation. It is like the "cropping" in .pdf files which really doesn't cut anything off it just changes the bounding box so what you see appears to be cropped.

  • How to suppress page header when rendering particular group footer

    Description:  I am using Crystal Reports 2008.  I have a report with a page header, and several groupings.  The groups all suppress their headers, but have footers.  The grouping is in the order:  type,county,city,status,parent.  The first 3 footers force a new page before the footer.  The county footer includes summaries and charts.
    Problem:  The client wants the header displayed for the detail and the header for the county footer to be different.  How can I make this happen?
    More Info:  I currently have just a page header.  I have tried messing with the suppress formula for the page header, but I cannot figure out the correct formula to use to suppress the page header on a county footer page.  Is there a way to do this, or is there a completely different approach I should be taking to solve this?
    I can provide more info if needed.
    Google search was unhelpful in solving this problem.  This problem is driving me nuts.  Any help appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Michael

    What i would suggest is to create a new variable in WhilePrintingRecords evaluation time. For example:
    1. Boolean variable set to TRUE in Group Footer #2 (County)
    2. Reset it to FALSE in Group Header #2 and Group Footer#1
    3. Use the variable for conditional suppression

  • Change page header based on group being printed

    I have a report that is grouping by two fields, field A & B.  When the report is printing group A I would like the page header to be "Group A Header" when the report is printing the groups for field B I would like the page header to be "Group B Header".  I can't seem to find a way to change the header based on which group is being printed.  If I do "If GroupNumber = 1 Then "Group A Header"" it prints "Group A Header for the first group and the first record of the second field group.
    Basically what I am trying to do is create a report that has a chart that is un-grouped followed by charts that are grouped.  I've accomplished this by creating a formula that is always true for the un-grouped chart and adding it as a group.  below that I have a field group for the charts I want filtered by group.   When the un-grouped charts are printed I want the page header to reflect that, when the grouped charts are printed I want the page header to contain the group name.

    Not enough info. Try CR 2008 it has more control over printing.

    HP 8600 911g - connected to Imac 24; Maverick OS; how does one change pages printing order

    Hi Dave 6373,
    I understand you have an Officejet 8600 that you're using with 10.9 and would like to know how to change the order the pages print in. I will do my best to assist you in resolving this issue!
    From my browsing our 10.9 Mac I was able to find the setting I believe you are looking for. You will want to open the program/document you're printing with and select File and Print. You will then see a screen similar to the one in the screen shot below. You'll want to select Paper Handling and then under page order change it as you wish. You can also save this as a preset by clicking where it says Default settings (next to Presets: ) and choosing the Save option.
    Hope this helps, have a great day!!
    Please click “Accept as Solution ” if you feel my post resolved your issue, as it will help others find the solution faster
    Click the “Kudos Thumbs Up" on the right to say “Thanks” for helping!

    HI.
    I'd like to change language coding 'charset=gb2312' to 'charset=big5' and don't need to add neither 'big5' language package or unicode in server

    'big5' is not working because the response header is set as 'gb2312'.
    and as I said before don't need to install lanaguage package to server.
