How to choose color marker in intensity plot

Hi There,
I am trying to plot my 2D data file in intensity plot. I want to that color plot should be like Red as maximum value while Green as minimum and 0 value should be yellow. I looked at this example http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/1ADFF221E27F5B5886256E6F007C7B58?OpenDocument , but in this example they are deciding marker beforehand. In my file i want to choose marker based on maxima and minima value.
Thanks
Yogesh

Here's a simple example. I did not change anything execpt to show the z-scale markers with 1 decimal digit (default is zero). This is just cosmetic.

  • How to make a 2d intensity plot?

I'm trying to make an intensity plot as a function of x and y positions.... I have a scanning stage that gives me the positions and I am measuring the intensities at those locations... I have put this on a 3d plot and it comes out nice, however, I need it on an intensity plot with multiple colors.... when trying to do this, I get time on one axis... I was wondering how I could change the axis to x and y for the intensity plot... thanks

Have you tried a set up like this
but instead of random numbers you put in your 2d data
    - there is always an easy way, but it is always the hardest to find

  • How do you update an intensity plot one element at a time?

I would like to use an intensity plot (or other control) to plot data collected from A/D channels. How do you get the Intensity plot to update one element at a time vs. row by row? Tips and suggestions greatly appreciated!

You will need to use the intensity graph and keep the buffer yourself.
Init the data with background values and start filling then in using
Replace Array subset. Presumably you are in a loop. Recirculate the
data in a shift register adding new data each iteration and plotting the
    array to the intensity graph.
Once you get to the horizontal edge, you need to decide if you split the
data to get rid of the first row and append a new background row to the
end making a strip chart, or do you clear the array and start over from
the initial edge again making a scope chart, or do you mod the index
with the buffer size and erase a row at a time in advance making a sweep
    chart.
To update the scales, you don't have to change the data. Just write to
the Offset property each time you scroll and it will relabel the data
with 0 mapping to the offset value.

  • How to put water mark in web dynpro abap Adobe forms

    Hi
Can any body tell me how to put water mark in web dynpro Abap adobe forms ,
actually I need to print water mark as back ground in gray color.

    Hi,
for more information about layout options in forms, go to your form in transaction SFP, layout view and choose Help -> Adobe LifeCycle Designer Help. There you find information on page layout, e.g. " Objects can be placed anywhere on a master page, inside or outside the content area. As a general rule, do not place objects inside the content area unless your intention is to have other objects laid down on top of the master page objects when the form is rendered. If you are setting up a watermark, place it inside the content area. "
Besides, there's an Adobe forum where you might get more information for such Adobe questions.

  • How convert a color PDF File to black & white (gray scale...no color)

How convert a color PDF File to black & white (gray scale...no color)??? creative cloud cs6... Acrobat etc

Hi, just wanted to add my 2¢
I've been in publishing over 25 years and live in Acrobat for making my final files. Currently with a newspaper.
    This is what we do:
    • Tool Panes > Print Production Window
    • Select CONVERT COLORS
    • Midway down under OUTPUT INTENT, check Convert Colors to Output Intent
    • In the associated drop down menu, I choose (because I'm printing on newsprint) DOT GAIN 20% – If you're working on better stock, choose a lower dot gain percentage.
    • Click OK – this will convert the file
    • Save
Note: this affects the file you're working with. Make sure that you use this method on a COPY if you want to retain the original color version.
I think if you compare my method to the Preflight method, you'll see a tighter contrast and better blacks. I've always felt the Preflight method left continuous tones a little muddy.
Now if there was only a way to add that to ACTIONS...!

How to change color of a button for specific time interval in jsp.
    Please help.
    Thanks in advance.

This was driving me crazy, too--and the previous answers did not seem to work. I eventually found that if I click one of the data symbols in the graph in exactly the right spot (see below), it selects only the data symbols and not the line. I can tell this because the little selection dots will be around each data symbol, but no selection dots will be on the line between the data symbols - like the graphic in Yvan's answer. Then and only then will the color symbol in the tool bar show the color of the data symbol, instead of the color of the line. I believe that you then have to first click on the color swatch in the toolbar and then select your color (or choose Show Colors and select from the color tool). Just clicking a color in the crayon box, for example, did not seem to work unless I first clicked on the color swatch in the toolbar, then clicked Show Colors on that dropdown, and +only then+ clicked the crayon or whatever.
_The right spot to click_ seems to be just above the exact center of the data symbol, at least for the diamond shape symbol that I prefer. Sometimes it takes several tries to hit the right spot. If I miss it, the whole line is selected, which is indicated by the little selection dots on the line, between the data symbols. When I click the right spot, those selection dots go away, leaving only the data symbols selected. Then I can change the color, as described above.
I hope this works for you too.

