There are various way to find the background load.
1. SM37 - Will show you the active Background job.
2. SM50/SM66 - Will show you the work process load, where you can find the Work Process Type - BGD.
3. ST03N - Will show you the work load for Background job.

You need to wait until the image is loaded before you can try to ffind its width. To do that you need to use the contentLoaderInfo property of the Loader class
imageLoader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, manageImage);
The manageImage event handler function is where you can check things since it is triggered after the object is loaded.

How to check parallel work items status of a workflow

Hi Experts,
In a standard workflow, there is a task which can create a workitem to different agents by agents determination.
As per standard workflow, once the workitem have been opened by any user, the same workitem will disappear from all others inbox. Now there is a need of changing the workflow to perform the task by everyone. For this I am using BLOCK step with parforeach. In the definition, workflow completion is doing based on document status. If any one processed the task, then the doc status will change and then workflow will be in complete state. Now along with this workflow, all other unprocessed workitems are getting closed automatically. So there is any way/function module to check the status of all workitems of a workflow to check same before workflow completion step.

In the definition, workflow completion is doing based on document status. If any one processed the task, then the doc status will change and then workflow will be in complete state.
How is this achieved in your copy workflow? Are you listening to an event in the workflow which gets triggered when the doc status is changed? Are you checking a condition? What is the technique followed to check that status and complete the workflow?
Depending on this, there can be different ways to bypass it till the last approval.

write: sy-tabix.
check ctr = 3.
delete itab
endloop.
options:
      1 2 3 4
      1 2 4 5

the answer is 1 2 3 3 4.

Here is the explanation for ur logic.
Initially ctr = 0.
1st record of itab:   ctr becomes 1. and sy-tabix = 1.
                              Check condition fails as ctr <> 3. so control goes back to starting of the loop.
2nd record of itab : ctr = 2, sy-tabix = 2. once again condtion fails ctr <> 3. control goes back to the starting of the loop.
3rd record of itab (3rd loop) : ctr = 3, sy-tabix = 3. Check condition satisfies ctr = 3. So itab record (3rd record) gets deleted. i.e., now 4th record will become as 3rd record.
4th loop : As 4th record replaced as 3rd record. the values will be as follows
                  ctr = 4, sy-tabix = 3. Check condition fails as ctr = 4, but not 3.
Hence the result till 4th loop is : 1 2 3 3
For the next loop, result will be 1 2 3 3 4

Yes, Rolf is right.
For every patch run there is a sapsetup<n>.log.
Look at the file timestamp for the sequence.
But what you see is a very indirect clue what you have installed.
You see a very verbose installation protocol which is obviously targeted to developers of SAPGUI to troubleshoot installation issues...
What they forgot to trace is the name of the patch file...
The clues for the versions involved are texts like
File version of source file is: 6405.5.24.1016
File version of target file is: 6405.5.23.1016
In this case I have updated 6.40 GUI Patch 23 to Patch 24

Hi,
Use 2 FileStream objects in async mode (openAsync). One to
read and another to write. When you read in async mode, you get
progress events. When they fire, you can read bytesAvailable
amounts of data and write that to the output filestream.
The output filestream can listen for output_progress events
to ensure that new data can be written to it or not.

How to find out number of background work processe available in the system?

I have a FM that triggers a background job using JOB_OPEN, ABAP_SUBMIT and JOB_CLOSE. But the problem is if there are no background work processes available at that moment, it does not return error. Not sure whether the job is even scheduled!
Is there a way to find out if there are any background work processes available in the system? I know a FM SPBT_INITIALIZE which gives info about dialog work processes. Is there any other FM similar to this which gives info about background wp??

your Job will remain in a queue by message handler. once workprocess is free, your job gets scheduled
by the way, you can use the functionality used in FM TH_DISPLAY_WORKPROCESS_LIST to read the workprocesses
the command which gets you the workprocess is:
CALL 'ThWpInfo' ID 'OPCODE' FIELD OPCODE_WP_LIST
ID 'TAB' FIELD LIST_STATE_WPLST-TABL
ID 'CPU' FIELD LIST_STATE_WPLST-CPU.
check how its written in include LSDEBF01, form SET_LIST_WPLST

How to check if the GPS Antenna works?!?!?

Dear all,
I've a "small" problem.
As most of you have experienced I cannot fix the signal from the satellite.
I tried everything...45°, open sky (I tried even in open sea!!!) etc...
So my doubt is the following: how can I be sure that my antenna is working?
Do you know if a SW to verify it exists????
Do you know how to check it???
If yes, pleaseeeeee tell me!!

No - there's no software which can tell whether the GPS antenna is working or not. Within Maps v2 in the bottom right hand corner there is an indicator which will let you know once it has obtained a satellite lock - but not whether the actual hardware is working or not.
Having said that I have never come across any instances where the GPS antenna has not worked on a phone. What phone do you have ?
You should definitely have got a lock after 3 hours !
It is definitely worth checking your settings. Make sure you quit Maps before doing this.
Goto the menu, click Tools then Settings.
Then click General and choose Positioning.
Within here click Positioning methods.
Ensure the options below are ticked :
- Assisted GPS
- Integrated GPS
- Network based
However please be aware that for Assisted GPS and network based, your network operators will charge you for any data transmitted.
Then load Maps again and give it some time to get a lock.
Please let me know how you get on.

There are 10 available background work processes in the BW system. We're doing some mass load to multiple ODS.But system uses only 3 background processes. How can i
increase the number of used background work processes for new data load.
I tried to change number of prosesses with RSODSO_SETTINGS. But no successes. Are there any other settings need to change?

I entered the max proc. number into ROIDOCPRMS. But it doesn't make difference. System still uses only 3 of background processes. RSCUSTA2 is replaced with
RSODSO_SETTINGS in BI 7.0 and this trans. can only change the processes for data activation, SID generation and rollback. I need to change the process numbers for data extraction.

Hi Anna,
If you don't want to write queries, I'd suggest you to simply open the project unchecking the option "load resources summary assignments" and go to the task usage view. Then display the project summary task and choose the monthly timeframe ("view"
tab) for the timephased part of the screen (right part).
