    actually everytime i have to logged out from my application and manually i have to delete all files to see the changes.
    please advice.

    You can write something like this:
    (replace "C:/Stuff" with the path of the folder you wish to delete)
    import java.io.*;
    public class FileDeleter
         public static void main(String[] args)
              deleteContentsInFolder("C:/Stuff");
         public static void deleteContentsInFolder(String path)
              File folder = new File(path);
              File[] contents = folder.listFiles();
              for (File f : contents)
                   if (f.isFile())
                        f.delete();
                        System.out.println("Deleted file: " + f);
                   else
                        System.out.println("Cannot delete: " + f);

  • How to Change Paper Type Using Java script

    HI ,
    We have a requirement , in which we have to change the paper type i.e. "A2" , "A3","A4" etc.  while printing using a JavaScript. I have written a code like this :
    xfa.form.form1.pageSet.Page1.medium.stock = "A2"; But this is not working. please help me out.
    Thanks,
    Bhaskar.

    That's the right object for choosing the page size at Design time. What event are you doing this on? Although you can change it in the form model, the form's page size is already determined from the template by the time you have a form to script against, so although you can change it via script after the fact in XFA, I don't believe it will have any impact. Even putting it on the layout ready event does not work.

  • How to get the values from struct data type using java code..?

    Hi ,
    I am newer to java.
    we are using oracle database.
    How to get the data from struct data type using java code.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    kumar

    Hi Rajeev,
    To retrieve a FilterContainer you will need to traverse the report structure:
    ReportStructure boReportStructure = boDocumentInstance.getStructure();
    ReportContainer boReportContainer = (ReportContainer) boReportStructure.getReportElement(0);
    FilterContainer boFilterContainer = null;
    if (boReportContainer.hasFilter()) {
         boFilterContainer = boReportContainer.getFilter();
    } else {
         boFilterContainer = boReportContainer.createFilter(LogicalOperator.AND);
    Calling boDocumentInstance.getStructure() will retrieve the entire structure for the document.
    Calling boReportStructure.getReportElement(0) will retrieve the structure for the first report of the document.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Dan

    we can use java exec for executing this system32 vbs script.
    use the below program and pass the command "eventquery"

    JNI. (No.)
    >
    is there any java class available to do this ? or any one having sample code for this?>You will generally get better help around here if you read the documentation, try some sample code and come back with a specific question (hopefully with an SSCCE included).

    Note also that one '?' denotes a question, while 2 or more generally denotes a dweeb.

  • How to print PDF files using java print API

    Hi,
    I was goign throw lot of discusion and reading lot of forums related to print pdf files using java api. but nothing seems to be working for me. Can any one tell me how to print pdf files using java api.
    Thanks in advance

    Mike,
    Can't seem to get hold of the example described in your reply below. If you could let us have the URL to get then it would be great.
    My GUI application creates a pdf document which I need to print. I want to achieve this using the standard Java class PrinterJob (no 3rd party APIs I'm afraid, commercial restraints etc ..). I had a stab at it using the following code. When executed I get the pretty printer dialog then when I click ok to print, nothing happens!
    boolean showPrintDialog=true;
    PrinterJob printJob = PrinterJob.getPrinterJob ();
    printJob.setJobName ("Contract.pdf");
    try {
    if (showPrintDialog) {
    if (printJob.printDialog()) {
    printJob.print();
    else
    printJob.print ();
    } catch (Exception PrintException) {
                   PrintException.printStackTrace();
    Thank you and a happy new year.
    Cheers,
    Chris

  • How to check data type of the field symbol at run time

    Hi,
    My code is as following:
          LOOP AT <fs> ASSIGNING <wa_covp_ext>.

            IF sy-subrc = 0.

                                AND begda LE sy-datum.
             ENDIF.
          ENDIF.
        ENDLOOP.
    This query is giving dump when <f_zzname> is type P length 8 and decimals 2, because it tries to put PA0001-sname into it which is type C length 30. So I want to check the type of <f_zzname> before the select statement. If it is character 30, then I will write the select statement else not.
    How to check data type of the field symbol at run time? If it's not possible, then can somebody suggest a workaround? Thanks.

    check this ...
    write describe statement  ...
    field-symbols : <f_zzname> .
    data : sname like pa0001-sname,
           typ(10).
    assign sname to  <f_zzname>.
    describe  field <f_zzname> type typ.
    write : typ. <-- typ contains character type in this case ..
    U can check if typ is of character(C) if so .. write the select statement ...