  • How to choose which Aperture duplicate photo to keep

I use Aperture 3.4.5 on an iMac with OS 10.8.4 and, like many others who have written to this community, I have acquired lots of duplicates because some years ago I  moved from iPhoto to Aperture. Those collections are mostly referenced in their original collections. I quite understand how these duplicates came to be.  Using Duplicate Annihilator - Aperture  I have found a great many (4 thousand) pairs of duplicate pictures out of a library of 60 thousand, and as  has been explained by several responders, usually one is called iPhoto Original and the other iPhoto Externally Edited or iPhoto Edited.  I have never knowingly used an external editor, but I do understand that, in iPhoto, just rotating the photo from portrait to landscape will create a copy, something that does not happen with Aperture.  So that is why the dupliocates exist. My question is basically, now that I have found them, how to choose which one of the two versions to keep, because there seems no reason to keep these duplicates.
Obviously if I have made noticeable changes, or added many key words,  then I want to keep that one. The duplicates in question are in  two-photo Stacks. The original will have  a size of 3 MB or 4Mb and the copy will have a smaller size, maybe  as little as 1.5 or 2 MB.  Sometimes the copy has just been rotated (and the file size is made smaller). With Aperture I can rotate the original iPhoto picture and maintain the larger size. Sometimes (but not always) there is a name change from xxxx to xxxx.jpg.  But even without a name change, the edited or rotated file is smaller.  I have examined the two images at high resolution, in Aperture, and I cannot see any difference, though they have very different sizes.  This surprised me; there seems no benefit from the larger size, though there is a slight shift of the histogram of colors. (I do not plan to print any of these at high resolution, just show them on the iMac or a video.)
So my question is: is it desirable to keep the larger original file, though I do not see a difference in the image on my 27in iMac? I have many of these duplicates to choose between, and I would like to understand the consequences of my choice before I delete things.

I would keep the larger as long as storage space wasn't an issue and if it was I'd look at increasing storage before deleting the larger file.
Think of it this way the larger files contains more data, more data means not only a better image (even if you cannot see a difference on the monitor) but also more options when you go to edit the image.
Cropping is just one obvious example.  A larger file will give you more options when it comes to cropping the image.
You can always create the smaller from the larger, you can;t go the other way. Once you delete the larger file the data is lost for good.

  • How to Enable Color Management? (DV Compression Is Lightening Gamma)

This problem has plagued me with both After Effects and Premiere. I have a project with a number of .mpeg video files (I know MPEG is a bad file choice, but it's not causing the problem--I tested this with uncompressed media also). In AE, I have a darkly lit scene with gamma turned down to produce pure blacks in the shadowy areas. When I render as DV, Windows Media, or QuickTime and play the resulting file in Windows Media Player or Media Player Classic, the file has rather ugly dark grays where pure blacks should be. I read the article on color management and thought I had found the problem, but the "Use Display Color Management" option is grayed out and I've been unable to re-enable it.
Also, I don't know if this is of any major value, but the DV and Windows Media file versions look the same in Windows Media Player as they do in Media Player Classic. QuickTime files look slightly better in Classic than in the default QT player. This issue is especially confusing since the article only acknowledged that this can happen with QuickTime, whereas I'm having this problem with all formats except uncompressed. Thanks!

    > How do I enable display color management?
Have you enabled color management for the project (i.e., selected a working color space for the project)? If not, please read
"Choose a working color space and enable color management" for an explanation of how to enable color management for a project.
"Enable or disable display color management" contains information on managing colors using your monitor's color profile.
You said that you read "the article on color management", by which I presume that you mean the "Color Management Workflow" white paper on the Adobe Design Center website. That paper links to the
"Color management" section of After Effects CS3 Help on the Web and presumes that you'll consult that document for some of the basic underlying concepts and detailed procedures.
    > And I guess it's a redundant question, but are the answers to this issue the same for Premiere as for AE?
Premiere Pro does not do color management.

  • How to choose App-V 5 Sequencing "Primary Virtual Application Directory"?

    Hi,
How to choose App-V 5 Sequencing "Primary Virtual Application Directory"?
Should I use c:\program files\MyAppR1 or just c:\program files or c:\Anything, dose it matter?
    /SaiTech

Nice to know. Se before sequencing I have to know the exact folder structure of installable application, in what directory it would be installed by default?
Yes. Presumably you have a good understanding of the application before sequencing it. This generally means going through an installation of the application and understanding the layout on disk, what impact the app has on the user profile etc, before sequencing.

:) Finally it works in Netscape on at least one of Linux machine. The problem was that the java vm version of the Netscape was 1.1.5 but I compiled the applet in 1.3.1. The problem was solved after I download Netscape 6.2 and selected "Full install" when I installed it. Thanks.

I am facing with the problem. How to choose the wireless router part number support the following:
    Support 802.11n/a/b/g standard
Operates on both 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency
Support Power over Ethernet (so you don’t have to wire the power cable, just use LAN)
Support QoS in order to provide different service level based on priority

The 3600 AP has an AC module that suits your needs.  The SKU tha includes the module is:
    AIR-3602E-AC-xK9 or
    AIR-3602I-AC-xK9
3602E has external antennae while 3602I has internal.  Replace the x in xK9 with the letter for yout regulatory domain.  US would be AK9.
Cisco also has an AP with internal AC capabilities, the 3700.  The SKUs are:
    AIR-CAP3702E-x-K9 or

  • Intensity plot LV 7

    Hi everybody out there.
My licensed Version of LV is 7.1 for windows XP.
    I have a big matrix:
    first line: wavelenghth (380, 400, 420, ...)
first column: time (a nonlinear scale, e.g. 0,1,2,3,4,50,100,500,1000)
all the other "cells" contain my (relative) intensity signal:
    0.01, 0.02, 0.00
    0.03, NaN, -0.1
I cut the first row and column and generate an intensity plot.
    That looks quite OK.
But what I want to do is the following:
    1) How can I create ticks on the axis with my real value (and not the
matrix index)? (I'd like to use the vectors which is left from the
    matrix cropping)
    2) I need a interactive "tool" to read a cursor, which is placed by user
in this plot (with the intensity plot it is not possible).
    => in other word:
LV creates a nice plot with a axis including the ticks and the user can
put a cross (cursor) in the plot and LV returns the wavelength and the time
    Is this possible?
I'm new here, I hope the questions are not off topic.
    Thanks a lot,
    Thilo Kunz

Intensity graps require the spacing in x and y to be uniform so labeling the axis ticks will not be trivial. Maybe you can substitute the axis of a hidden slide and set it to "text labels".
The cursor problem is much easier. Just read the cursor index and then index into your array of time values and display it. (Same for the Y axis, except you would need to use cursor position, because cursor index is not available here).
Another possibility would be a picture indicator to make your graph. Here you have full control over any axis labels you want to place. This will require some work, though.

  • After turning an image black and white, how can I color in a certain area?

After turning an image black and white, how can I color in a certain area?

How did you change it? Did you make your B&W on a separate layer? If so, just erase the part of the layer you don't want, or add a layer mask and paint with black over the parts you want to hide.
If not, then you can copy/paste the original photo (you will need to press ctrl+A/cmd+A to select all before you can copy) into the new image. From there it depends on the relative proportions of B&W. Arrange the two layers so the one with the most area that you want to keep is on top, and either mask out the rest or just erase it away.
For future reference, an easier way to do this when starting from scratch is to use the smart brush. Choose a black and white conversion style, turn on the inverse checkbox and paint over the part you want in color. The rest of the photo turns black and white, leaving what you paint over in the original colors.

  • Intensity Plot Scaling

I need to change the scaling on the intensity plot. However, there have been some changes in Labview 6i and now I can't find how to change Xo and dX programmatically through attribute node. Does anyone know how to get Xo and dX to show up? I have been playing around with the X.increment, X.minor.increment, X.start, X.maximum, and X.minimum, but they don't seem to give the results I need.

In LabVIEW 6i, Xo (offset) and delta X (multiplier) for scaling data can be found in a property node under /X scale/Offset and Multiplier/
    Hope this helps. /Mikael

  • Unusual Intensity Plot

Has anybody got any idea how I might re-create this Matlab plot in LabVIEW without spending days developing a 2D picture solution to the problem, which although would be most fun is unlikely to be received particularly well by the project manager!
It's fundamentally a circular intensity plots which probably has a particular name which unfortunately I don't know, and the only person who might know is off sick today.
    Any thoughts greatfully received.
